Hotel Milano

The hotel is close to the central station, only about a 15 minute walk away. We contacted them about a request beforehand, and said it was all okay. On sign in, they said that they may not be able to but they followed through and allowed it. It was nice to find a room with three single beds, as they're hard to find. It was also very spacious. Breakfast was included, though it is only a basic buffet with orange juice, croissants, yoghurt, cerial, and fruit. You were given a standard NFC key card but you also was given access to a website which allows you to open the doors remotely. I think this is a great idea if you loose your card and allows for easy access to it. There is a safe, a fridge and a coffee machine in the room and provided with disposable cups for hot and cold drinks. That was an added bonus.

The stairs are quite steep, it was fine for us but could be a challenge for other people. There are rooms on the ground and 1st floor so this may not be a problem anyway. The windows aren't very sound proof, but the curtains help with this. There was also a dent in the bathroom door, and some faulty pixels on the top of the TV. On sign in, I was asked to give a 50 EUR cash deposit in case anything happens to the room. I had cash for spending, but that all had to go to that deposit. They also asked for my card details for any other expenses. I do not see why they needed either of these as it was handled purchase through booking.com

Excellent location, just 10 minutes walk from Rotterdam Central Station. A very spacious room with a large bathroom - our room had both a shower cabin and a bathtub. The city center can be reached on foot - about 25 minutes, so it will not be a problem to go for a walk to enjoy the city and the dining options. Excellent value for money.

The windows of the room were facing the street, so until 11 in the evening you could hear the cars driving by, but if sleep comes, then these sounds do not disturb the night's rest.

The room is very well equipped and has enough spaces for the luggages. The terrace is a nice place to drink your morning coffee or tea (having the equipments in the room for that). We loved the painting of the Erasmusbrug and city skyline bedside. The light options were great for any type of activity in any moment of the day (even the bed lamps had two different light sources). Plenty options for the breakfast. Close to Centraal Station and near city transport stations. We enjoyed the experience at Hotel Milano!

Nothing to complain...

The 3 beds room we had was clean and well fournished, little fridge, kettle, coffee machine, tea, a strong box, a nice wardrobe. The toilet and shower were very clean. Beds are comfortable too. The breakfast is also good and with plenty of choices, you just need to get there early because after an hour there can be a lack of some product. The staff is nice and welcoming too. And a secure parking is available 3-5 minutes walk from the hotel for 13 euros a day.

The room was very big clean and modern with three single beds with memory foam mattress with a kettle coffee machine. the shower was clean and powerful and again clean. The breakfast was a fantastic selection of meat ,cheese,,pastries and cereals wiith juice tea and coffee Very clean again. thankyou for a lovely stay. will definately go back.

first impression when we went through the door were very steep stairs and looked slightly dingy carpet and old looking... dont let it put you off we were pleasantly surprised when we got to our room. probably fifteen minutes away from train station/shopping

I liked that it was quiet and could not hear any traffic. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. My fridge wasn't working in my room, so they kept my beers and water in their fridge and when I wanted them I rang and they brought it straight to my room. The bathroom was the cleanest I have ever seen.

My fridge not working. No netflix on tv. Mattrass kept sliding off the bed.

This hotel is amazing! The staff are so friendly and helpful. The room itself was superb, great facilities, clean and comfortable. The location is ideal for going into the city centre, just a short walk away. Lovely breakfast too. The next time we come to Rotterdam, we will definitely stay here. This is a fabulous hotel and we are so happy we found this gem!

This place was great. Our only regret is that we were not staying for longer.

A great stay! The staff was very friendly and the check in was really quick. The room was very comfortable and spacious for us + we really liked the bed. Be aware - if you stay here, they have the traditional steep Dutch stairs. It's part of living in the Netherlands, so be careful and embrace the climb. :)

The breakfast could be better. Most eggs, ham and cheese were eaten when we arrived for the last breakfast time. Kudos to the coffee though!

I've really liked the staff, and apart from the scrambled eggs part the breakfast was very good and everything was fresh. I appreciate the cleanliness and the fact that it is close to the central station, and close enough to the city center. Even though the room was small, it was good enough for a solo traveller. If I'd ever come back to Rotterdam, I think I would come here again. And last but not least, I appreciated the possibility to rent a bike for just 10 euros.

A bit too expensive for the size of the room, and I've felt the need for some scrambled eggs at breakfast but it didn't have any. Also, i could hear some loud sounds from underneath my room, I don't really know what that was.

Hotel was conveniently close to the city centre. The hotel felt quite small and cosy.

There are lots of steep staircases, so not good for older people. The view from the back is particularly untidy... but maybe lets you see behind the Rotterdam architectural facade.
