Sheraton Duesseldorf Airport Hotel

Perfect location for busy and time-constrained traveler. Good on-site restaurant and great bar (actually, it seems that there is nothing the bartender - Stefan - can not do)! :)

Very close proximity to the airport. Could walk over to the terminal in less than 5 minutes. This worked out for me because I left something in my room after checking out and realized when I was about to go through security...so I was able to quickly run back and get my item, with ease. Very comfortable beds and quiet facilities.

The restaurant menu didn't really wow me, but I also wasn't that hungry, so perhaps when I come back again, I may try something off the menu. Limited English speaking channels (but being fair, I am in Germany, so it makes sense the majority of channels would be in German).

Perfect location for my early flight next morning at 6am. There were some to go snacks to replace breakfast and the airport departures hall is 3 floors down with the elevator. Can't beat that.

The hotel has a robot mini bar that is supposed to come to you with the push of a button on the room phone. It didn't come. With a help of a staff member it came but calculated the wrong rate, and then the robot called a bit later saying "I'm at your door" but it wasn't. Nice try but it needs a lot of improvement.

My first stay in an airport hotel so not really having a barometer to compare but for an overnight after a cancelled flight it has all you need to cheer you up after your travel plans have been derailed. Very nice bathrooms with generous toiletries and actual bathtubs, complimentary nespresso machines and water bottles in the room, and a nice sized room and comfortable bed. All of it obviously on the footprint of the airport so only a 10-15 minute walk from room door to check in desk and all airport amnesties like the shops, restaurants etc. All you need when your stay has been derailed and extended unexpectedly. Staff are very helpful and I’m hand 24/7.

For a traveller like me it is a bit on the pricey side but hey - the airline compensated so what is there to complain about on this front? I also didn’t get a reply to my message about some items I thought I left in the room which was a little disappointing. even a. our test ‘nothing was handed in’ reply would have been nice. The bathtubs are a little on the small size but to be honest I’m used to a standing shower for my usual budget so a bathtub of any size is great to have.

The staff were simply amazing during my stay, the young man who checked me in made sure everything was taken care of which was not only helpful but reassuring for my onward journey. He then went above and beyond and quite simply he made my stay. I always stay here when I travel from Düsseldorf and will continue to do so.

I stayed for two nights, in between flight to and from Düsseldorf (like a few times before). The staff was friendly and helpful as always: When there was an issue with the WiFi in my room/area, I got upgraded to another room immediately. Breakfast is good, the rooms are quiet, the beds are great. The bathrooms might need a re-design in the long run. But all in all, the Sheraton is unbeatable for ease of use and location when travelling - and always a rather calming experience during stressful travel.

The location of the property is wonderful if you have a layover in Düsseldorf. The staff on reception were incredibly helpful. Earlier that day we had missed our initial flight from Georgia so had to book additional flights so to stay somewhere as lovely as this when we should’ve been at home was a real treat after an extremely stressful day. The bar staff were also wonderful and he made our few hours at the bar a memorable and enjoyable evening. I could not fault this hotel at all.

The location is ideal. Especially for the late night or early morning flights. The staff was very polite and kind. They spoke fluently English. The room was very nice. Modern. Clean. It had almost all the required facilities. Except for the fridge. Which you might not need if you are staying for just one night. The beds were extremely comfortable. The check out was also fast and good.

The access to the main entrance of the hotel was complicated. Some signs on the wall or street would help.

It was really convenient as we had to take a flight really early in the morning. After figuring out how to come into the hotel through the parking lot, it was really friendly staff, a small bar. I didn't have any breakfast due to my early check out (around 5am), but there was some coffee, tea, fruits and cookies for those leaving early, which I think is wonderful! I didnt hear any plane during the night, thus it is really good sound isolated.
