CoolRooms Palacio Villapanés

The location of the hotel is very good. Everything we wanted to see seemed to be only a few minutes walk. We stayed for almost a week and ate breakfast every day and a couple of evening meals too. - all meals were good The thing that made this hotel so good was, in our view, the staff. Every single one of them was exceptional. They were attentive without being intrusive and nothing seemed too much trouble. Unfortunately some of the facilities were out of action for our trip but we were warned about this before we arrived. Other than this everything was perfect. Well done.

Would have been great if the spa was open but it wasn't so can't comment.

We loved this hotel. Elegant, luxurious, wonderful staff, clean and spacious room, very quiet and peaceful, easy to get everywhere in Sevilla, still retained the feeling of the old palacio. The bar area was cozy and the food we ordered was good. We will be happy to return to Palacio Villapanes.

My only complaint is about the spa. It was not well maintained. The hammam should be hosed after each user. The "special" showers are very hot and very cold with no adjustment possible. The exercise room had a walking and a biking machine and one universal technogym which was in very bad repair so no chance to do a weight workout. A set of free weights would have been appreciated. The staff there didn't seem interested so we didn't want to take a chance with the massage. All in all it was way below the high standard of the hotel.

The hotel is beautiful and the staff we fantastic. It is very central being about ten minutes walk from the Cathedral. We didn't have breakfast as we felt it was expensive. All good.

Our room was ground floor and next to the bar. This wasnt a problem but felt a bit weird as the window was into a public area.

Beautiful old Palacio

A good walk to the Alcázar and Cathedral. Our room, no. 32, was nice inside with four nice windows overlooking the courtyard. It was, however, a ground floor room and the curtains had to stay closed because there were diners and/ or bar patrons outside at breakfast, the afternoon and dinner. Our room was just dark. I booked the reservation well in advance and am unclear as to why that was the best they could do for my room selection.

The location was great, in between the streets & super close walk to the center. The entrance, of course, was so magical which made the check-in process amazing - that & the lovely staff. They were so friendly and welcoming and super helpful with their recommendations around the city (each recommendation was on POINT.) Rooms were lovely and since we were on our honeymoon, we got upgraded to an amazing room on a terrace. Overall, I would stay there again and again. Bonus: the beds were like clouds. - Hana Akram

The hotel is gorgeous; a retrofitted palace, it captures the architecture and beauty that makes Seville so memorable. The room was extremely comfortable and staff was exceptionally helpful. Finally, the hotel is a mere 15 minute walk from most of Seville's prime attractions. I loved my stay.

The rooms on the ground floor are a bit noisy as trucks drive by on the cobblestone streets. It is not a dealbreaker but it should be noted.

The staff were wonderfully welcoming from the moment we arrived and could not do enough for us. The girls had booked massages for the afternoon of the first day and both said that they were first class massages. Our room #001 had a fabulous bathroom, with a brilliant shower and a huge bath.

There was little not to like. The mini-bar was expensive, but they always are: curiously, they gave us a couple of bottles of water every day anyway, so we did not need the mini bar. Our break was in November, so we expected the weather to be on the fresh side, but it was cold by Sevillian standards, and the heating in the room (which was effectively the air conditioning) was a little noisy - not enough to wake or keep you up, but noticeably in the background.

The service and staff were exceptional. Very pleasant and nice. They went out of their way to make your stay comfortable. They gave us wonderful recommendations. They went through what's in the hotel and your room. They helped with bookings etc. They were great! The hotel was also walking distance to many attractions, restaurants, wine bars and tapas bars but it's actual location was on a quiet street which was great.

It would have been nice to have an actual pool instead of a dipping one but no biggie.

the service was impeccable. nothing was too much trouble and we were made to feel like royalty from arrival to check out. they came in to clean our room multiple times a day and even got the room ready for night by drawing the curtains, making the beds and turning the night lights on. It was my birthday and they delivered cava and cake to the room which was amazing!

the only feedback I would give is that I wasn’t a huge fan of the room service breakfast. it’s the most expensive breakfast we’ve ever come across and it wasn’t amazing. however, the hotel is in such a good location that you can walk to a nearby cafe instead.

Relaxed beautifully restored palacio, the staff were very attentive and organised anything we required promptly and efficiently

Would have liked the hotel bar to be open for maybe a half an hour later. Nice to have a nightcap in the stunning courtyard.
