Excellent breakfast, comfortable room, and great facilities! The staff was also very friendly and helpful.

We were upgraded to a junior suite from studio beachfront at no cost by the hotel, how thoughtful of them since it was our wedding anniversary getaway. The four post bed proofed its soundness, the bedding was clean, smells great & soft, slept really well too. The en-suite bathroom was very spacious & clean. Highlight was the crew, they showed exceptional hospitality skills & their thoughtfulness was genuine from day one to the last day, even see us off as we sadly leave the hotel. I'm definitely coming back just because of the crew treatment & hospitality.

Lots of towels, hangers, private garden, free cookies, coffee, DVDs to borrow, books, super friendly and attentive staff, toiletries from their spa, wooden interior and furniture, coffee machine in the room, consistent house keeping, delicious and extensive alcoholic drinks menu, beachfront dinner, their fat cats, their spa, hotel design, walks away from food, duty free shops, spas, bars, beautiful Sandy beach and sunset, nightime a few walks outside for star gazing. Just perfect perfect place for a vacation.

The rooms are so cozy. It's the little additions - hot cocoa, turn down services with essential oil lamp, bath salts - that make it so special. The staff was very friendly and the food is delicious - awesome breakfast.

In terms of a location in Langkawi, I would rather be on a more private beach. However, on this particular beach it's almost as private as you can get. We were disappointed in such a large corkage fee - almost more expensive than just buying a bottle from the place. People come to Langkawi for the duty free.

We hope this is our first stay of many as new residents of KL. Felt like home the moment we arrived. Very clean room with full range of toiletries which is great when travelling with carry on only. Breakfast was amazing and the roti canai was a standout. Service friendly and super efficient. Location perfect for us. We love the walking access to the heart of town for amazing options for lunch and dinner. Dinner at resort also amazing with sand in our toes overlooking an incredible sunset. Our room was an oasis with our own lounges to take in the views. We cannot wait to return.

Would love to come back with our teenagers however there are no rooms suitable for 4 and will need to book two rooms which will make it a bit of a stretch for the budget. Nevertheless we will return!

By the time we finished our welcome drink we were checked in! This resort is about service and quality. The breakfast set up is good with freshly cooked options, there's a great sunset bar next to the beach and dinner on the beach is a signature event at Casa Del Mar and well worth experiencing. Very romantic! Staff keep you hydrated while you are relaxing by the pool and the beach, Pantai Cenang, is glorious fine white sand. The reading area with computer/printer and free coffee is a nice idea and the spa gave us enjoyable massages to help with our relaxation.

The resort opened 20 years or so ago, so although it is well maintained, and a joy to experience, there are minor defects here and there creeping in. In our room the sliding door to the patio did not slide so well any more and needs maintenance. Also the cabinet hinge to the fridge was broken and needed to be fixed. But overall the room was great.

Breakfast was well serviced by friendly staff and was very good. The bar was a focal point for socialising and well staffed. The pool was a little on the small side but the sea was another option for swimming. Our room, a junior suite, was very roomy and well stocked daily with water and fruit. It was a delightful stay overall.

The only negative for us was having to walk through reception to access our room outside. It was inconvenient when it rained to do so and not ideal to go through reception when guests were being booked in.

Beautiful location and facilities. What really made this trip were the staff who were, to a person, exceptional - never have I felt so welcome in a hotel. The room was comfortable with everything we needed, the in-house restaurant and bar were great, but with lots of other options close by. Can't recommend this place highly enough - felt high-end but without the slightly clinical feel of a resort.

Some things could be updated e.g. TV in room, might be nice to have the option to rent mopeds directly from the hotel. Minor things - gilding the lily rather than necessary.
