Hotel Grand Continental Langkawi

The staff did everything possible to make it a nice experience.

- WiFi didn't work well. Extremely weak signal in the room and poor download speed. Video calls were impossible. The system needs a redesign. (Staff installed a WiFi router outside my room to improve the service. Full credit to them for effort.) - AC control up at the ceiling and I needed to climb up on a chair to adjust it. Not safe especially when you get out of bed at night to adjust. A safety concern. (A credit to the staff. They found an old remote fit me.)

- Excellent service attitude by the staffs, very friendly and welcoming - Special mention to the restaurant staff, very kindly and specially prepared extra food for us and also offered to prepare special food on our last day - Fast response when room service is required - Good value for money - Good location - Hotel room (minus the bathroom) is very nice and comfortable

- Only one key per room, very inconvenient - Lift is due for upgrading - Corridors due for upgrading, very poorly ventilated - Toilets due for upgrading, worn out and dirty - Utensils provided at restaurant needs to be cleaner

Food was delicious, local taste,nice

Pool was not well cleaned at bottom

Although it is an old hotel but well maintained room, clean and parking is available. Nice scent with the humidifier, always smell fresh. Room has mini fridge, iron is available, kettle with coffee and tea so it's enough to get by. Room service dishes though limited but reasonable hotel price although the dishes offered are all local dishes. Can have breakfast at the hotel restaurant too. The shopping centre is just walking distance and there's a number of eateries nearby. This is not the first time staying and will stay here again if I have to go over to the island again.

I hope the water heater works faster, it took awhile to get it to the right temperature but it is just a minor thing. Not really an issue as the water heater for shower does work.

the staff are very friendly and very helpful all the time. I’m regards cleaning for third floor during our first few days there was a girl always on time and cleaning room makes stay very comfortable.staff at breakfast area and reception also very kind helpful and give us all travel related or tour around related info . overall they have amazing staff my mom like them .

the WIFI is not working and swimming pool needs cleaning regularly.

1) Strategic Location near to Jeti Kuah. 2) Ample parking to park your vehicle. 3) Near to Langkawi biggest shopping mall (Langkawi Parade). 4) Many restaurants nearby. 5) Near to the chepest duty free shop (TS Duty Free). 6) Competitive pricing.

1) Pillow is not so comfort. 2) Room lighting is not enough.

It’s really nice and clean hotel. breakfast was delicious specially roti chanai and last day check out breakfast ( very special)hotel give us early check in and let check out there is no extra charges .witch is very appreciated. Kids are happy there swimming pool we stay 8 family members with kids hotel manager and staff are fantastic.good house keeping .we will come again inshallah. Thank you

A very wonderful place, really friendly and helpful staff..a great level of cleanliness, beautiful views, and the room is very, very spacious..I really enjoyed it

No thing but The pool water is dirty

1. Recommend to book the connecting rooms for grouping sessions at night. 2. Hotel staffs are impressive with service oriented attitudes and personalities. They attended all requests with cares and supports. 3. Very reasonable price at a very strategic location to travel around the Island.

The aircond was a bit of an issue. It took a really long time to get cold
