AACR Hotel Monteolivos

Our stay was great! Since the moment we arrived we felt very welcomed. We arrived before the official check-in time, but our room was ready, fresh and clean. The front desk ladies were exceptionally nice and responsive. The personel was kind and we would love to return. The rooms were nice, with comfy beds, air conditioner, big bathrooms with all the toiletries one might need for their stay. The pool was great, the garden is beautiful. The neighbourhood is nice, very quiet, so great for sleeping and resting after a long day. We didn´t pay for the breakfast, so cannot say anything about that, but we would 100% suggest this places for other travelers!

The only thing could be that the beds were very soft, I like a harder bed, it's a personal preference. My friend, for example, loved it and it was perfect for them! Literally nothing bad to say about this place.

Everything was perfect, clean pool to survivor the weather, comfortable big bed and pillows, super large room with AC, respectful guests, no kids, great value for the money, affordable prices for cocktails by the pool (6€!). We didn’t want continental breakfast and it was great that they have a small option (€2,50 for a delicious croissant with coffee). The pool area is nice with some Olive trees to rest by the shadow. All Employees had an Excellent customer attention. Location is perfect to stay in a calm spot just some minutes away from the vivid center (30 min walking, or a 5€ drive in Uber). I was in love of this stay, totally worth it!!!

It was not something bad but just a heads up: I showered late in the evening and thought there was no warm water. But afterwards I noticed that it took longer to come out as no one was using it. Just 1 minute of patience and it will work perfectly :)

The hotel is great! Rooms are simple but modern. Plenty of space. Excellent showers. AC works OK but did seem a bit weak at first as it struggled to cool down a hot room - no worries after that first struggle, and it was VERY shot in Seville during our stay. The pool was great with all that heat - only wish we had more time to spend in it! Location is near Santa Justa and bus connections - just be aware, it seems as though times listed on bus timetables for Seville are a bit more like rough guides than schedules. The staff here is amazing - warm and friendly and welcoming. Every single member of staff that we encountered went out of their way to be helpful.

Very clean rooms, friendly staff. Nice breakfast buffet enough choice for everybody though no variations. But still very good for a 3 star hotel.

Location close to Santa Justa railway station, lots of connections. Not close to the city centre but hotel chosen because of price difference with equivalent hotels in the centre. Bus fare from Santa Justa to the centre : 1,40 €, taxi fare between 6 and 10 €.

The hotel is really well placed for getting to Santa Justa train station and only a short walk from Nervion Plaza/stadium. There are lots of bars, restaurants and supermarkets nearby too. The room was clean and well set out, and functional for a short stay there. The staff were really friendly too.

As a solo female traveller, I was given a room on the ground floor which usually happen/doesn't make me feel too safe. The room was quite warm and I couldn't get the aircon to cool, so I was reluctant to open a window. I realise now I hadn't requested a room away from street level when booking and could have asked for a different room but didn't.

Nice, clean, decent sized room with a view to the garden & pool. Little fridge useful for storing water. Smiley, pleasant staff from cleaners to front desk. Easy access. Nice pool area. Pool mostly in the shade this time of year but given how hot it was this was quite welcome. Helpful staff who pointed out places of interest & transport. 5 mins from train station & Airport bus to get home. Plus a few minutes walk & choice of buses. Good range of cafes, restaurants & bars only 2 mins away. Lima Street food particularly good. Not far from small supermarkets but also major shopping centre nearby. Very close to Seville football ground - possibly a minus as well as a plus. Only had breakfast there once but good choices. Easy check in/ out

Minor grumbles - only ate breakfast there once - husband's croissant was stale. Lighting in room was either very harsh or dim. The bar - had cocktails a couple of times with varying degrees of failures.

This was a really nice hotel. It is conveniently located in a residential area less than a 10 minute walk from the train station. The staff were amazing, friendly and most helpful throughout our stay. The minute we checked in the lady on reception gave us a map of the city, pointed out our location and advised us on which buses to get to the different areas of the city that we wanted to see. She told us where to get on each bus & where we would get off. She advised on the best value ticket for us to buy which brought down the already good value travel by 50%. The bus journey into the centre of Seville was literally 10 minutes and very easy to do. The hotel was only on two levels and fairly small but it had a real feel of friendliness. You could tell all the staff seemed very happy working there by the pleasant atmosphere & nothing was too much trouble for them. There is a pool located at the back of the hotel near the dining room/bar and a lift is available to take you to first floor level. The rooms were not particularly large but were adequate for what we needed. The local area is very quiet and we didn't hear any sounds at all. The bed was really comfortable and we slept well every night. Whilst we were staying the daily temperature was in the 40's but once we were in the room, within a couple of minutes the air conditioning unit had cooled the room to a comfortable temperature. We really enjoyed our stay and have to say the staff and lovely relaxed atmosphere around the hotel was superb.

The only thing I think that could be improved was breakfast, perhaps with a bit more choice. It was fairly basic compared to the other hotels we stayed this holiday but do not let that put you off.

The hotel is located on a quiet side street within easy walking distance of Santa Justa railway station and the bus stop for the airport express (route EA). Staff was very friendly and English-speaking. Pleasant, familial atmosphere. Good breakfast buffet; no restaurant in hotel but many can be found within ten minutes' walking distance. Foster's Hollywood (across the street from El Corte Inglés department store) serves high quality American-style burgers.

The room was not very large and rather dark. Fine for a stopover or a few nights, but not the first choice for a prolonged stay. If you want to see the sights of Seville, you would probably prefer a property downtown.

Very nice hotel in a quiet backstreet which has everything you need. It's not luxury but comfortable enough for an overnight stay. It's quite near the train station, around 8 minutes walk. There is a swimming pool which is nice for the hot days. We didn't have breakfast but were offered a cup of coffee "on the house" while waiting for our taxi early in the morning. Good aircon and a small but perfectly ok bathroom. We were recommended a tapas bar by the receptionist which was a couple of streets away and it was very good. There is a small bar in the hotel and the possibility to order simple food if you don't want to go out. There's also a small fridge in the room.

This hotel is a gem. We booked it to be close to Santa Justa station to pick up our rented car. It is around 3 minutes on foot to the car rental outlets. It was indeed a super surprise. The staff is so sweet and helpful. The Cleanliness is fantastic, The pool area so comfortable. the lift spotless and smelling fresh, every time. It is a quiet hotel, silence in corridors and temperature cool. ACs are very efficient , and that is a big plus in the south of Spain. The bar is very close to the pool. Although it is close to the station, the neighborhood is nice, quiet, and safe. I recommend this hotel with all my heart. I will definitely go there again and again when I rent a car in Sevilla. the room was very clean and well equipped. The bed and pillows, good quality. The hotel has its own parking, in the back of the garden which is a marvel. Truly good value for money here, for a quiet, homely hotel, very well connected to the center.

Nothing, it's just perfect and way above it's 3 stars. I was so positively impressed by this hotel and the staff and all else.
