Langkawi Seaview Hotel

Not the newest hotel but with class. Wonderful views from the window, everyday cleaning, wireless kettle+tea and coffee, minibar, comfy bathroom and very spacious room with a lot of drawers and wardrobe to store your stuff. Last but not least, very friendly and efficient reception staff.

If you are lookimg for beaches, neither Kuah nor this hotel are a good address, but you can enjoy peace and quiet as there are not many tourists there and there is always a taxi available.

The view was spectacular. The bedding was very clean and comfortable.

When I first arrived I had to ask for them to come and clean the floors. They quickly came to clean the floors with a broom only, so I had to ask for them to mop and I had to show them the dirt of why I was asking. She mopped, but it was not very good, so I just settled. I have been traveling around the Asian countries for 7 months now, therefore I am no snob was it comes to cleanliness, but for the price and the staff they have they can do better.

I got the room that was facing the sea and it was amazing view. I get to watch fireworks from my room on new year!

I found there’s few dirty spots on the bed cover and sometimes there were few cockroaches in the toilet :(

We stayed here for 3 nights and this is the 2nd stay here. The property is located in Kuah town and all amenities are close by . All staff are very helpful and room was very spacious . The housekeeping is exceptional. The room was cleaned timely

The bathroom is a little small . During checkout the hotel didn’t provide an official receipt. They ask me to request from Booking.Com

Initially after booking a room at this hotel, I was abit worried reading the reviews it had on Google. But I can assure you that those reviews r plain lies. This hotel room was so clean n made our stay so much more comfortable with all the small considerate touches in the room (tissue boxes available in 3-4 different spots, coffee n tea packets replaced daily, hairdryer n ironing board provided in the room). We got a small balcony with a lovely view of the sea. The staff were quite friendly n helpful. Nothing was missing from our bags after room cleanups unlike how the Google reviews stated. They allowed us to checkout late at 5pm for only rm10/hour.

Only 1 lift was working so it took some waiting to get upstairs n downstairs. The breakfast buffet is quite limited, not much of a variety, mostly Malaysian cuisine. There's no egg station, which is always my personal favorite in a hotel breakfast buffet. It would be nicer if u guys could improve on your breakfast spread.

My room was at the highest floor which have a nice city view. Room was clean, they did the room services daily. The room have fan and air-condition which is good for me and my partner. Daily breakfast they change menu everyday which is good for those who stay for a long period of time. Overall it was good value for money. Highly recommended.

Shower water was quite slow but I can live with that. Unstable network. My tv remote got some button malfunction. Breakfast could improve to have a better selection of foods.

The view was very beautiful, the breakfast was good and changing everyday. The bed is comfortable and the service was good everyday. Helpful people. The swimming pool was so good and clean.

The toilet was not clean enough. And the location is not the best with some dogs around the area. And the area is not livable as other places.

Everything. 1 km from the ferry. Kuah is a town with a night market etc but it's not a beach resort so quiet if that's what you want! You will need to rent some wheels from the hotel or use taxis. A GRAB to Tanjung Rhu beach was about 30 Ringgit. Dont miss the SktCab and Sky Bridge. The hotel was exceptional value. Big, bright rooms, great views from the balcony. Helpful staff.

The shampoo! It smealt like mouthwash!!
