Beautiful chateau with lush greenery surrounding the property! We loved the privacy, beauty, peace! We liked a lot of things : Great cocktails, lovely breakfast spread, cozy comfy rooms, great interior, very clean, & friendly owner + staff!

When we arrived we were told we would be staying away from the chateau, The booking made it seem that we were staying in the castle, but the checkin lady said we had to book that request ahead of time. Noted, for next time :)

Breakfast was wonderful. Staff was super friendly and helpful started just a day after I made my booking. It's a stunning place with lots of amenities and just great all around.

Not sure why it costs money to use the jacuzzi. That should be included. A couple of minor errors on the bill from the restaurant that really shouldn't have been there, but the staff fixed them with no problem. A couple of foul smells on the property.

This spectacular small chateau on the banks of the Indre sits in a property that takes your breath away. The rooms are lovely, you feel transported to another era, small but comfortable and surrounded by beautiful grounds, with ancient trees I had never seen before. The photos I shot are simple otherworldly

Other than breakfast, the food was not impressive. The room for 3 people was much smaller than the room for 2 people. we were charged for two different families in the hot tub (which no one was in) even though we are one family of four in two different rooms. Took numerous days to fix our broken minibar.

the location was beautiful and really peaceful team really helpful with disabled guest breakfast was superb. Terrance for dinner had a lovely ambiance really enjoyed the walk around the grounds

steps to room a little steep for disabled guest, but we fully understand why A little more information on faculties would have been helpful on check in, but again no overall issue

We loved it here! Very clean, comfortable room with friendly and welcoming staff and welcoming glass of a local tipple. Excellent dinner in the restaurant. Lovely common room with a log fire. Tesla charger. We will be back!

Small niggles only...the tension of the shower attachment hose only let the shower head point left or right, not at me in the middle! Like many older properties the sockets could be improved for charging our phones and laptops etc. Staff did say they are closing mid -December for 3 months for a renovation project.

The Chateau is beautiful and very comfortable. The owners are very 'hands on' and friendly, giving the place a cosy, independent feel. The use of the rowing boat was a lovely extra.

We were so excited to find that the Chateau had a menu vegetal at a very reasonable price, but the food was a massive disappointment - some of it was tasteless, some of it was inedible. 23 euros for a below average breakfast was also a bit steep.

Breakfast staff and most other staff were great. Dinner staff on one night were very good

Dinner staff in restaurant were totally incapable and nasty when after two hours some of our party told them to forget the cold and unappetizing food offered to them . It was tense and unpleasant and only we remained calm. Your manager was angry. What bothered us es another table at the other end of the room received their food at the right time. New and inexperienced servers didn’t help.

While dogs are allowed on the property and in the rooms, beware they are not allowed in the restaurant even though there is outdoor space. We were told there were two other guests in our situation. We were asked to eat in our room and told we could only have a two course menu. We were disappointed as we were really looking forward to diner at this place. Adapting to the no dog policy in the restaurant was a normal expectation but being told we could not place all of our order was disappointing--especially if there were only two other guests in the same situation.

The staff were wonderful! Very good at their jobs, very friendly. Offered a better room upon arrival which was a huge benefit!! Restaurant = delicious Room = beautiful Pool = stunning and peaceful Location was great too!

Perhaps as it is a older chateau, the water pressure in shower was a little low.
