Telaga Terrace Boutique Resort

The pool area and breakfast were absolutely lovely - as were the staff! The location is on the road but it can't be heard from the rooms. The breakfast was really tasty and there were plenty of useful tips from reception about good places to go. They even have a Grab stop right outside the hotel entrance.

The bedroom walls were super thin so you could hear everything going on around you. The hotel staff were really keen to help, however - they changed our room twice! There isn't much around in the immediate, but only a short walk to the beach and to the main strip of bars.

During my recent visit to Langkawi, I stayed at Telaga Terrace Boutique Resort and I must say it was a wonderful experience. One of the highlights of my stay was the room, which was spacious and well-appointed. I loved the terrace where I could relax. The room was really big and bed was comfortable. The washroom was another standout feature of my stay. It was large and had a unique design that blended seamlessly with the natural surroundings. The swimming pool was the cherry on top of my stay at Telaga Terrace Boutique Resort. It was clean, well-maintained, and had a serene vibe that made it the perfect place to unwind and relax. Loved the breakfast which was served as well.

The location is a bit remote. So, you will have to walk 10-15 mins to reach the beach. Apart from a Family Mart and couple of restaurants, nothing is nearby. So, you will have to walk 15 mins to find the nearest Starbucks, McDonalds, 7/11, Bars etc which was a bit too much especially at night.

The rooms are lovely, staff is very nice and the pool is great for a quick cool down. We actually tried 3 rooms and all of them were lovely, especially suits with Jacuzzis.

The doors are not very sound insulating so you can easily hear noise from other guests. The location is not exactly near a beach or in town but it's still only a few minutes walk.

- very friendly staff; very helpful and serviceable - pool was nice and relaxing - roomservice every day - nice spacious room with a large bathroom - new water bottles on a daily basis - location is not in the middle of the center, but we liked that: the walk to the shops/most restaurants is 10 mins or so; the location is perfect for exploring other parts of the island using a motor bike without having to wade through busy city traffic - they got us a motor bike delivered to the hotel, which was really nice - we arrived really early, before our room was ready, but they let us hang out at the pool - very nice

The staff were excellent. The Chef discussed my wife's allergies and ensured she was catered for. The Nasi Lemak was prepared every morning. Having had Malay breakfast for 7 weeks I enjoyed the freshly booked English breakfast. You can also get snacks around lunch time, but we were always out. We had a pool view with a small sitting out area which provided added space. The pool was long enough for 5 breast strokes and a good plunge pool to cool off. There is also a children's pool. The rooms were made up everyday with clean linen, towels and toiletries. The beds were very comfortable, and the staff were quick to replace the pillows we found uncomfortable The staff also kept the outside areas very clean. The fridge was always on and fresh bottled water provided everday. There is a small mini market across the road and eateries nearby or 10 minutes walk to the Strip. The hotel is a few minutes walk from the start of the beach strip with a cut through from the road. You can also get to the river and follow the walkway to the very end of the beach and walk all the way along the beach. Be sure to visit the free rice museum 3 minutes walk away on the left. The hotel has a good vehicle entrance and a big sign for a grab pick- up.

The old plastic pool loungers need replacing and the newer wooden loungers need one more to make 4 on one side.

Nice room with a big bathroom and beautiful shower. Shower itself had not much hot water however. Bed was really comfy and all amenities were provided. Pool is not to big, but sufficient for all the rooms. Nice seating in front of room too. Staff is friendly and helpful and there is a cheap (but very good!) laundry service just across the street. Supermarket also across the street. Walking distance to center street is 10-15 minutes, but we rented a scooter for the entire time we stayed here.

Locations is nearby city center, so less crowded but also some travel time. Price however is value to money, so it didn't bother us that much. Shower could have been better with the hot water.

Good Location, exceptional price, and good staff. It's a good catch for couples travelling to Langkawi because of its location and price. Breakfast- Average breakfast with nominal options available, e.g. English breakfast, Malay breakfast. Pool- very well maintained. Comfort Room- For couples, it's comfortable if it's a double bed. We have been given two single beds underneath merged with one bedsheet :(

Rooms- No double lock is available unless you request them to provide the key lock for your privacy and safety and disengage the electronic master lock. Mosquitos in the room- The toilet is the pathway of mosquitos to the room—no prior notification was given by staff. Linked rooms exist with no voice privacy between both guests.

Featureless from outdide, but very cute and cosy inside. Symphatic and always friendly stuff. Stood there for nearly 4 weeks and would come back. Walking distance to beach.

The small things. Like others wrote before, 4 from 7 layers need to be improved. Preparing breakfast is to loud. You definately will awake. When they stackle the cups, they are ratteling loudly. An to cut ice every morning at 7 o'clock is to loud too. The breakfast Radio is an annoying loudly run programm with 40% talking, 40% commercials and a litte Part of music.

The rooms were a good size and yhe beds were comfortable The staff were very friendly and so helpful for our whole stay The pool was nice, shaded and very clean Coffee was great in the morning

The rooms are situated in a quadrangle around the pool and dining area. Breakfast is served from 7.30am so the noise from food preparation and people gathering means that you can not rest in bed past 7am if you are a light sleeper. Breakfast selection is very limited. All fried, eggs, sausages and american style. No vegetables and not great for vegetarians. Would like yoghurt, fruit, muesli and something a little more healthy. There us a seating area outside each room which is a nice touch but not when people stay outside talking until 3am as the noose travels and echos around the building.

EVERYTHING! We had an amazing stay in this gorgeous little place. Staff so helpful and friendly, nothing was a hassle for them. Rooms, pool etc: were spotless and the outdoor seating areas were super comfy. Breakfast was always tasty and served quickly so you could get out and make the most of your day! Great location, with a supermarket across the road (that literally sold everything) and a 10 minute walk to the beach and main strip. We loved our stay here and couldn't recommend it enough!!
