INNSiDE by Meliá Düsseldorf Hafen

My husband and I booked this hotel for three nights and another two nights later. My husband is recovering from a stroke, so having a quiet room with a good view was essential for his rest. When we checked in on August 14th, I requested such a room from the front desk officer, who kindly accommodated our needs. We stayed in room 702 and enjoyed a peaceful and relaxing stay. We did not opt for breakfast in our booking, as my husband had difficulty going to the 16th floor. Instead, we ordered breakfast in our room for two mornings, which was excellent. The staff were attentive and refilled the complimentary drinks we received for our stay. We had no issues during those first three nights at the hotel. However, our experience differed for the next two nights, which I will review separately.

The view could have been more impressive. This marks our second stay at this hotel, and the stunning view we experienced during our first stay motivated us to choose this hotel again.

I arranged a hotel for a few days for my friend and her husband. I treated them to this stay as they had travelled from The Hague to spend time with us in Dusseldorf. They had a fantastic time at the hotel, particularly enjoying the breakfast. They were really impressed by the cleanliness, the convenience, and the stylish ambience of the restaurant. The variety of breakfast food options also left a strong impression on them. Overall, their stay left them extremely happy and impressed.

The bar on the top floor has wonderful views and it's a lovely place to enjoy the very nice breakfast. Overall, a nice hotel with a good standard.

Use of the sauna wasn't possible for us in the end. One had to speak to the reception, for the sauna to be heated up in the first place and in our case there were no dressing gowns and slippers available. In the gym we were told they should be in our room or we could get some from the reception. Unfortunately, we did not have any in our room and the reception didn't have any either. That was quite disappointing, as we'd deliberately booked a hotel with a sauna...

The beds were very very comfortable!

The blinds do not allow for the rooms to be completely dark so if you are bothered by light in the morning then you will wake up. We called the reception to understand how the air conditioning works as the room was not cooling, and they informed us that there is no air conditioner but rather an air circulation system. So I found this quite misleading as this was one of the reasons I picked this hotel.

Nice modern room with good bed and shower, enjoyed the Nespresso (although the coffee mug did not fit), breakfast was very good. Sky bar is nice but unfortunately there is no outside area there which if it's sunny would add a lot of value.

They directed me to the Q-park garage at the cinema. This was quite a long walk back to the hotel with my luggage and that's a very old parking with very narrow tunnels and turns (which my Tesla did not like). I was lead to believe initially that the hotel had its own parking? And with electrical charging as well? (but was not there)

The gentleman working at reception was very polite and helpful during my check-in. He explained everything clearly and assisted me with all my needs. The rooms were very clean and the view of the hafen exceptional.

I thought the parking situation was a bit much. How can a quality hotel not have adequate parking to serve its guests? Thankfully, the Hyatt did provide a solution, but at what cost? The distance between the two hotels is not convenient enough to suit everyone's needs.

We came very early and they accept to swap room as our was not ready in the morning. Since it has been very cold outside, it has been very much appreciated. The location is very nice but not in winter, too cold and completely desert.

Parking very far if you have a 4x4. Parking on site too low and could not park with our jeep. Next parking availabilities are quite far.

It’s very clean and new, right on the river and only 15 min walk from the Old city. The staff is very friendly and they meet all your requests with a smile. Brilliant roof top terrace where you can eat with a view all over Düsseldorf - definitely a good place to stay.

Everything was really good.

The hotel was very nice. The location was great and the breakfast on the 16th floor was "heavenly". Very nice and friendly staff and the rooms were also very nice and big as well as comfortable.

Overall I liked it very much, the rooms feel a bit sterile, like in a hospital :)

We got a room on the Rhein side, so the view was awesome. The location is good, but is a relatively new neighborhood a little far from the old city center, but you can easily find one interesting places near.

There was no parking in the property, and the attendant didn't even knew exactly the nearest (there are some two blocks away). The bed was good, but the pillows where improvised with folded small blankets. This really pissed me off, but I was so tired that I only notice in the middle of the night.
