Hotel Aveiro Center

The hotel is clean and well maintained. The staff is pleasant and accommodating. It really seems that the staff is caring and tries to do whatever it takes to complete the wishes, we are thankful for that. The location is great, near to everything in the historical center, but the hotel is hidden between the small cosy roads, so there is no noise from busy streets. The breakfast is good, although I would appreciate some vegetables, because there were none. The freshly squeezed orange juice was awesome and both the coffee and the fruits were good. We made use of the hotel umbrellas every day, thank you.

There were no vegetables for breakfast.

Everything was amazing. The hotel was nothing special but they seem to have got everything just right. Plenty of extra bedding and towels, plenty of toiletries, tea, coffee and biscuites. Quiet location and yet only a few hundred metres from the centre. The breakfast was excellent very clean area and plenty of choice. One of the best hotels we've stayed at, keep up the good work.

I can honestly say there was nothing to dislike about this hotel. It's down a back street and doesn't look much, when I saw it my heart sank but what a nice surprise on entry and the staff where very pleasant and helpful.

Excellent room, really a suite level type of room - often "suites" qualified rooms do not match expectations, but this one did, large enough for a family of 4. Good breakfast, with a wide variety and good quality food.

Bathroom in the room was quite small, large enough for one person but only if the person is not too large. We are small, so it was ok for us. Entrance door to the hotel is difficult to open with two bags in the hands, the interior doors are automatic but the exterior one is manual, narrow and heavy. Should be replaced by another automatic one.

As others have said, the hotel is located in a quiet street just a few minutes away from the central canal of Aveiro. We easily found parking on the larger street leading up to the hotel (paid parking Zone B) and paid at the machine to be able to stay until the following morning. Breakfast was varied and plentiful, and all the staff kind and gracious. Rooms were comfortable with nice amenities.

It was located close to the city with only a 5 min walk. Breakfast was really good and room was well spaced (we were a family of 4)

The sound travelled and you can hear everything. The toilet door squeaked - but that is a minor thing. It’s a smaller place but we liked it.

Breakfast was simple but with great selection of local pastries, which were all excellent. The rooms are on the smaller side but of enough size for a comfortable stay. The location of the hotel is central to all the important town locations. During the night it is quiet.

The showers and complete bathroom could be updated.

Location, helpful staff. Aveiro very pretty city, walking along the canals, boat ride colourful gondola style moliceiros and tuk tuk tour to historical salt mining field. Visit to Museu de Arte Nova worth it.

Situated in a good quiet location. Easy to walk to plenty of bars and restaurants. Hotel had 2 parking spaces near by. Easy to park around the hotel cheaply if spaces were taken. Breakfast was very good. Bathroom excellent. Staff were helpful.

Minor detail was bed creaked a bit but otherwise nothing to complain about

We had a suite. It was excellent. with two settees in lounge area. Lovely large comfortable bed and excellent spotless bathroom. Good breakfast taken in dining room with excellent covid precautions ( everyone was given plastic gloves) . We have no hesitation in recommending this hotel .

Nothing. Parking 50 yds away could be a problem if get there at wrong time but we had none.

We were able to keep the parking card for the remainder of our stay. The parking was at the shopping centre.

I asked for late check-out but it wasn't possible. We had car problems and only arrived just past midnight.
