Hotel Le Agavi

Great location. Loved taking water taxi into positano town. Great pool area and fantastic pool staff. Also amazing beCh club area at bottom of cliff.

Perhaps a little run down. Long way down to beach club in inclinator..: long wait sometimes.

Wow- what an amazing hotel. We have travelled extensively around the world (including to Positano previously) and this has to be one of the best hotels we’ve ever stayed in. From the immaculate service to the hotel’s playful 1970s vibe (particularly around the pool area, which was lots of fun) to the impressive beach club (accessed via two seperate lifts!)- Le Agavi was a perfect retreat away from the madness that was peak-season Positano. We also loved both restaurants - La Serra was exceptional and Remmese was perfect for an easy bowl of pasta between swims. The staff were also incredibly friendly and service was always very efficient. We will be staying here again when we return next year.

We had a fantastic suite. We received an upgrade to a one-bedroom suite with a spectacular view. Our friends were placed in a junior suite next to us, which allowed us to enjoy the experience of Positano together. The rooms, and especially the outside deck and balcony, were spacious and clean. The pool area was excellent, with friendly and personable staff. Great fitness room overlooking the ocean. It is truly situated in the best location in Positano. The shuttle service was worth the price of having to valet our car.

When we booked the hotel, there was no mention of the Remmesse Beach House being shut down for the season on the day of our arrival. We were disappointed that we had no access to the beach, despite the Beach House being one of the main reasons we chose to stay at the property. The breakfast was also relatively poor for a 5-star hotel, especially the scrambled eggs.

Location became a bit challenging with reliance being placed on shuttle bus. This could lead to a bit of a scramble for a seat. Noise insulation poor in room. Woken 3 nights running by noisy neighbours

The staff are incredibly lovely and extremely helpful if you need anything. Pool is lovely and refreshing, drinks are delicious, food is incredible and the service truly is 5 star. Spa facilities are great and the masseuse ladies are INCREDIBLE.

A few ants around in the room (which is to be expected with how open the hotel is) which was a little annoying but only was around for a few hours and the fan in the bathroom started to smell but wasn't a real issue we just turned it off. Like Positano, the hotel is on a cliff so it has lots of stairs so bare in mind of that 😂

Le Agavi was such a BEAUTIFUL hotel. Stayed here for two nights during our honeymoon and could not have been more impressed. The staff, the food, the services, the VIEW - I mean, there wasn't anything I could think of that was wrong for us. They have a restaurant right beside the ocean. We loved that they offered shuttle bus services that ran every hour for free that would take you to the main town in just 10 minutes, as well as a water taxi (we paid 30 euros total for the both of us) that takes you to town in like 5 min. Super cool, really nice hotel. I'd recommend to family and friends.

everything… location, staff were friendly, excellent breakfast. The complementary shuttle to and from Positano was really great. Elisabetta was really helpful showing us around the property and suggesting restaurant for dinner.

few things- 1. the hairdryer provided in the room was archaic. it was making a terrible sound. looks like something from the 60s. 2. our bath tub was leaking following shower. they sent maintenance straight away and tried to repair. it was better afterwards but not 100% corrected. the premium price I paid, I would like every little detail to be looked at.

Amazing views from every room and part of the hotel, especially the breakfast balcony. Breakfast was delicious and abundant. Staff were all wonderful and friendly and the location was awesome...slightly out of the town which was good (it can get packed and crazy in the centre) and a regular hotel shuttle service which ran every hour took us to Positano in 10 minutes.

The food by the pool was expensive for what it was.

The view was amazing, the location was great as it was so near Positano town and the shuttle bus was a great addition. The staff couldn't have been more accommodating if they tried! The best bit is their beach area!

There wasn't an iron to use to iron our clothes but we were told someone would come and collect our clothes from our room and press them for us. When we got the bill however they had charged us €10 per item which we weren't informed of. If you're not going to offer an available iron then there shouldn't be a charge for the hotel doing it especially with how expensive it is to stay there. They did remove it from the bill though which was really nice

An incredible hotel - warning for anyone that has mobility issues though - there are a lot of stairs! Beautiful view from our room and from the breakfast area - Great staff - stunning rooms

we arrived in early April so too cold to really enjoy the beautiful outdoor areas - the bar lacked atmosphere and needed tables that were more functional /would have been great to have had a fire pit on in the beach area so it would be enjoyable all year round
