Hotel Leonessa

The location was ideal for me as I was arriving by train, and the hotel is just 2 minutes walk from the south station exit. From the outside it didn't look much, but my room was very smart with a comfortable bed and effective air con (it was 33C outside during the day).

Breakfast service was patchy, with items not being replenished quickly when they ran out.

The hotel is located by the train station so it's very convenient to get there - and even if you're looking at trains from your window you cannot hear any noise which is great. The room itself is pretty big and light - and very modern, it felt as if everything was brand new! Everything was super clear too. The location around the hotel is not very nice but it's just a 10 minute walk to the beautiful city center so it's not an issue.

It's kind of ironic that you cannot hear the loud trains outside thanks to the great (probably triple glass) windows but the walls are so thin you can hear the other guests. There were many really loud people and since it was Saturday they were probably partying. The hotel cannot be blamed for the loudness of its guests but it was still quite bothersome. Overall I really recommend the hotel for those travelling by train.

Location is right next to the station and served us well as a base for day trips to Lake Iseo, Lake Garda, Verona and Venice. The hotel is almost new and very clean/ modern. Air conditioning works well and you have a small fridge in the room. The beds have a top sheet only (no duvet) however just ask for one if you need it and the friendly reception will deliver one to you!

I didn’t notice any noises from the next door neighbours however you can sometimes hear the sound of chairs dragging from upstairs. Maybe something can be added to the feet of the chairs to stop this?

Very close to the Train Station and 15 mins by foot to the train station. There is a vending machine on the ground floor if you want to grab something to eat/drink. The room was clean and tidy. The receptionist was very polite and friendly and the breakfast for 7 eur was worth the price

Partial renovation in the building caused a little bit of noise and dust in the reception area, but completely acceptable. Some small defects e.g one handle of the facet was a little loose but again nothing that really bothers, compared to all the pros of the property.

Lovely modern rooms, comfy bed, sufficient storage, plugs included USB, fridge and safe available for use and stocked with water on arrival, powerful shower, great proximity to train station.

Inconsistent internet connection, location for city centre, it was only a short walk but as a solo female traveller an uncomfortable one as groups of men tended to hang around in and around the train station vicinity so just keep this in mind

A beautiful new room in the hotel that was just being completed. Nice new furniture, high-quality windows that are super soundproof from the train station. We appreciated the safe, the blackout curtains and the large mirror and the great lighting in the room.

There was some unfinished construction work in the bathroom. which is a shame, it slightly spoiled the perfect visual of the new room. The bed could be with a hard mattress, we are not demanding, but we were destroyed from the bed in the morning. That's probably individual.

The room was perfect for a day trip in Brescia travelling by train. Super clean and really nice designed. The shower is amazing.

Only thing I could critizise was a really bad smell after the first night coming out of the climate - we just asked the reception to turn the climate off and were sleeping with an open window... that wasn't the best way to solute the smell-problem for a calm night because it's very loud outside - but the first night was perfect!

The place was great and the stuff was nice. It was very clean and the position was great. Right close to the train station which is perfect if you have to leave by train the next day.

The air conditioner is stop working in the middle of the night and it got really hot. The stuff was nice but he said something which maybe should be worded better; you will charge you extra if you litter the place. I understood what he meant but at the same time he needs to word it better.

The room was clean and the bathroom a delight! So big and luxurious. The breakfast was good, there was variety, the quality wasn't up there but given the money I paid, I would very much commend it.

Already mentioned above. Quality of food could have been better, but it was good for the value of money. The hotel didn't have any extra decor but as mentioned, given the price it's more than decent .

Location next to Brescia train station for really easy access. Room was spacious, very clean and comfortable.

They were doing a lot of furnishing around the property so had to put up with noise and inconvenience. However, when completed, this would be an outstanding place.
