Casa Bougainvillea

1000% celiak friendly accommodation! :D I wrote to owner David before, that i am celiak and if is possible to have some gluten free option for breakfast. He answered that no problem, but honestly, I was a little bit sceptic... But wtf? (sorry :D) but David prepared for me every morning different absolutely delicious gorgeous variety gluten free breakfast. Incredible! :) He was also very friendly and helpfuly. Room was small but clean (it was cleaned every day!) Location is almost in the center of Soller. And Soller? Soller is the place where you want to stay, in the middle stuning Tramuntana (not Palma, sorry...)

Everything! I had a great stay at Casa Bougainvillea :) I very rarely write reviews, but since I liked this accommodation so much, I want to put it down here. The host David is super welcoming, nice and helpful. He is very concerned about his guests. The room is very cozy and clean. It is equipped with everything you need. There is also a coffee machine in the room. The bed is very comfortable and you sleep very well. And the pillows were the best I have ever had in any accommodation during all my travels 😃 The breakfast is a dream, super tasty! You get different things (eggs, fruit, bread, croissants, cheese, jam, salty cake with ham/tomato/goat cheese, coffee, orange juice) and they also ask you about any preferences or allergies. It was a lot to eat and David even packed some of it for me to take away for the day! The courtyard is very lovingly and beautifully decorated and invites you to relax. The view from the room into the courtyard and of the mountains in the evening sun is beautiful. I really loved the style and charme of this beautiful house :) I would definitely come back to this accommodation and recommend it to anyone who comes to Sóller! Thanks for the lovely stay 😊

The breakfast at Casa Bougainvillea are absolutely exceptional. Every day we were presented with a different selection of freshly made savouries, cake, fresh fruit & bread. The service was amazing, the owner & staff so pleasant & accommodating. Our room was perfect, being on the top storey we had a beautiful view of the mountains. Everything was extremely well thought out, spacious & in excellent condition. The location is ideal - a gentle stroll from the buzzing centre of Soller & having an excellent choice of restaurants nearby.

A wonderful stay! Received all information prior to my stay through text SMS. Clean inside the room, beautiful building (on the inside) and courtyard, good with a desk and snack-bar inside the room. Comfortable bed. Perfect stay for people who want to explore the city or are doing hiking in the area. AMAZING breakfast! Couldn't believe my eyes when the kind woman came out with a filled tray with fresh fruit, chocolate cake, bread and coffee as if I was on a restaurant. Good that they have a room where one can store things after check-out if needed.

It is an old building and you hear quite well the other guests in the building when someone enters the floor or walks past your door. Maybe not the best option if you need complete silence during the whole night. In my room, even though the door was closed and locked, there was a small gap so you could see the light in the corridor outside and a shadow if someone walked by.

We've had a wonderful time in Casa Bougainvillea. The communication before and during our stay was fast and clear, David (the owner) offered a flexible airport shuttle for an affordable price and picked us up personally. He offered us many suggestions for activities around the area and there were scooters, bikes and even a car available for rent. The rooms have modern equipment with a very comfortable bed, AC unit, USB power sockets, minibar etc. Breakfast is served personally by David and consists of fresh juice, yogurt and fruits, bread, cheese, marmalade as well as homemade pie/quiche/dessert. Each day there was some variance so we never had the same, but everything was really delicious! The location of the hotel is great too, less then five minutes to walk to the city center, supermarkets and bus stops. We really enjoyed our stay, highly recommended!

Soundproofing of the rooms could be improved (but during our stay even though other guests were present this was never a problem and only barely noticeable)

The welcome and the overall setting , such as the outside dinning, the layout of the house itself. The lovely attentive staff .

While we had no real issue ourselves our room ( which we booked), was on the top floor which can only be accessed by very steep stairs. These steps might be challenging for people who have mobility issues. Therefore I would check the room location with the host David in advance .

We booked this hotel after reading other reviews. We were exceptionally happy with our choice and the hotel lived up to our expectations. It is a fabulous traditional house with lots of character. The breakfast was amazing and a real treat to start our day. The location was great for us as a base for walking in the local vicinity. There are a couple of very good restaurants within a five minute walk of the property. The owner David and all of his staff were extremely friendly and very helpful.

Breakfast was really nice, different each day and not the usual fry up. Staff extremely helpful, David, the host, was friendly and always keen to help. Room was clean and well equipped. Bed comfort was extremely important to us and it didn't disappoint.

Only downside is parking. The only options are A) on street parking, not expensive but you have to keep topping the meter up or B) parking 300m away behind the bus stop, again not expensive but can only do a day at a time.

David and Juana are such lovely hosts and Casa Bougainvillea is absolutely gorgeous. The breakfast is amazing with something different freshly baked each day. We had amazing cakes, savoury pastries and lovely fruit salads. If there was too much to eat it would be packed up for us to take with us to enjoy later in the day! We had a great time and can't recommend staying there highly enough.

Amazing experience staying in Casa Bougainvillea! I felt very comfortable and nicely accommodate. Professional, kind and attentive staff! David is the most generous person I meet ! Everything was brilliant! There was nothing to not like This place is on the center of the Soller , near busses , trains,restaurants and plenty others shops around.
