Hotel Lyon-ouest

The rooms and bathrooms are huge and very clean. The beds are very comfortable and I like the option to choose your pillow. The shower gel in the bathroom is just gorgeous. The safe is good as is the air conditioning. The staff are wonderful. So very friendly and helpful. The car park is large and secure and only 11€ per night. The location is good not too far out of the centre with bars and restaurants close by. It was our second stay here and we spent a very comfortable 3 nights. We will be back.

It’s a shame that there is no minibar in the room and the tea selection isn’t great, only mint and Ceylon no breakfast tea but at least it’s there.

Last minute booking as we were travelling to Spain. Room was great.

Bar closed, said it was pet friendly but no doggie areas. Parking facilities were a bit of a nightmare. Height restriction said 2mtrs, we had a roof box and got through the gate but it was underground parking and the further you went down into the car park the height decreased! We had to reverse all the way out as we couldn’t get car in! But we managed to get outside parking. All a bit stressful.

Fair, good value for the money.

Asking 20€ for parking with free parking over night right next to the hotel seems excessive, but I guess those depend on availability. What frustrated me was the fact that the hotel blocked the money for the room twice on my account. The money was not taken, but they were blocked, which means they couldn’t be used, and it took a ticket with Booking to get them to release them. More that one week later, still waiting for the money to be unblocked. They said it could take up to 30 work days, depending on my bank, but they shouldn’t have blocked them twice in the first place.

Superb parking if you are precious about your car secure gated and underground ample spaces. Great room good amenities coffee machine and water. Breakfast was good fresh fruit was delicious. Staff were very helpful

It is a bit too far as a tourist hotel if you don’t mind a 15 minute walk to the train station.Then it’s a short hop on the metro to the centre we got an all day all transport ticket for €6 well with it.

We do a lot of bussiness trips and also for holidays and stayed in a lot of hotels in bussines areas and i know what to expect from a hotel. The hotel was very clean and big rooms. The stuff was nice and helpfull. Location was ok with some restaurants in walking distance and bus stops just a minute away. The rooms had everything that you need. Breakfast was really good and the restaurant of the hotel one of the good ones in Lyon. For a 3 star hotel it was perfect.

Nice descent hotel. We asked some questions before arrival via the booking app, these were answered within a short timeframe. Rooms are spacious, descent and wel cleaned. Breakfast is fine. Location is near the freeway and some restaurant are around the corner.

Only one minor detail. At the keycard release of one of the rooms the system didn't blocked the room for further hand-out, so a couple came in the rooms because reception gave them our room. This was resolved quicky by reception.

Very good hotel. It is positioned along Saône river. The room was spacious. The beds were comfortable and we could sleep like a baby. The brakefast was very good. There is a terace outside where you can enjoy your meal. The personel was very friendly and helpful. The town of Lyon is very beautiful and we will come back for sure to visit it completly using the same hotel

The location was quite far from town, but I knew that when I made the reservation, the hotel was a lot cheaper than the others in the center of town

Good value for money, you receive exaxctly for what you pay for. A quiet room with a comfortable bed, all you need is in the room, there is an option to have an underground parking but we were lucky enough to find a place just on the street. The normal breakfast, friendly personal. Pretty close to the city center by car. For the big busy and noise Lyon this place is a perfect stay.

It is the one of the best 3 stars hotel. ( I think France has the best 3 stars hotels). Great location, even though the hotel restaurant was not open, they are good restaurants nearby, friendly staff, big and clean room. Very good breakfast. It was an overnight stop over trip, next time will stay longer
