good location and very clean.

Found one of the men staff at reception to be extremely rude for no reason.

A good place to stay with comfy beds. super clean facilities. decent tvs with cromecast and the alarm clocks in each room was a nice touch aswell .small but very handy kitchen area. Decent air conditioning. Nice playground to chill at as well. Easy to get to from the main road with free parking out front of rooms and property (non road side) very flexible with how early you check in

When we arrived the guy at the front desk was very stern about us staying quiet so as to not wake up our neighboring rooms as we were coming back later in the night. we were respectful of that but the room across the court from us was still up drinking at 1030 when the quiet hours were 8:30 this was just our experience as a group of 5 young males who got there after our rugby game I don't blame the guy tho he's just trying to keep everyone happy

It was spotless - I've stayed in many motels/hotels recently and the clean conditions of this place was exceptional. We arrived late and the lights and heater was on - so welcoming. Loved the breakfast YUM! Wish we could have stayed longer. I randomly appreciated the vending machine too! Just felt like snacks and didn't want to drive anywhere.

TBH - I have nothing to complain about. I didn't like the fact that we didn't stay long enough to enjoy it better.

Very close to town

Upon arrival we were abruptly greeted with very strict rules as if we weren’t adults and had never booked a motel before being told strictly no parties or visitors and that we will be escorted by cops if so, it was sad to be categorised into what seemed like trouble making teens as I have booked with booking.com many many times.

Very comfortable accommodation, a few minutes from the lake. 10 minutes from the wharf and about the same from the hot beach. Very friendly staff and nothing was too much bother. Great breakfast either cooked or continental. Lots of local restaurants close by.

A lack of drawers in the bedroom to put small items in.

The property was located very close to an event that we were attending. on arrival, check in was easy and the room was super clean and spacious! The facilities were great for our whānau and staff were friendly. The continental breakfast was beautiful 🥰

The only thing I was a little confused by was it was meant to be pay on arrival, but they took payment before. No biggie however a little misleading. Other than that, no complaints

Room: spacious, comfortable, good layout, clean. The hedges placed in front of the courtyard facing windows is ingenious; keeps privacy but still filling the room with natural sunlight. Staff were friendly and owners were outstanding. Good people and very accommodating. Breakfast was a bonus. The location was awesome too.

Location, size of the place, cute place

Double bed was too hard, hurt our backs to sleep in it. Had to change to single beds, which were quite soft. Maybe a bit of updating with the beds and with the cleaning also. Found spider webs and dust here and there. Other than that, good place to stay

loved the location very close to the town centre, also loved the room for family and spa was amazing!! Loved the breakfast area was great 😊

The soul Le bed had an electric blanket but no socket to plug it in. I feel the double bed was moved from the room to the living area and two single beds put in there. Confusing set up especially when it gets really cold no socket to plug in for warmth.

We love staying at Acapulco Quality Inn Taupo and were delighted to receive a room upgrade this stay. Our check in was quick, efficient and welcoming and our accomodation exceeded expectation. Beds were incredibly comfortable and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We wouldn’t choose to stay anywhere else while visiting Taupo.
