Basic Hotel Puerta de Sevilla

Terrific little boutique Hotel with Fabulously helpful friendly staff & in a perfect location for sightseeing & eating out etc right in the centre near the cathedral :) Lovely rooftop terrace with a fab view :) although too hot for us to sit out on! Huge bonus was the Free water, juice, coffee/tea & snacks for the guests 24hrs & free cereal/croissants etc for breakfast :) Amazing thank you sooooo much we will be back :)

Room was small & on a very noisy street but we were only there for 1 night & we weren't advised check in was at the attached Hotel

The hotel is very good value for money. The room was warm ( we went in winter), clean and well located... Close to the cathedral and very central. The late shift receptionist was very kind and helpful. Other reviews said the barthoom was small but I found it was a normal size. In the reception area they provided free drinks, coffee and some small snacks which was a surprise and an added bonus. For a short stay of two nights it was good.

Always subjective but the bed was a bit too firm for me. I also think if you don't have ear plugs or are a deep sleeper the central location means it is very loud . It is near many bars and in a main road which has its pros and cons.

Location in Santa Cruz is perfect! I had a balcony on street which was nice. Hotel is nice and very nicely decorated.

I didn’t like that it didn’t have a Mini fridge in room (altho cold water is avail downstairs for guests) it important for me to have cold water in room when I need it instead of running downstairs every time! Fridge for me, is also necessary to keep snack/fruits which I always like to keep as everything goes so hot in Sevilla!

Great location with everything we wanted to visit close by, as well as lots of bars, cafes and restaurants. Great area of town to stay. The hotel was very clean and the staff friendly and helpful.

We had a double room, but it was very small. We managed, but I had to close my case at night so that I could walk round the bed. There was nowhere to put our cases other than the floor, not the end of the world but not great if you’ve a bad back.

The room was absolutely gorgeous and comfortable, spotless clean (very nice smell in the room), situated in the most beautiful neighborhood of Seville, Santa Cruz. Plus, at the ground floor we had access anytime to complementary coffee, tea, fruits, something to grab in the morning. Great value for money!

The window was toward the terraces and at evening it was a bit noisy, but we were enough tired to quickly fall asleep :)

Location is simply excellent - very close to everything, 15 mins walking distance to the bus station. Hotel and room was nice and clean and staff was super helpful. Check-in check out was super easy and smooth. Bed was really comfortable and the selection of snacks/drinks was simply great! I was afraid that it will be noisy since I've got a room next to the elevator, but it was no problem at all.

I did not like the fact that you have to come over from the other hotel's reception it was a bit awkward and I lost few minutes on figuring out what was going on, calling reception etc. The receptionist was super helpful, though - simply came around the building to pick me up instantly. I also felt that the bathroom was rather small - not a big issue for me, because I was there just for one night, but for someone who would like to stay longer or a couple it could be really a tight squeeze. At this price point it was a bit strange.

Clean rooms, friendly staff, great location in the city center, the hotel is so beautiful inside and outside. They just make noise after 9 am but not every day.

the view of the gardens , amazing and the location. I could walk to the cathedral and sorrow sing areas have late night restaurant and bars but it is not noisy. the staff was the best. there is always someone there. there is no risk of forgetting your code and not getting in, there is always a receptionist present. the rooms were nice, the cleaning staff was also excellent. we did not have her clean our room we just asked for toiletries and towels for our second day and they were so nice and accommodating. they have free coffee and drinks in the lobby, which we drank a lot of and were thankful for.

The room was beautiful and clean. It was very well located, in the city center. Everything is in walking distance. The room had every amenities. The staff was really welcoming, and the woman at the reception was really really nice, really helpful and always smiling.

But obviously because of its situation it is very noisy at night with all the restaurants and terraces around. There was also a smell in the corridor because of the restaurant downstairs. The bed was not that comfy.

Good location, close to main atractions (do not forget ear plugs, since it is close to busy street). Very friendly and helpful staff, e.g., Jose gave me advice about Semana Santa. Nice room considering the price.

Can be better cleaned (e.g. duvet had hairs that were not mine).
