Hyatt Ziva Rose Hall - All Inclusive

The property was beautiful. I love the layout of the buildings. The grounds are breathtaking. it made me feel I was on a paradise island. The staffs were exceptional kind and pleasant. I love the pools and the beach. The room was immaculately clean and beautiful. The drinks and food was on point. I had an amazing time.

The only thing I was missing was dancing. After the nightly entertainment show ends at 10, it would have been nice for a DJ to play some music for the guests to dance. Not everyone is interested in only drinking at the bar. You could have a reggae night, a Latin night, an oldies night, a hip hop night, a Afro beat night, a calypso night. And have it by the pool, next to the Calypso restaurant. I think the guests would love it.

We have been to Jamaica several times for vacation, and the experience at the Hyatt Ziva was my favorite. This resort has everything you expect in a vacation. The facilities were clean, comfortable and well maintained. The food was excellent and the staff was friendly and highly professional. The entertainment was awesome … live nightly bands, Jamaican food festival, beautiful lawn dinners with live entertainment. It was absolutely awesome … we can’t wait to return!

We had a wonderful time at the Hyatt Ziva - the hotel has a great location (~10 minutes from Montego Bay's airport), and the property and gardens were beautiful. For adults, having the option of using all of the facilities, bars and restaurants in the Hyatt Zilara next door is an added plus. The gym was set over two floors, and by far the most comprehensive hotel gym I've seen. Food at all restaurants was great (we tried the Seafood, French, International and Caribbean restaurants for dinner), with a wide variety of options - the jerk chicken hut by the pool was a particular highlight. Definitely book evening a la carte restaurants as far in advance as possible, as a few times the restaurant we wanted to go to was fully booked when we enquired the day before. All of the staff were incredibly helpful, friendly and accommodating, and definitely made it feel like a home from home/

Our room stayed very cold, despite us trying every setting on the AC. We were barely in our room during the day, so it wasn't much of an issue, but it did mean we had to use extra blankets for sleeping at night (despite it being 25C+ outside). Whilst it was great that there were a wide range of activities throughout the day, it could get very loud by the pool and beach, particularly in the afternoon - something to be aware of if you're expecting to be able to sit and sunbathe quietly. The buffet restaurant, which we ate at for breakfast and lunch (and also offers dinner), wasn't yet self-serve due to Covid protocols. Whilst this is understandable (and not the hotel's fault), it did mean there could be long waits for some items.

We love how it was all inclusive. The location was beautiful. Great value.

Some room features didn’t work (AC/Heat control, electric outlets out of wall, etc). Some staff members were friendlier than others (two front desk receptionist were rude).

two things we didn’t like was that the outside entertainment at night is super loud and goes until almost 10pm so if you want to put your little one to sleep earlier it’s very hard as super loud in our room that was facing it. Also although the food was excellent. we didn’t get to try two of the restaurants between the two resorts because there isn’t a good booking system, and people are lining up for hours ! it was a bit silly and frustrating as we really wanted to go to the sushi and Asian restaurant, they need to just do time slots you call ahead and book like normal restaurants.

The breakfast was very enjoyable, we enjoyed the variety at choices and the customer service was a full 10/10. The manager and staff of the restaurant choices were exceptional. The manager that goes by thr name Latoya was very pleasant and took the time out to hear our compliments of her staff's great work attitude. Other staff were Olivia and her co worker they assisted me in getting my room prepared for my girlfriends birthday which they were not obligated to do. These ladies allowed me to feel like i was a part of a family rather than a paying guest at the resprt. I fully appreciate the help and hospitality that we were given at this resort. The experience was amazing.

We were told that the mini bar in the room would have been restocked at a certain time during the day and it wasn't.

Rooms: comfy beds, large bathroom, great shower, fast room service Breakfast: we only went to Choicez - basic every morning with an american option, jamaican option, cereals, eggs and fruits. Always tasty. They have 3 egg stations so the wait time is not long at all Restaurants: easy bookings, excellent waiters - helped with menu options and our choices and checked on us momentarily, great liquor, clean, fast time from order to meals on tables, Beach: clean, great waiters Shout out: Ruschel (Di Roza), Nakesha (Petit Pariz), Damion (Di Roza), Donville (Fusion), Rodney (beach side)

I DID NOT LIKE CHECKING IN. BOOKING.COM SENT THE INCORRECT INFORMATION TO THE HOTEL INCORRECTLY INDICATING WE BOOKED Room 1 - 2 Adults and Room 2- 2Adults HOWEVER IT SHOULD HAVE READ Room 1 - 4 Adults and Room 2 - 2 Adults. They demanded that we paid for the 2 additional guest. Also that we should resolve the issue with Booking.com. That was distasteful and disrespectful. However, it was resolved by a Manager. That was the second time, I have had an issue with Booking.Com. I wonder if this was deliberate. We should get a free weekend from booking.com for that discomfort!

There wasnt enough authentic Jamaican cuisine it was 1 Jamaican restaurant which was adults only, I had my child. But overall the food they had was good.
