location and restaurant were great.

reception staff treated me like I was a second class because of the way that I looked, as I had just returned from 2 days camping on a remote island. 5000 peso security deposit is the largest deposit ever asked for by any hotel in the Philippines and I stayed at 5 star hotels in Cebu and Manila!

Extremely clean and comfortable. Great decoration. Close to the centre of El Nido Town.

The reception people weren't very good on check-in. They focused on highlighting how much we we would have to pay for fees and possible loss of cards; they haven't mentioned where the pool was or that we had breakfast included in our reservation. Also, they demand 5k deposit on arrival which is quite extreme. We were told we could pay with card but in the end it wasn't accepted. We were pushed to pay with cash (May not be a problem, but it was our last day in phillipines)

I liked the pool a lot and the room was fantastic. Honestly, It was a pretty good stay indeed! The Drinks at the Bar were better than I expected. Good location, very close to the town!

The A.C was very loud. The food was average and the WiFi wasn’t working well as expected. The View of our Room (311) was very bad, as we were looking at a wall.

it’s a well kept confortable hotel. it lakes the magic and uniqness of other places in Palawan. staff and facilities are ok, don’t except exceptional service.

Exceptional stay! Wonderful staff, particularly Girlie on reception who very kindly arranged for housekeeping & the restaurant to surprise my partner for his birthday! The towel display on arrival for our anniversary was amazing & the following day for my partners birthday was incredible! The restaurant staff were very attentive & surprised my partner with a birthday cake & everyone in the restaurant sang Happy birthday! Great location 10 minute walk from the centre! Lovely rooftop pool with nice view! One of the best breakfasts, we’ve had in 4 months of travelling through Asia staying just at hotels along the way (Shocked at the low scores as the buffet was super) 10/10

5000 deposit on arrival is a tiny bit excessive, but only a very small thing & wasn’t a big issue as we loved El Nido & Lagun Hotel!

We realy enjoyed an excellent breakfast. The best fluffy omlet in town. The staff was very helpfull and warm.

Breakfast was obviously not for European palettes. All we could eat really was bread and omlettes. After 6 days that wears a bit thin. The cornflakes became chocolate co ered on day 3, so that was them ruled out for me. The toilet that served the receptolipn area and dining room was out of order for the whole of our 6 day stay

Location- Its bit of walk from the Main town but still walkable to restos and bars. Room- Quite spacious and Small lounge close to Windows. I like the screaming burst of colors in the room. Beds- Had comfortable sleep which helps me enjoyed the rest of my vacation. Pool- Rooftop pool is quite a spectacle, gives you an unobstructed view of limestone karst. I had a good deep on day and night there. Food- Breakfast buffet had a good selection and never had a chance the menu were same from 4 days of stay. The ala carte food as well are fantastic. I highly recommend Bicol Express and Kare-Kare and Pansit As well. Staff - From Check-in, Room requests to Restaurant staffs. Hands down. They are really the reason I have the best experience in Lagun. They are very consistent in service. I can say comparable to Omotenashi of Japanese Customer Service.

Room Sleepers (even for Filipino size) wouldn't fit. Restroom - Quite tight space, wish they could have merge it with the Shower room.

the rooftop pool is a really good feature and the free breakfast through booking.com was also lovely

when we arrived we were given a room key and when we got to that room there was already other guests belongings in there. when we went back downstairs to querie it we were left waiting for some time and then eventually given a different room key and changed to a room that wasn't as nice as our original room, we also didn't receive an apology for this. also, the elevator was broken during our stay and we were on the 5th floor so walking up and down the stairs with our bags whilst this was all happening was a bit of a workout! for the price we paid we weren't expecting this sort of service. but overall it was a nice hotel just maybe not worth the money
