The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. It was nice having a mini-fridge in the room. It was also nice having a balcony off of the room to sit and read or relax. I did take advantage of purchasing drinks from the bar located upstairs. This was easier than carrying them back from town. It was convenient having a bus stop directly across the street for our trip back to Sorento to catch a train.

After cleaning the room the slider would be left open. Lots of bugs in Positano so we would have preferred the slider stay closed.

Lovely view, great staff, and the bar upstairs was such a bonus! It's spotlessly clean and great value too.

It's a decent walk from the town but we didn't mind it too much, being fueled by pizza and pasta helped! There is a bus that stops right outside that runs every 30 mins, we only used it once as we honestly preferred the walk (mainly the walk downhill!) but beware if jumping in a taxi it's a flat fee of €25 to drop you anywhere in Positano.

we did early check out around 8am. and lagguage lift doest work till 9am. of the noise. And there is nobody from the stuff who can help .And we needed to bring bags by our self a lot of stairs up. I dont really like, that we book a parking space and we asked to leave the car till 12pm. more 2hours after check out. And they say its impossible because arriving other people. Usually peoole arrive on check in time, sometimes they arrive early but the hotel are asking before , when you will arrive , aswell they did for me the same question. And we left the car somewhere else , close to that place, and when we came we saw that parking places was empty. It was really not nice . I dont asked to stand there my car for free. I understand if tou doesnt want to pay or there are a full booked places.

Sea view room with balcony was as described and probably the best view in the whole town. It rained one day, however, we were still able to enjoy ourselves due to the spacious room and balcony with an amazing view whereas people staying in other hotels probably wouldn't have that luxury.

You can hear other residents moving chairs on the balcony early in the morning, however, this wasn't an issue as we were already up. I can't think of anything I didn't like only that this might inconvenience some people but again, not a major issue.

The location is perfect, being right at the bus stop came in so handy especially for dinner. We would walk down to the beach (super easy when you take the stairs they show you) and then take the bus up at the end of the day. The view is amazing & so peaceful and the staff was very hospitable. Breakfast was also perfect. Lots of pastries, toast, cold cuts, cheese & you were also able to choose either pancakes or eggs made to order. 100% would stay here again.

Not one thing I can complain about! Even the bed was comfy.

Simple but comfortable, great location. Large bedroom with a balcony and sea view. Very comfy bed. The bathroom was also large with a good-sized shower.. Quite a few steps.dpwn the room, loved the luggage pulley system! It was a fairly long walk down to the town, a lot of it along the main road, and then a lot of steps. We didn't mind it, but some might. They have a great local bus service, which stops, along with the Sorrento and Salerno buses, right outside. Fares are only E1.30 one way.

This was a nice stay in Positano. For the price, it was definitely one of the better options we could find on a reasonable budget. The views were nice and the best part was the convenience of being across the street from a bus stop to easily get into and back from the town center.

The bathroom is large, but the shower is tiny (common for Italy).

Me and my daughter stayed in this lovely B&B for four nights. We had a very clean room with a balcony with a beautiful sea view. The breakfast was very nice and since we had sent a message that we are gluten free we even had gluten free croisants reserved for us. Everyday we walked about 15 to 20 minutes down the hill to town and in the evening we took the bus to the hotel. The bus stop is located just across the street from Il Canneto. We made day trips to Amalfi, Ravello and Capri. Our host Barbara was very lovely and gave us good tips e.g. for good restaurants.

Barbara was fantastic - so nice, helpful and responsive via text! The room was spacious, great sea view, super comfortable bed & heavy linens, great bathroom facilities. Little welcome snacks in the room were unexpected and sweet. Large and filling Italian breakfast and coffee. And we loved playing with Vestro the cat. :) We would definitely stay here again.

My husband did step on a gigantic centipede (shoes on, thankfully) that got in the room somehow during the night. Not necessarily the hotel's fault...it is surround by nature and we know the room/hallways were cleaned. It didn't detract from our stay at all though!

I had such a nice stay at Il Canneto. Things were as described-no surprises and expectations met. The room was spacious and I loved the ocean view. Especially, staff were super helpful and efficient. I especially thank Barbara for her kindness and professionalism. She was very attentive to my needs and helped me greatly in case of any issues.

Water pressure was a bit low for the shower and the toilet. I think it was due to its high location in the hill. In terms of location, as described, it’s a bit further away from the town center-15-20 mins of walk. You need to be prepared to go up and down some steep steps, which can be difficult in the sun. But there is also a bus you can take. On the other, thanks to that, the view from the room was amazing. Highly recommend Il Canneto!
