Ban Sainai Resort- SHA Extra Plus Aonang's Green Resort

Was veryyyy lovely pool and area around the bungalows. So beautiful everywhere. The staff are so very helpful with everything you might need. We would stay again.

The hotel is a Muslim hotel, which we hadn’t noticed before booking. This meant that there was no alcohol and no pork. We might have preferred to chose somewhere where a poolside cocktail was available. Also because there is so much water and greenery around, there are lots of mosquitoes. It was a taxi ride into the main ao nang beach, too far to walk in. But there is the shuttle that goes regularly.

There isn't a better resort style hotel that has everything you need. In my opinion, it is a 5 star resort. Technically speaking, the only reason this hotel isn't rated 5 star on the web is because Ban Sanai doesn't offer a "kids club." This is what the front desk lady told me. But who cares the property is kid friendly, has a pool and it is accommodating for all ages. Here's my review: Ban Sanai is a 5 star resort for adults - you will absolutely love this place because Ban Sanai meets every single one of your needs and beyond. Pool: It has a magical infinity pool, and the stunning granite wall view will surely hypnotize you into unbelief. Simply put, the view is remarkable, as is the entire property! The property: it is a groomed jungle. You will likely see monitor lizards- "like crocodile", they say🤣 Flora and fauna, birds, ponds, green grass, exotic wildlife. Sit back,relax, and watch nature come alive. The property is clean and very well kept. Ambiance: quiet, great views, superior good vibes, and kindness from all staff. Food: The buffet is so so, open from 630am to 10:30 am and is 350 per person and is slim pickings... Take my advice: don't prebook the buffet meals if you do choose to eat at the buffet... keep your options open, eat in town. Or pay for buffet eating daily... just walk up ask to be seated... pay the food bill at check out. This provides you with more flexibility and options while staying on the resort and you're not locked in to a breakfast buffet that isn't that great anyway... Rooms: rooms are huge and clean, room service is 24hrs and the food is quite good, prices vary(we ate out). Delux rooms and all other room styles have a mini fridge, huge bathrooms, spacious showers , and dim lighting in the rooms, ( lighting in rooms could be improved) Every bungalow delux or otherwise has its own really spacious patio, too.

Stunning resort/hotel, set in beautiful and immaculate grounds. Location in a quiet area, but only 5 minute drive to Ao Nang seafront. Great that a hourly shuttle to the beach is offered! Staff are super friendly and helpful! Rooms very clean and lots of lovely touches, we loved our room with the big bath tub. Great breakfast, lots of options available. Would love to stay here again!

There wasn’t enough umbrellas around the pool. Plenty of sun beds but not all had umbrellas, when it was very hot this was disappointing as wanted to use the pool area but not having shade was off putting.

Wonderful bungalows surrounded by nature. A lot of beautiful trees, various flowers, different birds, squirrels playing in the trees. Bungalow is very cozy, spacious with a beautiful terrace. From terrace you can see a wonderful Aonang hill. Comfortable and soft bed, large and well functioning jacuzzi. Bungalows are cleaned every day, constant clean towels, new robes, and water in glass bottles every morning. Very friendly, sincere staff always ready to help. There is a shuttle to the beach. Very tasty, various breakfasts with a beautiful view of the lake. Amazing, beautiful pool with a beautiful view of the hill. Ban Sainai is the one of the most beautiful resort in Krabi.

Everything was wonderful.

We were very positively surprised with our experience at Ban Sainai - our cottage was a great size, clean and well-serviced. It had all the facilities we needed, and the jacuzzi was a lovely extra that we enjoyed. The staff were amazing - they were very responsive to our questions and requests, and they always found a solution. The resort, for us, was very well-located. We enjoyed the quietness of our cottage, and we just needed to walk a few minutes to access everything the town could offer, including the beach. We can also highly recommend the massage salon inside the resort - after trying 4-5 different places within Ao Nang, the best massage we had during our holiday was actually the one we had at the resort.

The one thing we couldn't enjoy as we wanted was breakfast. During our holidays we enjoy to sleep in, so we missed the breakfast 90% of the time. Current breakfast hours are until 10:30, but we would have really appreciated it if it was until 11:30 or midday.

The pool is beautiful! Well kept, refreshing and huge. Chairs are comfortable. All staff members were pleasant and helpful, especially A & Ron! The golf carts were always sent very promptly to the room or pool when requested. The cottage was clean and beautiful! The grounds are well kept and lovely. The shuttle to and from Ao Nang beach was a very nice convenience.

The breakfast buffet looked good, but we did not eat any of the breads or desserts as there were flies all over them every day. The bathroom was lovely with excellent jacuzzi & shower, however I wish it had been air-conditioned like the bedroom. Some background music at the pool would be nice. I found the food from lunch/dinner to be less than mediocre.

We booked the grand pond view cottage, which was perfectly clean and had a an amazing view. The resort is full of wildlife, butterflies and so many different types of plants. Breakfast is good and the staff are lovely. The location is great because it’s not right in the centre (which can be very noisy) but it’s only a 5 min drive away and tuktuks can be ordered at reception very easily. The pool area is gorgeous- I couldn’t recommend this resort enough!

The laundry service was too expensive, and we needed to use halfway through our stay. We went elsewhere.

Great resort with exceptional facilities. Customer service was also very good very attentive staff and they help you with everything. Pool was large enough with amazing view on the near by cliff, garden area was kept spotless. All overall experience was good.

Only couple of things to mention, they dont sell any alcohol, no beer, wine anything only mocktails. When I asked why one of the staff at the pool bar why, she was kind of rude and seemed to be annoyed why I am asking. She just said that we need to respect them... anyway place is very good if you want to relax, honeymoon etc.

What's not to like!! The backdrop was like something out of a movie, the staff were so kind and obliging with everything we needed. The breakfast was more than enough with a list of eggs/pancakes etc to choose from. The size of our room was HUGE and the bathrooms were lovely. The beds were comfortable with a variety of pillows to choose from. Wandering the grounds you could see all sorts of wildlife. The shuttle to the beach was helpful and if it was quite so hot we could easily have walked out to theain street to catch tuk tuks etc as needed. Ban Sainai is a dry hotel but that just means you bring your own alcohol. It isn't a big deal and there are many non-alcoholic drink options! A couple of minutes away there is Glur hostel which has delicious pizzas and Coffee Patio for a coffee and relax if you want a nearby change of scenery.

Krabi is one of the most beautiful destination that I have ever been to..This property is a lush tropical place. Beautiful scenes, great pool and the breakfast restaurant location is just unbeleivable next to a pond. Great scenes from every step you take. I had stayed in the coconut view rooms for 2 nights. I would highly recommend the water View villas. Amazing. Night life in Ao Nang Beach was awesome. Worth mentioning Boogie Bar and Full Moon Bar. They place some great live music, mostly rock. Must try the food at 1. Kodam Kitchen (located behind Ramada) 2. Ao Nang Night Market is a definite Yessss. 3. The Beach. Honestly the food was great just everywhere. Probably I am biased towards Thai Food 😉. Don't compare the night life of Ao Nang with Pattong. Still it's too good to spend minimum 3 nights here. The Ao Nang Beach is just 150 ThB. 8 min max from the property. Even though its 3 star, but I would rate it 4 just because of the greenery and calm inside the property. Highly recommended due to nature.
