Hotel Imperial

The greeting at the receptions was suberb. We were greeted like royals and got also good advice for where we should go for the best possible experience of the town during our short visit. The hotel is like visiting historic times with antiques and just lovely architecture. Thanks for helping out in finding the best parking garage near the hotel.

The cleaning personnell don´t chech whether they leave hairs behind in the room or bathroom. It is a bit sloppy work. There is no place near the hotel for stopping with the car, for like 10 minutes, so that one can move ones lagguage from the car to the hotel room. Would be nice if the city could provide such possibilities to the hotel.

The location was just behind the main square which was superb and the help to get parked from Roberto on reception was invaluable. If it was easier to get to Valladolid, from the UK, then this is the hotel I would go too

The AC could have worked better, however that is really a small thing, however if it were high 20's or 30s degrees, it would have been difficult to see it having any affect, maybe we just didn't work it correctly

The hotel’s location was right in the old town area, ideal. The reception staff, especially Pauline) were very welcoming and spent about 15 mins providing places of interest information, restaurants and the car parking. The main plaza is 2 mins walk from the hotel and the immediate area has enough eating places to satisfy all ages. We would highly recommend this hotel.The added bonus was the hotel paid of the 2 night parking stay.

Location was good, right next to the Plaza Mayor, and parking was free in the Plaza Mayor, which was an unexpected bonus. Room was large and very comfortable, shower was very good. Breakfast was good, either continental or full breakfast. Nice city, although we only stayed one night so didn't have chance to explore it.

All good. Bit difficult to get to the parking due to road works in the city, but no fault of the hotel.

Everything, a really traditional hotel which is befitting of it's location. Whilst the room would benefit from a little updating it was 100% fit for purpose. I booked a suite which was wonderful. The breakfast was very good with freshly made hot options available a d a good cold buffet on offer. The staff were exceptional, thank you Roberto (I remembered your name) who gave us a synopsis of places to visit and eat during our short stay. As for the city - it is a hidden Spanish gem

Car parking was limited but was in a secure location a short walk from the hotel. I would recommend booking a space. Please note, the hotel make you aware of this so it is NOT a criticism it is a reminder to fellow travellers.

Central location on a pedestrian street close to Plaza Mayor and with plenty of good tapas bars within walking distance. Impressive entrance area with abundant use of ornamental stone. Short, inexpensive taxi ride from the train station. I asked for a quiet room on a high floor and that is what they gave us. This is a traditional Spanish hotel in a traditional Spanish city. Good breakfast and friendly staff: I would return.

Beautiful hotel with grand marble foyer, a few steps from Plaza Mayor. Free parking below the Plaza. Welcoming and helpful staff. Big room with two Juliette balconies. Lovely buffet breakfast with freshly made cappuccino.

Sadly our visit was marred by an overwhelming aroma emanating from the lobby which permeated to the third floor corridor. Whether someone’s aftershave (most likely) perfume or scented cleaning product, it made us both nauseated and we departed with banging headaches. Shame.

This hotel was within easy reach of lovely bars and restaurants. The room was immaculate and spacious and when we arrived they had provided dog bed, bowls and even 2 bags of treats that were suitable for the size of our tiny dogs. The beds were very comfortable.

The parking is not on site. We were allowed to unload outside the hotel which is on a pedestrian area and then guided to public parking. Whilst this was a little worrying at first, the parking the hotel use is 24 hour secure and only a short walk from the hotel. This would not stop us from using this hotel again.

This hotel is worth more than 4 stars! From the wonderful lady at reception to all the other staff, just perfect. Wonderful room, great restaurant, I just can’t fault this place. Stunning!!

Don’t change a thing!!

Location, central for seeing Valladolid. Reception and welcome from staff, especially Roberto. He was very helpful and knowledgable about where to visit and restaurants to use. Room was spacious, comfortable all you needed for a city break.

Only downside is no parking, but it is a hotel in the centre, so to be expected.
