Hotel Kyriad Tours St Pierre des Corps Gare

A small but cozy room was provided for us. The staff were friendly and helpful and answered our questions in a quick and concise manner. The room had wonderful blackout curtains which provided for an excellent night's rest. The bathroom was spacious and accessibility-friendly. The close proximity to the train station meant we could explore the centre of Tours and still be on our way first thing in the morning. There is a restaurant/cafe in the hotel but we didn't use it as we didn't have much time to stay in the hotel apart for the sleeping.

The hotel is just next to bus stops and the train station, so if you're a light sleeper, there will be some noise (not too loud, but a car honk can wake you up) due to the close proximity of the public transport. Not a deal breaker as you can still sleep during essential hours (11pm to 8-9am)

Excellent all round. We had dinner in the restaurant which was of an unexpectedly high quality and superb value for money. Location is adjacent to the train station which is what we wanted.Staff were efficient and polite.Bed and pillows very comfortable.Very good soundproofing.

Our room benefited frm.a disable facility bathroom which meant it was large.Unfortunately there was no shower curtain and the toilet flush needs to be repaired.

Very practical location at the train station. Good for very early departures.

I requested for a 5.00am wake up call at check in and the receptionist said it was noted and planned. It never happened. Fortunately I had set my own alarm on my mobile. Left to the hotel, I would have missed my train.

The location was very convenient for our early trading to Charles De Gaulle airport. Check in as straightforward and the beds were comfortable for our 1 night stay.

Be aware that the location is a bit out of Tours centre but that was not an issue for us as we dropped our rental car at the train station.

The convenience, the decor, friendliness & efficiency of the staff. We were tired when we arrived so it was wonderful to have a restaurant on the premises. Breakfast was excellent. top marks, Hôtel Kyriad. un très bon séjour!

The room was simple but very clean and had everything we needed. The location right next to the station is excellent. Also the staff were fantastic - they spoke both French and English and were happy to ofer advice on how to get around town. Also when I had my phone stolen (not at the hotel but in town) they were extremely helpful and petient, and helped us with advice on reporting the theft.

Stayed one night while passing through town. Staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and tidy. Being next to the train station, the hotel is easy to get to. I arrived by car and used the private parking.

While the bathroom was nice, I found the shower is a bit cramped due to my length (1m90).

The customer service was fantastic. Stephanie at the reception was super helpful. Clara and Lucas at the restaurant were friendly and efficient. Location was great. The restaurant food was good.

We booked 2 rooms and the air conditioning didn't work but Stephanie was excellent in changing the rooms for us.

The convenience to the train station.... and the surprising niceness of the location... (compared to other hotels near train stations which can be hit and miss)

Having paper cups & tumblers! :-( It may be more work, but in a planet-saving way real china and glassware is much more eco friendly and way more pleasant to drink from.
