Hue Hotels and Resorts Puerto Princesa Managed by HII

The room was spacious and clean. Food at the restaurant was delicious! They make their own bread. Even the ham and bacon were homemade. Staff were very accommodating. Good location in the downtown area, right next to Robinson's Mall, and only a few minutes ride to the airport. Will stay here again, the next time I visit Palawan.

Only 3 tables in the outdoor seating area. Mornings in Palawan are so beautiful. I prefer to eat breakfast outside in the early morning sunshine rather than in the airconditioned restaurant.

Location is great. They also serve nice food.

They should clearly indicate the chargeable items in the room like the water bottles that cost ₱1,600 each. It so happened we left it at the beach coz we thought it's a complimentary from the hotel. But was asked to pay upon check out.

- In room massage available, the masseuse were quite good. - Staff extremely friendly, take initiative in some situations to deliver beyond expectations - Location is quite covenient. Near Robinsons Mall and princesa airport (10mins ride from Hue to airport without heavy traffic) - has a Gym - they have a Tour desk that can recommend tours if u did not alr plan any.

Inconsistent service delivery. I.e. some housekeeping slower to deliver service, some are great. Do not expect any scenic views. The pool deck faces a chowking and bonchon restaurant opposite the road.

We love everything about HUE! The location is great, just beside Robinsons Mall and infront of Chowking and Bonchon. The look of the hotel exterior was really aesthetic. You can clearly see the rooftop pool from the outside. Our room was spacious. It even has a room for our two kids with bunkbeds and 2 lazy couches. It has 2 toilets and 2 shower rooms. Really a value for money. The rooftop pool has an amazing view, especially at sunset. It is kid friendly and even has a life guard on duty. It is also kept clean at all times. It has a gym and a spa too (which I enjoyed the most!). The daily breakfast were delicious, and it varies everyday. The staff were all helpful, accommodating, welcoming and kind. Our room was always kept clean by the cleaning staffs. They also make sure that the toiletries were changed or replaced everyday. All in all, we had a great time at HUE!

Amazing hotel, vastly exceeded my expectations. The rooms were beautifully decorated with lovely welcoming, soft lighting. The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable and the room was exceptionally clean. Stocked mini bar (not complimentary but still appreciated!). Lovely rooftop pool and bar, small but sufficient gym stocked with free weights, and cardio equipment. Hotel restaurant was good; decent food and breakfast included, excellent service from staff. We loved this place so much that we ended up extending our stay for an extra night. Lovely place to recharge for a couple of days as a couple travelling SEA.

Very small nitpick but the breakfast was primarily Filipino food, which was nice but not to everybody's taste.

Excellent hotel! Modern, clean, comfortable room and bed, nice rooftop pool with bar and spa, delicious buffet breakfast, helpful staff. Being able to book the underground river tour through the hotel was very convenient. I loved that Robinsons mall is right next door. We were able to walk there after breakfast. Also very close to the airport. It took less than 15 minutes by car to get to the airport.

Mildew on the shower walls should be removed

The beds are very comfy. The bedroom designs are modern & elegant. The overall design of the hotel is modern & elegant too. The buffet breakfast is very delicious. There are a lot of options to choose from. They have different dishes daily. The pool & pool area look elegant as well. The location of the hotel is just beside the shopping centre... very convenient. All the staff from reception, restaurant, cleaners & security are very nice, polite & friendly. I will definitely recommend this hotel to my friends who are planning to visit Puerto Princesa in the future.

Since the location of the hotel is not far from the airport, you should provide a free airport pick-up & drop-off to your guests.

All aspects of our stay is really good. All staffs are courteous, helpful. Food at the breakfast buffet are good, place is clean

When the electrical power was disconnected in the entire hotel on our first night, the generator kicked in, but the TV did not come back until the rest of our stay. Also, the air-conditioning did not work for few hours. We complained how many times at the reception about the TV, but, they were not able to do anything about it until checked out and we were not offered any compensation or incentives for not having availed watching TV during our stay. T'was pretty quiet and boring in the room and we can only surf the internet so much!

- pool has big insects (banggaw) - receipt was not given automatically upon checkout, I have to request it. - misleading information provided from a particular receptionist (200-250php tricycle fare) - inconsiderate Manager-in-Charge. This was when we requested for a short side trip (4mins. from hotel) before going to the airport.

* Check-in: slow; double charged for one of our four rooms (but resolved smoothly) * Double the average price of accommodations in Puerto Princesa (as of the date of this review), which would not be an issue if there were perks included besides the welcome drink * No explanation: One of four rooms reserved came with breakfast; the other three did not * Small rooms; beds could be more comfortable * Not a deal breaker but the plexiglass surrounding the pool needs to be cleaned or replaced; it obstructed the view.
