Fragile Hotel

The hotel is modern, very clean and in a perfect central area of Ciutadella. The breakfast each morning was the best breakfast we have ever been offered in a hotel - 3 courses (!) of your choosing made fresh for you. The rooms were spacious and the bed was really comfortable. We had a lovely balcony too. The owners went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed and offered advice for local restaurants and beaches to visit. Location was great, only 5 min walk down to the harbour.

Nothing - only that we didn’t have time to eat dinner there one night as we heard very good things about the evening food in the restaurant! Next time :)

I had a very nice stay at the hotel! The hotel premises and room are beautiful, comfortable and very well decorated, it’s basically a boutique hotel in the heart of the Ciutadella. The breakfast is impeccable, extremely good. The hotel staff and owners are very friendly and make you feel at home. Also, they are always keen to share tips on how to best explore Menorca or provide insights that only locals have. I would absolutely stay there again.

Fragile Hotel is clearly a labour of love. Thank you to Sean, Mojca and the rest of the team for their hospitality, warm welcome and of course the exquisite hotel stay. From the morning chats with Sean offering invaluable local advice to the beautiful organic breakfast prepared by Mojca et al, we enjoyed every minute spent in the property. The team look and act like a family and it shows from how happy everyone is. I especially loved the artwork adorning the hotel walls, the polished concrete bathroom floor and all the amenities you would expect from a luxury hotel. The outdoor shower was a daily treat following a long day of exploring the island - this hotel genuinely felt like our own personal hideaway. We will most certainly be visiting again very soon! Would not change a thing.

The owners are extremely friendly and helpful, and they have created a wonderful oasis smack in the middle of the old town. The location could not have been better, the breakfast was excellent, and the vibe of this recently renovated building was super cool!

Breakfast was delicious and coffee was the best around! Sean and his team were incredibly warm and welcoming. Access was easy and location was incredibly central for Ciutadella.

Mattresses were too firm and the AC kept shutting off for 2 hours in the middle of the night; waking us with how hot the room got. Toilet was installed wobbly.

The stay at the hotel was wonderful and lovely. We were pleasantly surprised by the aesthetics of the hotel and amazing warm welcome from start by Sean and Mojca. Always helpful and gave advice on where to visit. Even helped us with booking some restaurants during peak time when restaurants in summer have been fully booked. Our holidays ended brilliantly and we were mad impressed during our stay from start to finish - we did not want to leave! Lovely breakfast, amazing room and everyone was warm-welcoming to us during our stay. Highly recommended! From Audrey and Katy

Lovely huge room with balcony overlooking courtyard and the cathedral, beautiful views, junior suite is very spacious and plenty of natural light, breakfast is amazing, lots of fresh local produce on offer like fresh fruits, bread, hams, cheeses, pastries and cakes, juice etc. Service is excellent, the couple that run the hotel are extremely friendly and chatty and love to give advice and help, breakfast service was great, clean rooms and common areas, perfect location a few steps from the cathedral, right in the heart of cuitadella old town plenty of bars and restaurants around.

Only thing is would be nice if bar was functioning in evening for a drink but due to COVID is closed right now.

The welcome from the all the staff at the hotel and insights offered by our host about places to visit was really helpful. Especially top tips about the local beaches. The breakfast was outstanding. Every effort was made to make us feel welcome and get the most out of our time in the city.

I would have loved some English breakfast tea in the room.

The location is perfect, very central. The hotel owners are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about the island. The food is delicious and local.
