The staff was friendly and helpful. Everyone greeted us and we felt welcome. The entire place was clean and well maintained. The room was very clean and well designed. Bathroom was decent sized and shower was roomy. Bed was firm and bedding was clean and soft. Air Conditioning worked like a dream and we slept like babies. Breakfast was well presented and offered standard Continental Breakfast and hard boiled eggs and assorted meats, cheeses and breads and spreads. Very nice dining are and the kitchen staff was very friendly and did an amazing job keeping up with the tables and food. Would definitely stay here again.

The location has a large lot of vehicles across the street from it. Its unkept and unsightly. We had to park on the street in front of the building next to the hotel. I was worried about my vehicle being stolen or damaged but the car was fine the next morning. Other than that, the place is great.

The restaurant was clean, the staff was very friendly and accommodating. It was good value for money. We got an early check-in as the room was ready. Even after checking out, the staff allowed us to store our baggage for free as our train was 9 hours later. Near to both the U Bahn, S Bahn and bus stops. McDonalds is just 200M away. Room was also clean though smaller than average. Breakfast spread was good.

Showerhead was very narrow. It should've been wider with better water flow. Wifi is poor throughout the hotel. Keeps disconnecting frequently. Likely due to limited capacity of the router/switch. We preferred mobile data as we're from the EU however for tourists without a data plan, it's difficult to manage. Breakfast area gets crowded if you go after 8AM.

Great hotel, meets expectation as a 3 stars hotel, the room was equipped well (ironing facility, tea, coffee, electric kettle), the bathroom & shower was great. Indoor parking garage is available underneath the hotel (it cost 18 euros though, the garage entrance is a little bit small as well), also free parking is available in front of the hotel. Breakfast was great (price was inclusive), good variety of food, but the breakfast area is a little small, so you might wait little bit for tables if it is crowded. I can tell that the hotel management is aware of this problem, since there was couple of staff (at least 1) working hard to clear tables and make them ready for new people (The hotel manager should provide a raise to the staff working in the breakfast area, he/they were extra polite, working hard to clear tables out, and make them available, many thanks to him/them). McDonald's is just next to the hotel, and If you drive an electric car, there is a charging station between McDonald's and the hotel (only less than 2 minutes walk). The location is good and safe, but quite far from city center. I guess there is a near by tram station, but never used it.

The room is a little bit small for a family of 2 adults, a teenager and a 6 years old kid, but good for a solo traveler or a couple. The sofa bed is not very comfortable unfortunately. During the checkin, we have to wait for around 10 minutes for the room to be ready, although we were checking in around 5 pm. We didn't mind, but when we got in the room, there were couple of empty and used water bottles in the room, I wonder how the cleaning staff missed that.

Check in was smooth. Receptionist were very friendly. Room was nice and clean, breakfast was also very nice. For us a good choice of food to choose from. Check-out was also smooth and I liked the option of being able to get a lunch bag if you had to leave early/in a hurry.

I think you shouldn't use a double room for 4 people, by just placing a sleep sofa. The room is perfect for 2 people, but too small for 4.

Clean room, option to accomodate 4 people at once. Pretty bathroom. Free breakfast. Very close to everything in the city, especially airport. No matter where we wanted to go in the city, it was maximum 20 minutes away with public transport.

Because I traveled for an event, I would really appreciate if breakfast was running for longer without having to get up extra early to go there before it closes.

I had an amazing stay. I arrived late at night, because my flight has been cancelled and my debit card did not work first, so the staff member said that I can also pay in the morning during my checkout. I felt very welcome and it was a perfect stay. The checkout was quick and staff member was very friendly, amazing breakfast.

Just one little thing, I was not able to pay with my card on the vending machine to get a bottle of water. But other than that, everything was perfect.

Breakfast is a cultural thing ... as a Brit I prefer a different b/fast to that which was available, but having said that, I was happy with what was on offer.

It's a petty observation, but during the day the lift seemed to be permanently in use by the staff and not available for guests - after day-1 I used the stairs exclusively. Not a problem for me, but others on my floor were less mobile.

The staff were very friendly and there was a great choice of food at the buffet breakfast. For a 100 euros for a family of 4 with breakfast, it was very good value for money.

We used this as a stop over for a long journey. We didn't explore dusselfdorf but did recognise that the hotel was located perhaps on the outskirts of the main city.

The bed was quite firm, which I absolutely loved, and the room super quiet, even though is near the train lines. Staff was friendly and accomodating, and breakfast was very nice with a good range of options and even a little pancake machine, which was a lot of fun I must admit! We weren't in town to discover as tourists, so unsure if it's a very well located spot for that, but definitely was for us. Easy to reach.

I wish we had one big duvet instead of 2 small ones, but I know it's customary in Germany to have 2 small ones. Also, the bathroom is cleverly designed, with the bathroom door also being able to close the toilet cubicle, however, the wall of the cubicle was the glass from the shower, so there was no real privacy. ideally that would need to be frosted glass! Also, the bed was close to the halway, which gave a tight space to walk, when there was plenty of space to move the bed closer to the window - but that's the picky designer talking!

Location (easy access to public transport), good breakfast and friendly staff.

Compared to other Holiday Inn (Express) hotels we stayed at, this one's entrance and reception area had a less warm feel (grey tile floor). The beds were harder than usual and the rooms were not sound proof (could hear the neighbors move about and put things up). So we didn't get the rest we normally do.
