Saraishyq Hotel

You get what you pay for, you booked a budget hotel, don’t go there with too many expectations. The reception staff are polite. It didn’t meet our expectations but that’s our mistake for booking a cheap hotel.

Not sure why the pool usage is charged additional for resident guests. The breakfast is adequate if the items remained available but there is a problem with refilling the buffet. Weekend breakfast timings are from 8am to 11am but at 10am itself they stop refilling and you are expected to serve the leftovers. The waiters said the kitchen is not preparing more food, a complaint at reception also didn’t help as the breakfast remained empty. The location is in some suburbs residential area, nothing around except local stores.

Very big comfortable rooms. Free airport pickup. Very helpful staff . Always greeted us with a smile . Rooms are spacious and have a very rustic feel. Clean . Great breakfast with lot of Kazakh delicacies . The hotel has a great restaurant outside and a superb cafe with Great coffee and desserts . There are enough shops outside for basic shopping . This is also not very far from the airport.

The hotel is located away from the centre in a not so upmarket area . It takes about 20-30 min to the city centre . Nothing much to walk around and see.

Very pleasant, with desined and beautiful yard, professional friendly knowledgeable staff, speaking English very well most of them. Hotel is clean with air conditioning in every room, breakfast is nice, definitely will advise and visit again, Thank you all We will advise to use yandex taxi as it was very easy and cheaper way to travel around

Only beds are too narrow and soft, less double beds, if they change to harder wider mattresses it would be perfect hotel to stay away from city crowd and traffic

I chose the hotel as I had a day of recovery from hiking and wanted an outdoor pool. I was surprised by the size of my room - huge with a sofa, big double bed, and had slippers and robes for use. The bathroom was modern and the shower lovely and hot! Staff were very helpful accommodating - I requested a late check out which was given and also assisted with ordering taxi for the airprot. Breakfast was adequate, with choices of eggs, hot porridge, fruits, breads. The pool was perfect but only opens at 11:00am which is a little late. But towels were provided free for use by the hotel.

The pool could open earlier than 11:00 especially for hotel guests. Breakfast could have a little more choice.

Excellent hotel in the neighborhood of Almaty! The room was very large, and very well equipped, and the bathroom as well. The room was not ready when I arrived and I was given a drink in a comfortable lounge while waiting. The hotel booked a taxi to the airport (4am) and paid it for me, even if I proposed to pay it myself. In summary, an excellent hotel, top service where I felt welcomed and I will certainly stay again if I come back to Almaty!

It was a short stay (arrival in the afternoon, departure at 4:am), so nothing to point out.

We stayed 3 times across June/July 2023. Each time we encountered helpful friendly staff, good left-luggage facilities, free airport transportation, and A/C. Fridge was a nice touch to keep drinks cool. Guests using pool facilities were clearly enjoying themselves.

The AC was directly over the bed, so it was difficult to keep the room cool without getting cold air blowing on the bed.

The hotel is nice, simple and clean. The room was very big with a nice sitting area and spacious to manœuvrer suitcases. The staff were friendly and helpful and the hotel in general clean. If available they have a free taxi service to the airport otherwise they help you book a paid one.

There's too much light coming in from the front window where they have lovely lighting decorations so I suggest installing a dark blind.

Amazing price, warm pool outside, great restaurant, spacious and cozy room

Just little suggestions: add some small side lamps next to the bed and fix the changing of water temperature in shower - it was randomly jumping from cold to hot Othervise it was a really amazing stay!

Overall ambience of the property...in the attempt to retain it's 'rustic' look and charm, the property starts giving the feel of a 'boring' old property ...thus, it needs to be made more lively, with certain changes also required to be made in the rooms to make them more modern and relevant

The friendly, helpful and cheerful Kazakh staff :) The room was super clean! The towels were sparkling white) The breakfast! The restaurant. The lounge. The pool.

Too many kids in the pool( The pool's opening hours should include morning hours too( The bed can be softer and the pillows can be smaller/memory foam.
