Railay Viewpoint Resort

Location was perfect as away from the lively side but all within 10/15 minutes walking distance. Right on the beach, lovely rooms. Staff were great

How steep the rooms were, don't stay here if your not very mobile or have breathing difficulties. We we're put in one of the steepest rooms, but I refused to stay as I have COPD. It would have killed me. The staff moved us to one of the lower level rooms without any bother at all. The biggest negative I will say is the pool looked like a ghost town, the pool itself was great but no bar was open and didn't look like it's Bern open for months and the toilets were absolutely disgusting full to the brim with poo that definitely hadn't just happened, looked like they had not been cleaned for years.

Stayed there 3 times and will again. However, this is a review of Booking.com. I tried to write you on Facebook, not sure it is really an official page of Booking, you ought to check that. Furhermore… check on Pink Oyo at KohLanta. People are getting scammed and that is obvious via the recent reviews. Why WHY THE F…. don’t Booking.com react at such rwviews??? I just passed and a girl had paid for 22 nights! and now will just loose those money…. she was in pieces, not a rich girl from a rich country! I have aleays trusted Booking, what is happening to you? STOP letting custumers get cheated, STOP NOW everything with Pink Oyo at Koh Lanta. Now!

We spent only 1 night in Railay Viewpoint Resort. We were satisfied with everything. They replied fast for my message one day before the booked date. The check-in was fast and we were very suprised when they said that our room is already ready. It was about 11 am. The pool was very good, amazing view, optimal temperature. The breakfast was delcious. Their restaurant is just a few meters far from the sea, the view was beautiful from there. They towel was the softest I have ever used in a hotel. We would choose this accomodation again.

If I want to find something I did not like that was the absence of coffee in the room. I like to drink a coffee asap when I wake up. :)

I was worried about staying at this hotel because of the previous feedback. And I really can't complain about anything. It is not a luxury resort, it's is basic, comfortable, clean. 10 minutes walking from the famous beautiful Raley Est. Probably the rooms need renovation but everything was great. Ac + refrigerator available. The breakfast buffet was really good, mostly thai style. Little swimming pool available. The staff was kind and helpful. On the checkout day, I could drop off my luggage to go for a swim before to take the ferry, and they let me use a shower.

I had a room with 2 beds (one single one double). A/C worked well, the room is spacious, really everything you need. The rest of the reviews are commenting on the lights, this is correct, the bathroom isn't super well lit. This will be the case pretty much anywhere you stay though.. I am a backpacker so such complaints are odd to me. If you want to stay on Railay Beach for low cost, this is one of your bets options and the location is 10/10, everything is walking distance. The price is higher than the rest of Thailand, but low for Railay. C'mon guys :) Do your research. The staff were sweet - they looked after my bag and kept my laptop safe while I explored before the room was ready, then someone helped me carry it to the room at check-in time. Breakfast is a full buffet with lots of options.

Minor comment - the shower head in my room does spray directly at your face and there's no way to adjust the stand so it's pointing at your actual body. This just means you have to wet your body, switch it off, lather, take it off the stand, wash, put it back on, switch off, etc.

the property is maintained to a high standard. The property picture perfect every day. The staff and grounds keepers smile as they work hard and make it feel like home. The WI-FI 5g super fast. Fast enough to day trade and have a Zoom meeting without a glitch at the same time. Laundry service or self serve are both wonderful.

We did not experience anything we did not like. As a matter of fact they lost their water pump and we only knew about it when the brought us another key to another room for us to use the shower and facilities. Ty

The showers in our room had high pressure and hot water. Very clean rooms, everything worked well, nice view and pool and staff were really nice. I didnt expect it to be this great after some reviews I read but honeslty is was perfect for us, literally no issues. The buffet breakfast had lots of choices too. Its up an inclined driveway so if you have mobility issues just fyi. Recommend!

Provided 2 small water bottle per night, but refill water bottle station not included (there is a pay one around the corner)

The location was great, had loads of shops, restaurants and information kiosks nearby that you can use. The rooms were a little outdated with deco but the facilities were great, you got fresh water and toilet roll everyday and can give your key in to have your room cleaned. The pool was an amazing bonus with some local wildlife often joining!

The fridge in our room didn't work so was a little hard to keep our water cold.

Breakfast was nice - you can ask for anything on the menu (but beware different service for those who've got vouchers for breakfast versus paying customers). Rooms were nice. Despite the hotels alarming warnings at reception about deposits/lost keys etc it's a very quiet hotel with nice grounds, not a party hotel at all.

Staff were extremely unhelpful and grumpy. Must be jaded by all the tourists, which is a shame as so not in keeping with our experience of Thailand as a whole. Bathroom was quite smelly after you flushed the toilet.

In general it is a nice Resort in quieter area than the main beach, which we preferred. Lovely swimming pool, nice breakfast. The bungalows were pretty and fitted to the whole area, with a little terrace. The only fact which made the stay not so much comfortable was the cockroaches in the room. (Which might be something more common in that area, but not at all enjoyable especially with small kids)
