INNSiDE by Meliá Dresden

Very nice modern hotel in an excellent location with an excellent breakfast. They added a single cot/bed in the room for my son to stay with us. We did have to pay for a larger room, the cot and his breakfast, but the upgrade price was reasonable. Parking is located under the hotel, make sure that you enter the parking garage from the entrance on the left side of the hotel entrance and not the ramp down to the public garage which is slightly more money.

I forgot to ask them for credit for a previous booking I made two years ago that I had to cancel due to COVID.

We had the pleasure of staying at this hotel for two nights and were impressed by the level of service provided. The staff exhibited utmost professionalism, with Alexandros going above and beyond when I realized I had lost my passport just before checking in. Thanks to his quick action, I was able to retrieve my passport in time before departing from Dresden. The hotel exudes a wonderful atmosphere, and despite the temporary closure of certain amenities during our stay, we were graciously granted complimentary access to the swimming pool and sauna at the nearby Hilton Hotel. Our room was exceptionally comfortable as well. I extend my heartfelt gratitude to everyone, especially Alexandros, for their warm reception and invaluable assistance in locating my passport. I highly recommend this hotel.

Lovely modern hotel, central location in the old city, next to public transportation. Rooms are comfortable and modern. Free minibar was a great addition!

Two minor issues in townhouse room (not in regular room we also had): First, the bathroom and toilet both had door which did not completely shut, bathroom had a sliding door and toilet - a glass type one. We prefer more privacy, especially when travelling with children or friends. Second, something on the upper floor of the townhouse made a loud, short sound every once in a while, like a machine working for 5-10 secs, including during the night. It did not wake us up but wasn't pleasent. Also gym was very small and without air conditioning, so difficult to work out in during the summer... Nothing major and would stay here again, but all worth mentioning.

The position, one road from the FrauenKirche was excellent, quiet but very convenient as a 3 minute stroll to Frauenkirche. Driving to it and parking was very easy, even though it was right near all the main sights in Dresden. The rooms were up to the great Standard that Melia Hotels provide. Excellent beds and great bathroom, complementary mini bar and kettle with coffee and tea.

This Melia seems to have been a much larger tourist hotel which was upgraded to Melia Standards, so some of the furniture and fixtures and carpeting in the public areas and passages were not quite as on trend, as other Melia's, although there is a fancy glass lift and a grand piano in reception. Not a complaint but an observation. Coffee creamer powder was provided instead of the little milk 10cc containers usually provided. Probably more eco friendly but not my favourite. Again not really a complaint but an observation.

Very good location in the middle of the city. Even though there were a lot of guest in the hotel, the room was very quiet. We couldn't hear any noise from the corridor or the other room. Room is very modern, nice and tidy with comfortable bed. The window can be opened to let in some fresh air. There is a water heater in the room for tea and instant coffee. Breakfast excellent. The hotel has their own garage, which isn't cheap, but no more expensive than the underground parking in the middle of the city.

A Nespresso-kind-of coffee machine could have been welcome in the room. It would be better suited to the standard of the hotel.

Very friendly and helpful staff in a lovely hotel. The hotel is perfectly located for a visit to Dresden (easy walking distance to city sites). I'd recommend the hotel to friends visiting the city.

The breakfast (not included in the price of the room, unlike many European hotels) is wildly overpriced at $25 for a relatively small buffet (a quick walk around the corner for breakfast is recommended). I would've also liked to have had lighter bedclothes available, rather than a heavy duvet (in June).

Just about everything was perfect at this hotel. The staff is wonderful and helpful, the breakfast is INCREDIBLE, the property is clean, the bed was comfortable and the location was excellent (assuming you wanted to stay in the old city center). The wifi was VERY slow and weak in our room and the air conditioning was not very good. Other than that, we truly enjoyed our stay here and would stay here again.

Very slow and weak wifi in the room. Marginal air conditioning. The in-room refrigerator is inside a closed cabinet. If you want the refrigerator to work well and keep things cold, you need to keep the *cabinet door* (NOT the refrigerator door!) open all the time. Beware, housekeeping will continually close the cabinet door! (If the cabinet door is closed, the temperature inside the cabinet gets HOT and the refrigerator is not able to keep food cold).

Very classy hotel, wonderful lobby, good breakfast option, and best of all superb location to the sightseeing in and around the plaza which the hotel was located. As a result the Zwinger complex with access to the Gemaldegallerie, the Porcelain museum, the Physics and Math building, Green vault (Old) and the Abertinum Museum and the Opera building all are within 15-25 minutes walking distances and the vendors with all kinds of quick foods ie bratwurst and beers are right in the middle of this square with many restaurants to choose from at the end of the day. Perfect location.

LOVED my stay. it was very comfortable. great location! just 2 minutes walk to the famous main square with the famous church, so close to many restaurants…etc. the whole hotel is modern/new. nice lobby and outdoor seatings. my room/bathroom was spacious and modern. perfect sound proofing. loved how attentive they were, like how the refreshments were on the house, not just water but many drinks. also bcuz I put a do not disturb sign, they put a small bag on my door handle with some fresh towels/toilet paper, just in case if needed any! simple things but highly appreciated. shoutout to the friendly staff, especially the blond guy at the reception working on the day of my arrival 28th :) highly reccomend

- this hotel is very busy during weekends, therefore sometimes guests need to wait for table to have breakfast, however I was very impressed that during waiting time they offered coffee and something sweet, so the overall experience was still very nice
