Holiday Inn Express Rotterdam - Central Station, an IHG Hotel

Great location, very clean, amazing staff, very nice rooms.

The only bad thing is the breakfast quality which is less than basic because the only cooked products are the hard boiled eggs and croissants. Each and every of the five breakfasts I had were the same: 2 types of cheese(rectangular thin slices), 3-4 types of salami type meats slices, boiled eggs, tomato and cucumber slices, 2-3 types of pastry, bread, cerealas, butter. A good breakfast improvement with scrambled, fried or omellete eggs, some sausages, bacon or any extra cooked/baked product would bring diversity and would make this place excellent. My breakfast feedback comes after my fifth morning when I was more than saturated of the same flat food and I decided to take it at a local nearby.

We had a fabulous stay. I mentioned casually to the check-in staff that it was my birthday and got a free drink voucher. During dinner, the kitchen staff also gave me and my husband free glasses of wine and surprise cup cakes (with a candle) to celebrate! The next day, the kitchen staff were also super helpful and courteous, especially when we needed to heat up the food we ordered from another restaurant. Special shout out to Ussama! We also loved that we found a big cot in the room, well prepped for our toddler, as we requested. Definitely coming back whenever we are in Osnabrück.

The rooms were nice and met the needs, great view. The breakfast was good too, however, it was a cold breakfast, hence, do not expect a hot breakfast as they don't do it. The location is a plus and is what makes it worth the money, however, it's 30 euros a day for the parking which is a dent in the pocket. I wonder why can't the hotel offer it at a lower price for people at the time of the check in, when 70% of the parking space was free. Could be a delighter for the customers.

The check-in experience was average, as one the guy looked like he was dealing with a bad day, while the intern (In training) on duty did a great job with a smile on his face throughout. If they fix the breakfast (Make it a hot one instead of cold) and maybe offer a discounted parking, it will be a no brainer for us to select this one again.

The hotel exceeded my expectation. The room is very clean and comfortable. It has essential items you need. The staff are very friendly. The location is awesome! The best I have to say. Everything is walking distance. If you are here for tourism reasons, it will be an excellent choice.

The breakfast is just ok, but it is normal for hotel breakfast buffets. The shower is not so strong and the temperature is sometimes not so stable. I can live with it for short stay. The sound proof can be better. My friend was disturbed in the early morning by the neighbouring room, for instance.

Dutch breakfast was great for a big change but i still prefer british breakfast so there are most great snacks and drinks behind reception which prefect for my supper on nights. I enjoy visit Cuba Houses and outside Feyenoord football Stadium in Rotterdam. I did travel to Baarle Nassue (most strange place border in europe) and Antwerp by Train also travel to some places part of my solo traveller in 2 weeks. I also visit the beaches on hook of holland.

Nothing for me say anything

Super location, close to the train station and an easy walk to the city centre. They were happy to store bags before check in time and after we checked out so that we could make the most of our stay in the city. Staff were very helpful with anything we wanted, map, directions, information etc. Room exceptionally clean and bed very comfortable.

Room on the small side and very little clothes storage but fine for our two night stay. Breakfast room small for the size of hotel and very busy when we were there (you choose a time slot beforehand but still very crowded). Breakfast only adequate.

location great. Room great. Could have had a bigger double bed but not an issue for 2 nights. I think yours are 5' and we prefer 6" wide.

The breakfast was a free for all despite attempts to control the times that guests arrived for breakfast. Shortages of food replenishment due to a lack of staff. Only 1 coffee machine which had cues and the coffee was only mediocre. No hot food other than boiled egg. The second day we were all on take away cups as they had run out of china mugs at 08.30 in the morning. What was there when you could get it was OK. We had a much better breakfast at Hampton at Hilton in Utrict which was included in the price. A much more relaxed atmosphere with 3 coffee machines and scrambled eggs and bacon as well as all the usual cold items. Given a choice we would stay at the Hampton rather than the holiday inn for the breakfast alone. Contructive criticism which I hope helps.

Location is in the City Center, close to the central station, with easy access to the popular tourist destinations and restaurants Room size is compact but comfortable, bedding and washroom are clean and tidy Parking is available that's easy for driver Free breakfast is good, and they offer early pack breakfast if need to leave very early. Great idea!

We got lost when we arrived by car, as there's no pick up / drop-off point in front of the hotel, and we're unable to load our luggage into a taxi that we had to do it next to the bus stop.

The room was good. The location is very good. At the beginning I had a housekeeper that I thought 'oh no not again, same thing as usually' (forgetting to do several things). But since I asked to fulfill the missing services, the rest of the stay I had very good housekeeping-service. So I can say that this hotel has improved a lot concerning housekeeping (good housekeeping is a real issue in Holland).

Exactly the same breakfast for the last 10 years. I don't remember if I used to have a refrigerator in the room; but with the current temperature, I missed one. I had an accident with an already broken chair that wasn't supposed to be used without repair: Actually they came fast to the room to change the chair. But that's it: it even didn't cross their mind to offer the guest anything. If I was the kind of tourist that sue for everything, they would have had a problem. That's a kind of "guest-treatment" that they still have to be taught.

The next room's door closing sound is too loud, so sound isolation from the hallway isn't good Some scrambled eggs would have been better at breakfast. There are small snacks and beverages being sold by the reception, but they have airport prices, better go to AH nearby.
