Great location within 2 blocks of where all the restaurants, pubs and shopping are located. The hotel has parking and the rooms was spacious, comfortable and at a reasonable price. We really enjoyed out stay here as we worked our way up the Irish "Wild Atlantic Way".

The room was on the warm side for sleeping due to the warm comforter's they had on the bed. I kept having to pull the comforter up when I got cool and then back off after I got hot. We were able to open the window, but due to a storm that came in later in the night we couldn't keep it open as much as we would like. Plus the open window allowed for us to hear more of the road noise.

Everything was pretty wonderful. The room was a good size, bed was comfortable, shower was very nice, breakfasts were very good. It was nice having a restaurant/bar in the hotel for the one rainy day we had. The only critique would be that there was early morning road traffic noise and sea gull chatter. We were on the third floor with sky lights. These providid ample light but were too high to allow for a view. The Habour Hotel as the name implies is in the harbour area of Galway which isn't the prettiest view anyway. It is a short walk to the main street (Shop St.) Overall, I would definitely stay there again.

It was a very short walk to the Latin quarter part of town, and less than 10 min from Eyre Park. There was a restaurant and bar on the first floor and a large lobby. Front desk staff were helpful. The parking lot was secure and directly attached to the hotel. The A/C worked great!

The parking lot was difficult to find and tricky to maneuver in and out. The spots were very tight and most were between poles, which made it tricky. The pay station gave lots of people trouble…so they had to run back into the hotel to get the staff to open the gate. The “Harbour view” is of a commercial vessels, so not what comes to mind when you think of a harbor view.

Very comfortable bed and pillows are just like from heaven. Skincare products are my favourite products (I use the same products at home) from Rituals. Food was absolutely delicious, great live music, excellent stuff. Beautiful interior. Lovely reading aria!

I used earplugs, because I could easily hear all of the sounds from outside of the hotel and some from inside as well. A bathroom door handle was very creaking, so maybe a tiny drop of some oil would help to prevent your partner from waking up when you go to bathroom at night time. Toilet brush and air freshener would be handy for those who are humans, not fairies))))

This hotel is terrific for a Galway stay. We had a triple room with 3 beds- a rare and very much appreciated find (some triples are a double and a single). The room was clean, bathroom was updated and well appointed. Breakfast was excellent and we also had a lovely dinner there as well. The hotel is just a short walk to the Aran Ferry and Galway sites making it very convenient. There is a parking garage on site making arrival and departure very easy. The staff were friendly and very helpful.

Our room overlooked a main thoroughfare which was somewhat noisy.

Good place for a short-term stay. Stayed for 2 nights, central location, close to the attractions, restaurants, shops, although the area is quiet. Very comfy beds, excellent breakfast above the expectations - both continental and full Irish buffet.

The room was not cleaned to 4 star standard prior to arrival. We stayed in 106 and it could have been cleaned better, honestly. We could see the dust on the bed frame and on the round wall mirror. After taking a shower and high humidity, some written words appeared on the mirror in the bathroom and became visible, that means that mirror had not been cleaned properly - God know only! - for how long. I made a picture of those, not for uploading here, but just in case. Good place to spend 2 nights otherwise.

The breakfast was lovely.... the only tip i would give is that on your first morning of breakfast instead of the employee guiding you to your table and asking tea and coffee they should first point out cereal fruit plates breakfast toaster just a 20 second guide besides being left in limbo.. it means so much more to the guest besides being left to figure it out

Evening food portions were a tad small...What i said about the breakfast above but also i found the girl on reception when we checked in to be very robotic... she spelled everything out like it was coming from a robot on speed x 3... no more tgan the beeakfast it means so much more just to interact that bit more with the guest and slowly explain times and facilities and areas

The hotel manager, Padraig, was absolutely fantastic. He assisted us promptly in the morning with our questions, addressed all our concerns, and provided sterling, top-of-the-line customer service. He is the reason for the success of this stay. The other hotel staff were also extremely courteous and helpful. Also, the location in proximity to walking into the city is fantastic - and it is just far enough away to be secluded from any night time street noise.

We were given a skylight room, which cut the space in half and felt very cramped (and my wife and I are short people!). The room rate was far higher than the going rate when we checked in (so I may have booked during the high-season rate). Also, the garage doubles with the public parking for the dock boats (which is a bit confusing) and was unlit when we stayed, which gives a very ominous sensation when arriving and parking at night.

I loved the location of the hotel, close to but not directly in the town centre. We had a top floor attic room which was very spacious and windows that fully open to allow the wonderful sea air to blow in. I slept really well. The bathroom had a great shower.

The car park needs some love - the entry/exit gate never worked and it looks terrible. The downstairs bar becomes very hot and there is no A/C. Guests couldn't use the bar area for a drink as it was full of locals coming for dinner.
