Hotel Artemisia

Our stay could not be better. The hotel is so nice - it’s situated in the heart of the old town, it has everything you need, A/C worked perfectly while it was 42 degrees outside. Beds are comfortable, rooms are spacious and nicely decorated, breakfasts are better than you can imagine. I would return there just for a breakfast. If I could give a special award - I would give it to the team. They were so great! They were super efficient in everything - from helping us finding the parking over WhatsApp to sending us lists of restaurants and places. It was a pleasure to stay at this hotel. I hope to come back here. Thank you team Artemisia!

Location was excellent, staff were friendly, relaxed and very welcoming. Breakfast did the job. Hotel was amazing and smelled gorgeous. We had booked 4 rooms but we had the room with the terrace which was a great place to sit and chat (Family of 5 adults). I guess what would have made this room a top 10 if there was a little fridge or chiller to put a couple of beers or wine on chill - especially whilst enjoying the evening sun and listening to the chatter of the streets. Fab bars literally on your door step! Close to Sa Celeta if you have a car, also hired a boat from the harbour for 4 hours. Again very easy to do business 👌

Great location, very central and close to everything you need in Ciutadella. The hotel is very clean and well preserved in an old building. The room was a great size, with a comfortable bed and big terrace. The people there were really helpful and friendly, Marta was always on hand to provide advice on which cala's/beaches to go to, and was very communicative before our arrival via whatsapp. The breakfast was fine with lots of options, and they also provide beach towels and umbrellas which was great.

This is more advice to potential bookers rather than what we didn't like, as neither of these are in the hotels control....the nearest free parking for the hotel is a few minutes walk away. It's not really an issue and we always found a spot in the same area (Carrer De Lepant) but a couple of times we had to go around in circles waiting. Also, the noise can be a bit of an issue, not so much throughout the night but early in the morning. The bottle bank recycling was emptied early on a Monday morning which was pretty loud and went on for a few minutes!

Absolutely everything. We used Ciutadella as a city break and the hotel and room was perfect for our needs, situated on a quiet side street in a picturesque part of the old town. The staff were very welcoming, friendly and really informative. We followed some of their recommendations for food etc and were not disappointed. We only booked the small double but it was ample for our needs and felt spacious enough with a good sized bathroom, which had a separate areas for the toilet, then the sink and a big walk in shower. The rooms were very clean and modern but had a nice rustic feel as did the hotel. Breakfast was plentiful with a very good selections of fruit, meats, cheeses, bread and pastries and you could also order eggs to your liking

Isa and Marta were very close and friendly. They offered us a beach umbrella and even after-sun lotion. If you want them, they give you a list of recommendations of restaurants in Ciutadella, a map with most beautiful beaches and how to get there and a list of places where you can park you car for free. Breakfast included was incredible, with local products, pastries, biscuits, different bread types and toaster. I’m gluten free and they even had a GF toaster exclusive for coeliac and GF diet. They cooked you omelette or fried/hard-boiled/scrambled eggs if you asked for them. Coffee was available 24/7. The hotel was really clean and rooms as well. Nice room service. Will repeat for sure our stay there in our future visits.

THE BEST! The best breakfast, best staff and best location of any accom that we stayed in across a two month europe trip. It's a two minute walk to the bus station that takes you to every great beach on the island. It's close to all the best restaurants. The accom is so clean and the room is so compact. The robes and towels are so luxurious as well.

This lovely hotel has a load of charm and is located in the heart of the old town, just around the corner from the cathedral. The staff were lovely, very friendly and welcoming. Check in was very straightforward and the room was lovely, and very comfortable. The breakfast was good, buffet style but with the option for omelette, scrambled eggs etc. No swimming pool but the lovely Cala n Blanes beach is about 30 odd minutes walk away and a lovely place to spend a few hours.

Everything was simply perfect. Great location and structure but even more importantly the service was simply amazing. Artemisia hotel staff were absolutely amazing - helpful, kind and extremely nice. Breakfast was great too. We will come back for sure next year.

Everything about this hotel makes you feel welcome and at ease. The location is central, beautiful and still quiet, as it's just off the main walking street. Our room had a terrace, which was beautiful at any time of day. Breakfast had a great selection with eggs and crepes made to order. The room had good toiletries, linen, towels and robes. Our favourite thing about Hotel Artemisia was Isa and Ana - the loveliest and most accommodating hosts. Genuinely kind and helpful people providing warm hospitality. We left feeling like family and already planning our return to Menorca.

We took a taxi from the port but because the hotel is located at the heart of old town, taxis are not able to drop you off at the door. The drop off point is just a 3 minute walk away. Citronella candles on the terrace as the mosquitoes like to come out at night.

Everything - the friendly staff, location, the lovely room decor, comfortable bed, high quality bath robes and towels. Perfect. Location is right in the middle of everything which was great because it meant short distance walk to restaurants and bars we wanted to go to. Staff were super friendly and easy to chat to. They were very helpful when we asked questions about transport and directions etc. I would recommend this property to my friends for sure.
