Mercure Warszawa Centrum

I was very impressed overall. For me, by far the standout benefit was the spa/sauna/gym area being open until midnight every night. Most hotels close those between 9:30 and 10:30, so after a long day out, you can't use them! It was great being able to be out during the day, then come back late at night for a spa. The main restaurant served very nice, traditional food at reasonable prices. The place was clean and the staff were all helpful. Location is also really convenient if arriving by train, it is just a minute or two walk through a shopping center from the station. Despite the downsides below, I'm still rating 10, as the nice spa/sauna/gym, at such a low nightly price, and being open late, makes any imperfection irrelevant.

The only two downsides were the wifi in my room was a bit spotty. Usable, but I work remotely a lot and turned to tethering my phone sometimes. Also the breakfast buffet (in a different area) was pretty good, but nothing special.

Location is superb (3 min walk from Warsaw's Central Train Station and about 20-25 min in a taxi from the airport). Staff were impressive at all time. Rooms, despite the fact that the hotel is in Warsaw's city centre, were very quiet. Breakfast was superb - more like five stars than four, really. There were both traditional Polish and continental options with some really high-end items, like a whole honey cluster (all delicious!). We also really liked the food at Winestone (plus the waiter and the manager who served us were really professional and friendly).

Interior is slightly dated. In particular, the bathrooms should be renovated soon. That said, all was very clean and entirely in working condition. In that light, the price, arguably, should be somewhat lower.

The location is definitely the most significant advantage of this hotel. It is very convenient that Złote Tarasy is right across the street, and Warszawa Centralna station is a few minutes walk away - this is the best fit for people who are traveling by train, or who has a one-day layover in Warsaw

Some furniture in the room needs renovation. I especially want to highlight the shower set that needs to be replaced. Also, even though there was an instruction on the air conditioner control panel, there was actually no way to adjust the temperature manually because the panel didn't work. It was possible to turn off the air conditioner only by pulling out the room card.

The location of the hotel is good, and about the hotel itself, it is more expected than received from it. I liked that you can fill up water from the device, both carbonated and non-carbonated, as much as you want. The children really liked the welcome gifts, the children were very surprised and happy. The breakfast was plentiful and varied and really very good, but otherwise, I would rate the hotel itself as very good.

During breakfast, the lemonade machine did not work, only still water and cold tea could be taken for the children, as a result of which the children were a little bit sad.

I booked this hotel as a present for my daughter birthday. During the booking time, I notified the hotel about the event and asked, if it is possible, to leave a birthday card (because I couldn't spend this day with my daughter). What can I say. It was just AMAZING! When my daughter arrived, the room looked absolutely amazing! Birthday balloons, fruits, sweets, birthday card! My daughter was so impressed, and I feel so thankful for all the hotel staff. Everything else was excellent as well. Lovely room, comfy bed, good breakfast, really good location. This is the place where you wish to come back.

It was said, that breakfast until 12.00. Unfortunately 11.30 it was already closed.

Good breakfast, tasty coffee. Really friendly staff, super comfy beds, a nice and quiet room even though it feels like in the most busy part of the city. Hotel is spacious, quiet too. Location is also amazing, very convenient to reach all types of public transport if needed, many shops and restaurants around the area. Also, a good parking in the lower floor of the hotel.

A personal preference - might have been good to have a couple of plates in the room. (however, cups, glasses for water and for wine were there)

The location is great for shopping - the shopping centre also much cheaper parking than the hotel almost half price, the train station old town a short walk away. Plenty of great restaurants in walking distance too... The room was a reasonable size, clean with all the standard Nespresso machine, wine glasses, robes etc. I really liked the no cleaning required sign to help the environment and no single use cosmetics & water dispenser with fizzy or still water is a really great move and juice a lovely addition. Food in the hotel was reasonably priced and tasty, the server deserves special commendation as despite being visibly shattered and it being late found us a table and gave us time to decide. The gym is very limited but has the basics and was clean and quiet.

I requested a city view .... Got view of building next door... In fact I doubt any rooms have good views so if want city view Novotel, the palace or intercontinental a better bet. Intercontinental gas incredible views with a gym & pool overlooking the city. Rubbish - no recycling bin, rubbish maybe sorted by hotel not sure.

I really appreciated the effort to go green: I was impressed by the water dispensers next to the elevators where you could fill up the water pitcher provided in the room

some of the staff at the reception is a little bit too rude, at least in English: I approached a staff member at the reception who seemed to busy to talk to me, he dismissed me & asked me to go to 'a colleague' - this happened to me on 2 different days

My relatives and I really had a very nice holiday. We got our room a little early than we should hd to, and we were happy because we had been travelling long hours, in additon we found a bit cold in Warszawa. Breakfast was super. My sister in law just noticed a little lack of cakes, in her opinion ( but for me was good because she has kind of diabetes and should avoid any kind of sugar stuff ) Nice Jacuzzi and sauna after long cold days spent outside visiting places. I could say everything worked well.
