the staff was very kind and tried hard to fix some issues that show up at the beginning of our stay

booking presented the offer as a 50% discount for genius but the actual cost of the room (on the hotel website) was exactly the same as the discounted fee. bad Booking.con. really bad.

I really want to highlight the staff, everyone was highly attentive and friendly, especially during breakfast service and at the bar The hotel is located close to the city center on the other side of the river in a quiet area The rooms are spacious, clean and modern, we had a beautiful river view Breakfast buffet was also nice with a variety of different foods

Even though the breakfast itself was good, the buffet area was really narrow, which made the experience a bit chaotic and noisy This is a minor detail because I didn't even know that the hotel had a gym before making the reservation, but the gym room wasn't too well maintained (Crosstrainer monitor didn't work, treadmill was out of order..)

Perfect location ! Old city is just across the street which makes it perfect location because it’s quiet, yet so close to the main attractions. Gdansk main square can be really noisy that’s why is better to choose this location than others. Breakfast was one of the best I’ve had, everything served there was really fresh and high quality. I highly recommend their spa for a massage. It was exceptional ! Daniel at the reception very professional and nice. Speaks good English and recommends the best attractions. Also don’t forget to use their boat cruse. View is amazing.

The hotel was well situated for all the sights and restaurants. Free boat trip up and down the river was very good.

Preferred to have shower in room and not a bath. Bath was too small to fit into for comfort.

My son and I very much enjoyed our stay at the Qubus Hotel in Gdansk and would happily visit again. The room was spacious and spotless, with great décor, crisp bed sheets, and a very comfortable bed and mattress that I had no issues with ( I am a disabled person , who recently undergone a spinal surgery ). The breakfast buffet was delicious, with a huge variety of options! The staff were attentive , incredibly welcoming, helpful, and went out of their way to ensure that we were comfortable. Nothing was too much trouble. Special thanks to Mr Damian for the warm welcome as we stepped at the hotel reception area and his everyday assistance with the stairs, help with the boat trip, and for all he did to make our stay memorable. I had a wonderful experience, and I would highly recommend this hotel to others. Thank you so much!

I had a nice room and found the restaurant outstanding, both for breakfast and other meals. Every evening I dined in at the hotel since the outstanding menu and great wine list offered so many possibilities. There was also an excellent health club and visitors should not neglect this facility. Trams 8 and 9 stopped very close to the hotel and three stops brought you to the main town tourist office and four to Gdansk Main Station. My suitcase was badly bashed on the inward LOT flights so the hotel did a great job wrapping protectively my suitcase for the return flights to Prague via Warsaw. This lifted my worries since Gdansk Airport has no wrapping facilities, other than selling you the material for doing the job yourself.

The only problem was that on arrival the taxi ordered was not at Gdansk Airport. However I blame the taxi company not the hotel and a quick phone call to the hotel quickly resolved the matter. I feel it would be better not to pre book the taxi but to phone the hotel on arrival.

We arrived with 6 motorbikes. They did not open the barrier of the parking lot until we declared that we would pay 50 zlotys per motorcycle/night for parking. The procedure was outrageous. The man at the reception said that we can park across the street for free and carry our bags from there if we don't pay. We didn't understand this pull-off because a car is parked in a parking space. We couldn't park in the designated parking lot for that much money. He crammed the engines into the middle. (Picture attached) As we know, 4-5 engines can fit in the space of a car. There was plenty of empty parking! Another motorcycle team was sold the disabled parking lot for 50 zlotys/motorcycle/night. (Image attached)

Great location, short walk across main road into the old town, free short boat trip that was definitely worth doing, great choice at breakfast, helpful friendly staff, had a problem with TV but soon sorted when we where out, iron and ironing board delivered to our room that we kept the duration of our stay.

Not really an issue but room attendant only came into the room once during our 3 full days stay and that was only because we told her we’d run out of tea and coffee, towels not changed at all either bur maybe that’s the norm in Poland for that length of stay. Water left in room but wasn’t clear if it was complimentary.

The breakfast and dinner were outstanding with very good quality produce and presention. The hotel's location beside the river was very pleasant - the terrace beside the river was lovely to sit on and watch the passing boats. The hotel provided a wheelchair during our stay which was really appreciated. We would definitely return to this hotel !

The stairs leading down to the riverside terrace were very difficult to manage for someone with restricted mobility.
