Quiet location; easy access to Aveiro (with a car: I didn't use public transport); secure parking; excellent breakfast with top notch homemade fig jam! Comfortable bed. Sophie is a charming and helpful host. I wouldn't hesitate to go back! Thank you for all the local advice, Sophie: I wouldn't have seen the porcelain museum without your input and spent £100 on a plate. Oh.....;-)

Only one thing springs to mind, but it in no way diminishes my experience - the bathroom floor was extremely slippery as it gets very wet when the shower is used, making a woman of my advanced years feel very unsafe. A curtain or screen would make an enormous difference.

Amazing host, beautiful house! You can enjoy the wonderful living room or backyard. We felt very welcome and at home away from home.

The room was situated on the street side of the house and that street was quite frequently used from early in the morning on. At night it was mostly okay.

Great homemade breakfast with homemade jams :) Beautiful and spacious house + garden, clean, available parking space, 6-7 minute drive to Aveiro center, comfortable rooms, the host was very welcoming.

A half-glass bathroom wall in one of the bedrooms would be better with dark curtains for more privacy.

Very nice breakfast with an excellent variety and the owner tries to match if you prefer anything in particular! The location is great. You are in between the beaches and Aveiro. All you need is time to visit everything. There is a big selection of ideas in the lobby.

Lovely place and Sofia is a wonderful host. The bedroom, bathroom and kitchen were perfect. The garden and terrace are nice to eat and relax.

The house lies 10 min by car from Aveiro in a quiet area. It’s her home that Sophie is sharing with you and that she adapted to accommodate a few guests. The breakfast features incredible home-made jams and coffee as much as you’d like. We were offered to use the kitchen and Sophie was very helpful with transportation. Check-in super flexible. The rooms (as the entire house) boast a strong, genuine personality with beautiful furniture and tiles. If you’re open to conversation, you’ll easily meet a new kind friend in Sophie. We would definitely come back.
