Wow! All the special touches on top of an already perfect accommodation! We felt well cared for, like old friends. The extra large soaker tub was well appreciated after hiking the Abel Tasman. Quiet, despite being next to the road, with lovely little private patio and garden. Short stroll along the river to the grocery for dinner makings. Couldn't have been better.

We absolutely loved staying at this motor lodge. We stayed twice at the beginning and end of one trip and both rooms we stayed in were fabulous with little touches that made it even better. Perfect location close to the CBD, comfy beds, Tracey was a fabulous host, it was a great place to stay.

Excellent place with wonderfully helpful owners who could not do enough to assist. The rooms were nicely furnished with lots of thoughtful extras. They kindly stored our bags for us between stays and were a wealth of information. Really great place to stay if you’re in Nelson

very comfy bed and great location close to everything. staff were friendly. kitchenette was well equipped for what we needed. fantastic to have off street parking too.

our fault not the properties at all but just a heads up that not all the rooms have aircon. when we booked the room we didn’t realise it didn’t have aircon and we stayed in December with one of the days being the hottest on record for Nelson.

Large apartment, very quiet but still in an excellent location (5 min walk to restaurants) All very well furnished with a lovely patio area. Excellent attention to detail eg chocolates on the bed on arrival and refilling of coffee on a daily basis

Good sized room with good cooking facilities and utensils etc. Nice private outdoor patio to relax in evening. Great staff always friendly and accommodating. Parking available. Our room was serviced each day, hard to get nowadays at most holiday places. Great locatjon also!

One of the better ones and everything met our needs.

The location was very central, easy access to the shops and restaurants. The room was spacious and well set, the bed was comfortable. The tea/coffee selection was good. The host was friendly and helpful that made us feel welcome.

We did not like the shower very much. As there was not a shower booth with certain only, it could make the whole bathroom very wet.

This was not our first stay here. We returned because it is very central, comfortable and the owners take real care of the place and think about small details. The rooms are well appointed and the stay is perfect for our needs being close to central Nelson.

Generous room, within walking distance of main shopping centre. Overall rated very high against other South Island motel accommodation. Ticks a lot of boxes. Will be hunting this one out if/when we return. Thanks.

Complete luxury and value for money seldom experienced in our tripping around NZ. We are quite particular when choosing our accommodation but got it absolutely correct selecting Cedar Grove.

I find it impossible to pick any facet of the complex that was not first class.
