Bella Vista Waterfront Resort, Kuah Langkawi

The room is very spacious and huge. The toilet and bathtub is also spacious and huge. I really enjoy my stay.

There's noises in the room at night. But should have more lighting at the corridor when entering the room.

Everything! From the moment we register for check-in & return the card for check-out, everything is amazing! Thank you to the team for the surprise room upgrade & hospitality that we receive throughout the stay. We wish to come back in the future to see more improvement from the hotel, can't wait!

To be honest, everything is already top notch but it would be better if the hotel can double-check the cleanliness of its towel, bath mat, bedsheet & cutleries. I love the food here, especially the nasi lemak & bihun goreng was so delicious. Others are pretty much decent but it would be great if the hotel can offer more varieties of food/breakfast.

The staffs (front desk, housekeeping) are very helpful and friendly! Can feel they serve with heart. They are the most valuable asset to the hotel. Had so much fun at the waterpark.

The hotel is dated and many hardwares need to be renewed or upgraded.. the room I stayed should be renovated recently should it’s fine but most of the facilities and some furniture are really old. Given the price it is acceptable for me. Breakfast - big No. nth to eat, the coffee is bad too….you can skip it.

Room was excellent with great views overlooking the sea and pool. A large room with plenty of space. The staff were excellent and really looked after us. Very friendly and extremely helpful. Special thanks to the following for making the stay so enjoyable: Dee/Suwardi, Fitri at the bar, Fitri in F&B, Aqil, Yogesh, Najib, Amirul, Azimah, Noraini, Dzaki for driving us, Faizan and the ladies on the desk Azila and Fatin. Sorry if anybody missed so thanks to everyone else too. A great team.

Choice of food could be improved, especially for breakfast. Having stayed before pre-covid, it wasn’t looking as good and had lost some of its sparkle - possibly down to staff issues the same as everywhere else maybe? More attention should definitely be made to wiping down the breakfast tables which were not always clean.

My partner and I stayed for 5 nights, the room was nice but there was a loud noise above us every night, it sounded like plumbing issues which kept us awake in the middle of night. The best part of our stay was meeting Dee from the bar. (I hope the boss/manager is reading this to acknowledge his work ethic and to forward our compliment to Dee) he is such a friendly and hard working guy, he can make any drinks you desire off the menu, he made a cocktail of his own recipe for me and I LOVED it. I would spend a lot of money for his drinks. We always look forward to seeing him, he is definitely the highlight of our stay in Langkawi this man deserves the appreciation and employee of the month all year around and because of him we rate Bella Vista 5 stars. At the end of our stay we are now good friends and plan to meet up again. Bella Vista needs more staff like Dee. He is the man. We will be back!

From start to finish the hospitality was Exceptional especially from Ibrahim, he made sure to make our stay as comfortable and as enjoyable as possible and we have to say a big thanks to him for that! Location right in Kuah Town only a quick grab from everywhere and the waterpark is basically on site with some fantastic slides and fun for the day. The room was very spacious, really comfortable and great views with a lovely overhead shower. The air conditioning in the room worked really well and had the room cold in minutes. There is also a pool that we didn't use open long hours and some great pictures to be had.

The water was unclean and when we tried to fill a bath the water would be a brown/Yellowish colour even after a full clean out and refill. The breakfast could have been better was just average standard. One of the bath robes had a massive yellow stain on it which wasn't nice

Everything was exceptional. Since I was travelling for work, WiFi available for most of the time, the speed and coverage were good. The staffs were very attentive, friendly and helpful. They changed our towels and bed sheets. The room was very comfortable, the water park is very huge, and fun. We got free entrance for the Splash out water park. My son enjoyed himself all the time during our stay in Bella Vista. The variations of breakfast were very impressive and delicious too! I think Bella Vista is very underrated. Nothing to complain.

We can only describe our experience as exceptional. We chose the Bella Vista in preference to a high rise hotel because of its character and Colonial style. A great choice for us. The rooms were spacious with well appointed bathrooms, great air conditioning and facilities. The pool and bar area were a fantastic place to enjoy the views and relax which we did most days. Reasonable prices and superb bar service. The breakfast had a great choice and suited all our needs. The special hotel rate for water park entry was really appreciated and useful. The greatest asset to the hotel in our opinion was the quality of it's staff. Always helpful,polite, cheerful and ready to assist at all times. Our special thanks to Dee Suwardi the pool bar Manager who personally made our time by the pool such a relaxing experience Also Mr Ganesan the Resort Manager who was able to accommodate a slightly later departure to help us with our onward travel. We would definitely return to the Bella Vista. Many thanks to you all.

We would not change a thing

The hotel is lovely, beds super comfortable, clean and big rooms, bathroom is perfect with a separated shower (hard to find in Asia). Great location next to a water park which you can use at a discounted rate. The staff are superb especially Dee at the bar by the pool. He works super hard and is very friendly and happy! I would recommend to anyone.

Thank you to all staff for providing good services. The receptionist very welcoming, explaining info in brief and concise. The staf response regarding technical issue also fast as we were having problem (black out) in one of our room. The food and drinks (dinner) also great! Worth the money. The view while eating during sunset was splendid and beutiful. They also providing welcoming drinks to us. Infact, The Splash out (theme park) is so near and we also get discount as we were staying here. Hoping to come here again

Although they provide ironing room each floor. Its quite far to those stay in other wing. Otherwise, everything just fine.
