Q Hotel Grand Cru Gdańsk

Location. It was at the end of the old town which was great for being a tourist. Easy to reach most sights. Excellent staff. Very friendly and helpful. modern hotel. Very clean. Opening windows so you didn't have to rely on air con. Good bathroom and shower. Nice restaurant and bar in hotel.

Only one lift which was a bit dodgy during our stay. It stopped about 6 cm above floor level (real trip hazard) and had to be reset by staff once that we knew. Shared by cleaning staff so sometimes long wait in mornings. Location was excellent for old town but there is no public transport nearby so at least 15-20 min walk ( some on cobblestone) to train station or other areas away from old town. Really long desk and large sitting chairs took up too much room which made room seemed cramped.

We have stayed 2nd time and we can only confirm that it is nice hotel with helpful personnel, breakfast is very rich, rooms are big with comfortable beds. Highly recommended!

The hotel was perfectly located, 1 minute walk from the canal front, 5 minute walk to the WWII museum, 5 minute walk to the Westerplate boats and Ferris Wheel. Room was very clean and the cleaning staff were very friendly and efficient. Breakfast was perfect, a good choice of cereals, breads, cheeses, fruits, condiments, and hot foods and staff were very helpful and friendly. Desk staff always greeted you whether it be arriving back to hotel or going out for the day :)

The only let down i felt was that my room window was overlooked by several others from across the road, so felt I could not read my book or watch television whilst lying on the bed, or work on laptop on the units without the feeling of being watched so I had to have the blinds closed most of the time.

Great option for a calm accommodation in center of Gdańsk. We arrived quite late, with a baby and a lot of luggage and got help from the stuff to take everything to our room. Spacious room, comfortable bed and sofa, everything very clean. But the best part was breakfast - 12/10. So many options and great variety, also for vegetarians! They helped with storing our luggage for couple hours after check out. Everything was great :)

The only thing I could complain is that direct area around the hotel is not exactly pretty, however it's super close to some nicer streets (and thanks to that location is very calm at night).

Very nice hotel, clean, fresh, friendly and helpful staff, amazing location in the city center but just slightly off from the main street and the noise.

We wanted to visit the WWII museum after checkout before moving on from Gdansk but the Hotel had not facilities to hold on to our two bags during that time and we had to go to the central station and check them in at a baggage hotel.

Nice clean and modern hotel with helpful and attentive staff. really liked the rooms which were comfortable and spacious with really good showers. Great location, only a short 5minute walk into the centre of town. I would highly recommend. I won’t stay anywhere else when visiting Gdańsk after having experienced the Q hotel.

Quiet location a short walk from the main hustle and bustle. We were able to get an uber within minutes to go further a field. The rooms were comfortable and had everything we needed for a pleasant stay. Breakfast was excellent with an excellent selection of everything and anything you could possibly want for breakfast. We also liked that breakfast was until 11 am which added to the relaxed vibe.

No complaints.

Lack of English speaking channels, the pillows could be much better quality, the breakfast was OK but quite expensive and served in quite small pieces (but of course you can it as much as you like, so going more often to the buffet wasn't a problem)

The location is brilliant: it's at the edge of the action. First quiet street, 25 meters away from the riverwalk. Hotel to be reached easily by taxi. The breakfast is excellent, one of the best I've ever had. It's even more to choose from than what you can eat. Excellent, 5 stars. Nice brick building with a historic athmosphere.

In general, we have very little to complain about and would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Gdansk. Great location, comfortable and tasteful rooms, and an impressive breakfast buffet.

The air con control was unintuitive to use, but functioned well once we understood how to use it. The beds were comfy, though a little firm. The main issue was the way the buffet was arranged. Of course, we understand that Covid restrictions complicate things. Still, it would have been better to have the food behind glass and the waitresses behind the buffet so that you could get a proper look, instead of standing 5 feet away and pointing to your server what you would like. To emphasize, the servers were efficient and pleasant!
