Hotel Cariñena

Good location for our stopover. Big car park and felt safe to leave all your luggage in the car. Had a bar and restaurant always good so you don’t have to go looking for somewhere to eat. Nice menu del noches and good price. Comfortable room with good bathroom nice hot water ,good towels mattresses was a bit springy but good pillow! We also found a bit of English on the TV at night! No tea and coffee in the room but the bar sold everything ! Breakfast for us was a bit unusual as served in the bar but plenty of tostada with butter and jam or tortillas and sausage you could make a big roll with! Good coffee and served very quickly! We enjoyed our stay !

I can’t say there was anything we didn’t like!

We have stayed here 4 times on our and back further south in Spain. Rooms are a good size and always very clean. We love the authentic Spanish atmosphere. Evening meal very Spanish and very good value. Breakfast in the bar is great. Easy access from main roads and plenty of parking.

Only small point is the shape of the basin in the bathroom, as we manage to spill water over the top.

We arrived quite late, and were given a warm welcome, the room was a good size, spotlessly clean and we had a great nights sleep. Lovely coffee and croissant the next day. We can't rate it high enough and we will definitely stay again on our trip from France to southern Spain. Thank you Hotel Carinena!

Hotel was right off the motorway. Very clean throughout. Room and the bathroom were spotless and well appointed. Efficient Reception service. Despite language barrier we managed to check in with minimal fuss. Bar was very lively and atmospheric. Staff were friendly and helpful. We had breakfast in the bar in the morning. Good selection of food, good coffee and swift service. The ladies work so hard. We got a nice wave from them as we left. Check out was again efficient. There was a little discrepancy with the bill which was rectified with minimal fuss. Will definitely stay here again.

I personally found the bed a little too firm for my liking although my husband didn’t mind. I can’t get on with Spanish bolster pillows.

This is not a lower class hotel. Clean .friendly cheap.excellent evening menue well cooked. Also able to purchase exceptional quality wine that doesn't break the bank .free wify . Parking. Only 3 hrs from Bilbao . Will return .

Couple of annoying flies in bedroom ...due to the wine

Stayed here many times, ideal stopover for us enroute to the ferry port at Bilbao. Always given the same room, which we like because it’s near to the lift and we are made to feel welcome. The restaurant is particularly good, for your evening meal. Just €13 for a menu del dia with wine or water and includes tasty homemade choices. Very quiet location and peaceful at night.

We really like this hotel. It is perfectly placed, mid-way, betweend family and friends in France and our home in Spain. The hotel is very clean and the meals are very good value for money. We would recommend this hotel.

Our only criticism is that there are no tea/coffee making facilities.

Friendly welcome , excellent value dinner, interesting city. Great location and parking availability for the long drive from Santander to Valencia. For me always a great pleasure to stay here.

A little difficult to understand what is available for breakfast.

We have stayed here many time travelling from UK to Spain & back again. The situation is very convenient, the hotel is comfortable & clean as well as the owners & staff very friendly and helpful with a little English spoken. We have never been disappointed staying here.

3rd visit and didn't disappoint. Good location for driving to the Costa Blanca. Efficient staff, very clean and excellent 3 course meal in the evening for a great price. Love breakfast in the bar. Great Spanish atmosphere. Will staying again on the way back home in May.
