Nexus Valladolid Suites & Hotel

We had a deluxe suite. The room was a good size, reasonably well furnished, with comfortable beds. The bathroom (shower only) was excellent. And the kitchen was very well-equipped from the electrical point of view (hob, microwave, fridge freezer, etc)

Evidently the management have never tried to use one of these rooms. For example, the marketing says "Kitchen equipped with ceramic hob, microwave oven, fridge freezer, dishwasher, minibar, coffee maker, toaster and all the necessary utensils to enjoy your stay." Well, there was no sharp knife, no cutting board, no corkscrew, no wine glasses, no dishcloth, no washing-up liquid and so on. Then, there was nice table at which to eat, but only one chair.

Very central location, I could see the church of Santa María de la Antigua from my room. The Premium Suite is fairly large and well equipped, with a nice shower, a small kitchen and a sofa. The parking is spot on, entering from a street level car elevator and having direct access to the rooms elevator is very nice. Staff speaks very good english and is very kind and helpful.

Although the room is nice and all, it starts to feel a bit dated. I really hated not having the usual amenities, I didn't expect that, especially from a 4* hotel. Beds could be better.

Apartment had a great view over the cathedral and surrounding area and the windows opened allowing one to experience the atmosphere. Expensive paid parking was very secure and accessed from another street via a car lift.

The kitchenette was barely equipped - not even a wine glass and just about enough utensils for breakfast. The extractor hood was broken which we noticed on the one occasion we wanted to cook some ravioli. They had some wines connected to the hotel which could have been available for tasting, not just purchase. A dishwasher was in the apartment but when I enquired about powder, I was told to hand-wash in the sink with the soap from the bathroom dispenser. No tea-towels for drying up and a trip to carry soap from the bathroom which was not satisfactory. Also, there was virtually no soap in either the shower or bathroom squeeze bottles.

Fantastic suite in a brilliant location. Very spacious, clean, comfortable and well furnished and equipped. Excellent value for money. We have had five stays in Valladolid in the last few years and have been disappointed by the standard of the hotels we have used but not any longer. This will be our regular hotel whenever we visit this lovely city.

Locating a smoke detector that flashes a bright red light every nine seconds directly over your pillow is a design flaw that needs to be addressed as a matter of urgency. Take a sleeping mask with you if you want to get some sleep. The underground car parking, accessed via a car lift, is very convenient and secure but, at €19.50 is overpriced.

The room is enormous and the beds are very comfortable, and I just loved falling asleep and waking up to the view of La Antigua. Even though the hotel is in the heart of the historical centre and we visited during the busy season, the room was really quite and peaceful. The shower is really spacious and the bathroom floor is heated, which was a very nice touch during our winter visit. The hotel's underground parking is 19.50 euros, which I feel is a standard price for hotels and is only 4-5 euros more expensive than the overnight parking nearby.

There's no microwave or tea kettle to boil water (only the coffee machine with filters, although there are no complementary coffee nor filters), so I had to boil tea water in a pot. Interestingly though, there is an oven in case you want a pizza for your late snack.

Very nice hotel located in the centre of Valladolid, close to the cathedral. There are other tourist attractions nearby. There are many restaurants and bars around the hotel. The rooms are spacious enough, with comfortable beds and a small kitchen (no kettle though). The hotel staff are extremely polite and helpful! A nice surprise was the wine available at the hotel. The hotel owners have vineyards in both Ribera de Duero and Toro regions and good wine was available for sale and for a small tasting.

The only small downside was that one night it was a bit noisy outside the hotel, but it was on a Friday so this was to be expected.

Lovely, big, comfortable room. Fantastic view! Ideal location. Very close to the cathedral, 15 minutes walk from the station, close to loads of cafes, bars and restaurants.

No kettle No corkscrew No "cleaning welcome pack" until day 5 of our stay WiFi was rubbish and only worked at all in the bathroom.

An excellent aparthotel with a spacious room, two very comfortabel single beds. The bathroom is very spacious too. People at the reception were friendly and speak English very well. The parking garage is an experience itself: you drive your car into the car elevator, go down to the garage level, park your car and go to your apartment with another elevator (euro 19,50 per night).

Lovely suites, all slightly different, we booked five for various family members. Plenty of space and great for travelling with babies and toddlers. Marvellous location, wonderful to have such secure parking (remember to book in advance), and staff were amazingly helpful. Would be delighted to repeat the experience !!

A kettle would be useful, because we drink lots of tea, but it was no hardship to boil water in a pan.

The room has nearly everything you need, big windows, great kitchen, great wardrobe and bathroom, great location, super nice staff. It's very quiet and beautifully decorated, I could live there permanently

The room had an amazing kitchenette, but: with a fancy oven but no microwave. The extraction hood was broken, so cooking with no microwave is smelly and messy. Had a fancy coffee machine without filters or capsules but no kettle. Didn't have cleaning materials but the lovely cleaning lady left some on day two. I think they should have a simple microwave and a kettle for convenience and energy saving.
