Cortile Hotel - Adults Only

I thought this looked nice, but the hotel was so much better than I had expected, I didn't want to leave! Perfect location , could walk everywhere, also very near tram/bus/metro if it was raining. Great value for money, photos don't do it justice. Lovely room, comfiest bed I have ever slept in. Loved all the interior design details too, way more interesting than the chain hotels. Breakfast was great, good times available (didn't finish too early if you've had a late night!), and so many different food options. Staff were very helpful and friendly, and there was always someone available. Rooftop pool was the cherry on top, and barely anybody up there! The water was a little bit colder than ideal, but as long as you do a couple of lengths it was fine! Lovely to come back for a swim after a touristy day, before heading out for dinner. Fab views of the city, and great cocktails/mocktails available on the roof bar.

Home from an incredible stay at the Cortile, We could not fault this hotel. The breakfast choices were fantastic, particularly the pastries! Beautiful hotel, immaculately clean with a lovely smell in every area of the hotel. All the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, they are a credit to the hotel. Possibly the best hotel room we’ve ever stayed in too, it was huge with a beautiful big window and a balcony. The rooftop pool & bar were an exceptional addition and the perfect way to unwind in the morning/evenings. We will 100% return the next time we visit Budapest. We wouldn’t stay anywhere else, Thank you for an amazing stay!!

Just had a Three night stay at this hotel and I must say I have no complaints at all. From the moment wee checked in till we checked out all staff wee really really lovely and so helpful especially Lola (For my Wife's birthday 🎂🍾🥂)and for booking our tickets on the Bus tour and evening Danube cruise. Stayed in a suite with Balcony and it was really spacious clean and tidy. Breakfast was lovely and fresh every morning with plenty of options. Roof top pool was really clean and tidy as well as nice and peaceful 👌 All in all an Excellent hotel with great staff in a very central Location. Thanks Ronald and Nicola 👏

The Cortile Hotel is a lovely hotel in Budapest and is the perfect base for exploring the city. The hotel was in a great location, just tucked off the main road making it lovely and peaceful, however within 10 minutes your never far from the main sites and shops. The staff at the hotel were all so welcoming and friendly, nothing was too much trouble and you were always greeted upon entering/exiting the hotel day and night. The rooms are cleaned, spacious and perfect for relaxing in after a day exploring. The rooftop pool is an added bonus, and is the perfect way to unwind at the end of the day.

The staff are excellent at this hotel. Friendly, efficient and will go out of their way to help with any questions you have. The pool is a great addition, I imagine even better in summer with the roof opened up. The breakfast on offer has plenty of options ranging from continental to cooked options. It never got too busy despite being a small area. The rooms are well designed and appealing, and the added touch of a pillow menu really has us smiling. Location is 10/10. Close to public transport but just out of the busiest areas. Easy access to all of the baths and Jewish Quarter.

Nothing. The only small issues we had were quickly dealt with and we felt looked after.

The property is gorgeous, the attention to detail is clear and everything is really curated. The staff is very attentive and will help you with everything you need. The room is beautiful and really spacious. Breakfast is lovely, and the staff serving it are really helpful. The rooftop pool is a plus and really nice. All the amenities are highly appreciated. Would definitely come back.

Overall everything was great at our stay, we just had a slight issue with the light bulbs in our room, out of 8 only 2,5 were working. We mentioned it to reception and they said they would check. Besides that no other issues.

This place not only had friendly, helpful staff, but is clean, well-located, recently furbished, and full of nice surprises: cake (and a range of sweet and savoury food) at breakfast, all day access to a coffee machine, welcome drinks ... The pool area with a view over the city rooftops was also lovely.

I'm being picky, but our glass bathroom was a bit odd. You could pull curtains around it but there was always visibility into one part of it or another (toilet or shower) because the curtains didn't quite fit somehow. I would have felt awkward with someone I didn't know really well!

Excellent location, the staff were very friendly and professional. The room was modern, spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The roof top swimming pool is a great addition to the hotel. The room was cleaned frequently and the breakfast was fantastic with loads of choices and high-quality food. Would have no problem staying here again, really is of 5 star standard.

The only issue I had was the room was very hot and I could not seem to control the AC in the room however, I did not raise this issue with the staff members so I can not hold it against the hotel as everything else was so good.

The hotel was in the perfect location. We were able to walk to most of our activities within 15/10 mins. We ordered a taxi from the Airport to the hotel through the Hotel/Booking.com on arrival the taxi was waiting for us and the service was great. The hotel itself felt very secure and safe. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Breakfast was busy every day and yet walking around the hotel it was spacious and never felt noisy or packed somehow. The pool was super nice and as it had an outdoor an indoor area we were able to make use of it regardless of the weather. All in all the facilities were great, the staff were fantastic. We would definitely stay here again when we are next in Budapest.

One thing we said would have been great was a larger indoor bar at the hotel. We were visiting with a group of friends and there was a night where the weather was not great, it would have been great to have somewhere to have a drink and play some cards. While there was the pool bar (open till 10pm) there was no real indoor space for groups. Additionally the bar tender at the pool bar was mostly hanging out on their phone and it was a bit uncomfortable as it felt like we were inconveniencing them when asking for a drink. It would have been better if there was a way to ring for a drink or something. (But I am Irish and overly polite so that is me just nitpicking). You know its a good hotel when you struggle to find things you didn't like without being very fussy!
