Rama Beach Resort And Villas

We have stayed at Rama Beach on many occasions, so are very familiar with staff, location and facilities. This makes our stay so much easier. Staff remember you from previous visits and are always happy to see you and engage with you.

Some disruptive guests in the pool area playing their boom box extremely loud and smoking beside other guests lacking consideration of others nearby. The staff are in a difficult situation and are reluctant to "offend" guests and ask them to turn the music down/off. Some guests reserve pool sun lounges all day when not there.

The food was fantastic, great resturant, drinks, brekky was fantastic, staff were great. Pool beautiful, spa great Loved the bed!!!! 4 poster , so big and comfortable, pillows were great too.

Went to have a shower a couple of times, no water, had to wait an hour for it. Laundry came back damp with not a very nice smell to it. It's a bit dated all-round in the Villa and pool area Our biggest gripe was we are a couple late 50s, got a family put either side of us and the yelling and screaming from not just the children in the pool but the parents as well, it was that loud we would have to leave our room. It went on and on. Recommend not putting young families next to quiet couples in villas. It was over the top!!! Bit of a hike to shops

The hotel is good for family stay of a few days. Deep pool- 2.5m, nice restaurant and breakfast. Good rooms. The area of hotel is pleasant. The hotel is walking distance from beach, but it is public beach- not its own area. The water is not at best in that area (Kuta), as not very clean. Thus, if you stay in the hotel, you can enjoy walks along the beach, proximity to Aqua Park and many restaurants.

By mistake they charged my credit card second time on the day of departure, though it was immediately reimbursed. Though, we paid the room rate immediately on arrival......The explanation was that "we tried to call you, but you did not answer?"--- and it was 7am in the morning when all of it was happening. There was no phone call that morning and no one even tried to knock on our door. So, it was a bit strange situation. I hope it is only technical mistake and that was only negative experience in that hotel.

breakfast was fantastic. the pool is great. huge room. have stayed here many time and would not consider any other resort. it is like coming home. it is like n oasis in the middle a city. staff and facilities are number one. Look at this property first before you book anything

nothing, you could not ask for a better place to stay. internet not fantastic butt that is Bali. Some small mantainance issues but norman in Bali

Staff were really lovely. The spa facilities were great. The pool was always a beautiful temperature. Air conditioning in the room was perfect. Good location next to beach, mall, restaurants and massage places. Also ATM and money exchange next to facility.

The food (room service) wasn't the best, however it was good in a pinch, however we were vegetarian so perhaps the meat options are better. Sometimes the breakfast options were a bit stale (the pastries and waffles). The shower/bath in the room wasn't perfect. Water went everywhere

Amazing Suite with private pool, staff were great, very helpful. Breakfast ok lots of variety. Very clean, pool and bar were great. Transfers on time and efficient. Good location central and easy access to Kuta hub. Great value for money. Mary on the Tours desk is very professional and will assist with everything from advice, money change, and day trips.

Restaurant food for lunch and dinner needs total overhaul. Very disappointed compared to other restaurants in the local area. Very few customers for lunch and dinner. Not Rama's problem, but Bali traffic is completely broken and getting around is terrible at best. 30 min to travel 5 klms in taxi. Taxi's and drivers available right outside Hotel affordable rates.

we have stayed at the rama a few times now, there is nothing to dislike about this hotel, from your arrival the stay is both comfortable and relaxing. the pool area is inviting and well maintained. the rooms , we stayed in a premier cottage, are both spacious and well equipped with a fridge. the open air shower is over sized and has great heat control. the buffet breakfast has many eastern and western options, the breakfast staff are pleasant and are esy to find and helpful. any issues that may come up, which were minor in nature are dealt with quickly. wifi is excellent. the location is a quieter area in kuta close to beach and local rstaurants, the hotel itself is set back from the main road and for the most part depending on your local neighbours is quiet. grounds and gardens area are well looked after and provide a private setting

the hotel is becoming more family oriented. the breakfast buffet does not provide the same level of food choices or quality as it did even last year. pool chairs are reserved with no one using, even with notices placed on pool tables that the reserved towels will be removed after 45 minutes, it does not happen.

This was our third stay at the Rama beach, we find the location in Kuta more quiet than other Kuta areas, the resort is both well located to the beach area and airport, restaurants and all types of commercial shops. This resort is set in a secluded off road in a garden setting. The villas are spacious and well equipped with large comfortable beds, excellent showers and air conditioning. The pool is clean and spacious with treed areas for shade. The staff are very accommodating, polite and very helpful. The breakfast dining area is open air and provides a buffet breakfast with many food options. We would stay again when back in Bali

Pool chairs can be a problem with people reserving and not using even though notices of abuse are posted, no one enforces the issues. The rooms and villas although very private have poor soundproofing and sound carries clearly outside from rooms and walkways. The buffet selections have not been up to past standards.

Our first visit to Rama Beach Resort and found it a lovely surprise. Booked in for a couple of nights prior to our flight home. Was surprised how good the surrounding area was , quite and with access to the beach We stayed in a Garden Villa which was very comfortable, well priced and with a Balinese feel which makes a nice change. The room was clean with a very comfortable, it had a huge bed and access to a nice courtyard. Bathroom was well appointed with seperate shower and toilet. Pool is absolutely fabulous with great pool bar and tasty food available at reasonable prices. Breakfast was not as good as some other places we have stayed in but there was a good selection. Unfortunately the dining room area was being renovated while we were there.Staff are lovely and very friendly throughout the resort. Special mention to the incredible staff at the hotel spa, they were amazing, highly recommend a massage. I think it would be worth it to renovate the reception area as it is a bit underwhelming when you arrive and doesn’t do the resort any favours.

It's a lovely Resort, set in beautiful gardens, great swimming pool with swim up bar and plenty of sunloungers. Staff are so friendly, attentive and just awesome, some remembered us from 7years ago. Breakfast is amazing with so much choice, from Indian food to pastries, doughnuts, fruits,cereals yogurts, bacon sausages eggs cooked any way you want and heaps more. Rooms are spacious and serviced daily, complimentary water, tea n coffee also mini bar if required. Plenty of restaurants and massage salons in the area and lovely walkway along the Beach to Kuta and beyond . Definitely highly recommend and will be back again soon .🙂

Shower over baths and quite high to get into, particularly if older. Used to have a shuttle service into Discovery Mall but not available now.
