Hotel Gran Sagitario

All personnel is really great. Amazing price for the quality of the provided services. Hotel looks new, or freshly renewed - it is perfectly clean. Spa zone is tremendous, it was essential for this time of the year (April)

There was only one issue (which was not even a major problem, but still) - why there is no door in the bathroom? I don't think too many people are travelling / staying alone in such hotels. So they will probably not enjoy doing their business in the presence of others. Also not convenient to go to the restroom during the night - I had to use the flash light of my phone and did not flush in order to not wake up my family. To me this is very strange, because there is enough space to put a door (even a sliding door). I've been to many hotels around the world but I have never seen anything like that.

Everything matched or exceeded our expectations !! Hotel is brand new,you can catch it at glance and the staff was helpful and polite. Rooms are spacious and well furnished with spotless bathrooms, fantastic shower and thick towels. Every room has a terrace large enough to accommodate 3/4 people. A fantastic pool contribute to build up holiday ambience. I strongly recommend to go for half board as the food buffet is simply top of the 🔝 !! fFresh fish and meat is ready to be grilled on the spot plus a plethora of a large variety of mouth watering starters and desserts make your dinners awesome. And to top it all …every day you find different paellas or “arroz negro” to complete the offering.

This is a really excellent hotel. No question. The staff are excellent, the rooms are superb and the hotel is spotlessly clean.

Possibly, the lighting at dinner. It is very bright with not much atmosphere.

The hotel is very clean and the staff are friendly. The pool was excellent and probably my favourite part of the hotel. Plus, I really like that they had a shower room available for if you had already checked out but didn't have a flight until much later. This way, we could use the pool the rest of the day and clean up before heading to the airport. The breakfast was quite nice - it is similar every day but there are a lot of options to choose from (e.g., you can even get an omelet made each day to your liking). The hotel had very chill vibes which was perfect for us. It is also in a very good location - Cala Santandria is a 3-minute walk away, the grocery store which is well-stocked is about a 5-minute walk and is where the bus stop is located to take you into Ciutadella (about 10-minutes). The bus is also clean, air-conditioned and cheap (about 1.70 Euro pp).

For me, who usually stays at boutique hotels rather than resort hotels, the appearance is a bit clinical. Maybe a mini-library in the TV room, some plants in rooms/the lobby and maybe some tasteful art in the rooms could improve the appearance a bit. This is all personal preference though and did not detract from the quality of the stay, it is important to say.

This modern spa hotel exceeded our expectations. We stayed in Sept'23 and had a wonderful time. The staff were very welcoming and professional - nothing was too much trouble. Our room (a junior suite, with pool view) was spacious and well equipped. We had a -relatively minor- issue with the A/C / temperature controls, meaning the room was often colder than we would have liked - that said, most other aspects of our stay were superb. The secure underground parking-garage proved very useful and we had no problem finding a space (in fact it was virtually empty all week). If you're looking for a well appointed, spotlessly clean and conveniently located base from which to explore the Island, Gran Sagitario is a great choice. Compliments also for a strong breakfast service with a vast array of options.

The ambiance in the indoor bar area could be better - it was brightly lit and quite clinical. Entertainment was quite limited - although, to be fair, our visit was off-season..

Reception welcomed us late at night with warmth. The room was cleaned everyday, spacious and comfortable. The facilities were immaculate (outdoor/indoor pool, breakfast and dinner buffet in which their menu changes daily). The staff were extremely friendly and so caring. My boyfriend fell ill one of the days we stayed and all the staff were so helpful and caring! They always asked if he was okay and if they could do anything for him. The chefs and waiting staff were so friendly and always chatted with us and gave us a friendly welcome each time we saw them. Location was perfect! Ciutadella de Menorca was a 5 minute drive and the hotel was close to very pretty beaches! I highly recommend this hotel and will be coming back!

Exceptionally helpful staff. Very good buffet breakfast and super. Beautiful indoor and outdoor swimming pools. Sauna and steam room were very clean. Great location with beach, walks and restaurants nearby. Spacious, comfortable, clean room with a lovely view. A very good family friendly hotel.

There was nothing that we didn't like. Two improvements could be: Opening the indoor spa pool at 8am instead of 9am. This would allow for a less rushed swim before breakfast. Putting a hook in the shower wall to mount the hand held shower. I didn't always want to use the large overhead shower / get wet hair.

The room was very comfortable and the swimming pool was incredible. The beach nearby, was also very nice and easy to access The staff was super kind and happy to support with suggestions every time we asked for them

A couple of times, the cleaning staff did not change the coffee cups which were used and we ran out of shampoo. Additionally, we would have preferred to have a king/queen size bed, not two individual beds put together Finally, the dinner buffet was not the best one compared to the breakfast or the lunch options The rest, very good

room was very clean and nice, spacious bed, beach was a 2 minute walk. the staff were lovely and very helpful lots of options for breakfast

the light in the bathroom shines into the room quite bright, can wake you up at night and no door on the bathroom, but I would still stay again.

I couldn't fault the hotel at all, it was new, clean and all staff were amazing

Pillows were a little too hard but that is just such a personal thing!
