AluaSoul Costa Malaga - Adults recommended

Convenient location close to railway station and bus stop. Comfortable bed with a duvet and large pillows.

The bar with a view on floor 10 was never open when I checked and always had a sign that it would be open soon. In the room there was no comfortable chair, only a single hard plastic chair by the desk. The balcony was tiny. Breakfast was too busy with queues for the coffee machines and horrible juice. No porridge. The lifts were slow to arrive and often full. The shower room was very cramped because of a big shower with a big glass door and a big basin leaving no space to stand.

Fantastic location, very clean and a modern hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was brilliant, it does get very busy so be mindful of wait times but the staff do a fantastic job to accomodate. The rooms were pleasant regularly cleaned, views were very nice. The check out time is 12pm which is fantastic for a later flight. The pool area is clean and very spacious, the pool table area is a nice touch. Close to local amenities such as metro/beach/local shops.

Potentially more vegan/vegetarian food options would be brilliant The room I booked did state double but there were two single beds when we arrived which moved around a lot. Not too much of a problem but not ideal.

Location

Needs more outdoor sunloungers.. a lot of space being wasted for "exclusive" residents but not available others given that no current people using them -could be made available for general use when this is the case. Like wise cabana beds with attached prices.. if not being taken advantage of should be made available for general use later in the day..

The hotel is very well located, because it is a little far from all the chaos of the city without being totally isolated. The room was big enough and the view was magnificent (you could see the sea from the 8th floor). The breakfast was good, with a big variety of fresh food. The staff in the reception is very helpful, thank you so much for making my stay memorable in this hotel!

The only thing was that I struggled a lot with the key cards: the problem was the card reader in the door (they changed my card twice and it still didn't work), and it took me 10 minutes to open the door every time.

We stayed in this lovely hotel for 2 nights and it was a very good experience. We can definitely recommend it. The room is clean with a little balcony and the breakfast is nice. We even tried a Zumba class which was great especially thanks to Viktoria. It would have been even better if the classes were in the pool area. The staff in general is really friendly and welcoming. Very central location, just few minutes walking from the train station.

The walls are not very thick, you can hear quite a lot from your neighbors. It would have been even better if the Zumba classes were in the pool area and not in the gym.

The hotel is in a fantastic location with close proximity to bars and restaurants in Torremolinos. Also, the train station is only a five minute walk away with journeys to Malaga, Benalmadena and Fuengirola. There is also a bus stop conveniently located outside the hotel. We were given a warm welcome by Elena when we arrived late in the evening. We found staff to be pleasant and approachable and were always there if you needed help or had any questions to ask. The rooms are cleaned daily and the pool area is well maintained. The pool bar prices are reasonable for a hotel and the pool area is well maintained. There are a wide range of breakfast options to cater for all whether you want cooked food or continental.

We arrived later in the evening so we were last to check in. We found out that they could only allocate us a disabled room with the difference being the walk in shower. We were told to return the next morning so we can move but we did not bother. Also our view from this room was also not great, however, we weren't spending much time in our room anyway.

The hotel was very modernized and super clean. Great facilities and extremely friendly staff (shout-out to the restaurant staff, the girls there were the sweetes). Overall the quality of the hotel was huge for its price. We were allowed to check in early for 20€ per room and also late check out for 40€ per room (until 3pm).

The only negative aspect I can point is you have to pay for the drinks at dinner, even water. (we had breakfast and dinner included in our stay)

We only stayed 1 night but the property was fab from walking in and seeing the modern decor then the reception staff being accommodating and letting us check in early, lovely and very helpful. A very chill vibe stay.

Only down was the rooms on 2nd floor, they are very close to the pool area which is good but at night they are then very close to the live music, very lovely mind but were day people not night, just our preference of course. (she was done by 11, so not too late) Oh also air-con might need looking as very loud in the room.

We got to spend 10 amazing days at AluaSoul Costa Malaga hotel in July-August, 2022. We had a double bed room overlooking the pool. The room was very clean and well-equipped. We had a wonderful time, especially because of Viktoria, the animator of the hotel. She made sure that we had a fantastic time, held aquazumba and dance classes every day, and even cheered up our afternoons with cocktail games! The meals (breakfast and dinner) were very tasty, there was a wide range of food, and the kitchen staff even helped us with gluten free and diary free options every day. We would like to thank the whole staff, but especially Viktoria, Alexia, Roman, Ivo, Juan Carlos and Paco, because their kindness and helpfulness truly made our holiday memorable.

Arrived back today after staying here for a week. Words cannot describe how perfect this hotel is. It’s so clean, modern, organised and the staff are so friendly. When I arrived I thought I had paid for breakfast with my booking but found out this wasn’t the case. The two female staff behind reception said it’s okay free breakfast for your whole stay. I cannot not recommend this hotel enough and will return. Thanks from Rachel and Catherine :)
