Hotel des Savoies Lyon Perrache

Location is absolutely the best in the city. In the middle of the 2 riversides, 200 m to Perrache main subway station where you can also ride trams the Flixbus lines to any cities in France and Europe. Using only on switching in subway, easy to get to La Gare de Part Dieu to catch TGVs and other train lines to any cities in France. That main station is aolso connected underground to a monster shopping mall Westfield where you can dine as well as enjoy shopping in celebrity brands. There are nice small and midsize restaurants and supermarkets (e.g. U Express) at the close vicinity of the hotel. Front desy people are very kind and helpful. They even organized us Uber several times. Very clean and well housekept hotel. rooms were exactly as shown in the application.

Housekeeping is little too noisy in the morning if you want to have morning sleep. Lift is too small and slow.

Everything looks pretty recent. The rooms are stylish. We paid about €95 euros per night including breakfast for 2 people, which is pretty cheap for a hotel in the centre of lyon. Great location, just a few minutes away from all the lovely restaurants. It's a very fair 3 star hotel with a great location. Staff was very friendly as well, providing us with an alternative parking garage close-by as their private parking was full.

Breakfast was fair but a bit simple and the breakfast room is a bit too small for the amount of guests. While everything looked quite recent and stylish, there was some mould in the shower.

The room is small but has enough space. The hotel has a good location close to the train station, and you feel safe in the area. I was able to walk to all areas and did not need to use any transportation. However, if you do not like to walk, some parts of the city might be too far away, and you may need to take a bus. The staff is very nice.

The breakfast was basic, with not many choices. However, considering the size of the hotel, it was appropriate and priced reasonably at only 10 euros. So, it is worth it.

The room was comfortable, well stocked with things we may have needed, and was clean. The man at the desk was kind and helpful when we arrived, and the hotel wasn't busy or loud during our stay.

The shower didn't drain properly, so there was a large puddle in the bathroom if the water ran for more than a few seconds. The breakfast was a bit complicated as the room is very small, so it was crowded and busy, but otherwise it was good.

Rooms were comfortable and modern for a basically old establishment. Private, secure parking is provided. Within walking distance of the old town, and close to the railway station with subway and tram stops. Don't miss Brasserie George!

Breakfast facilities were a bit small. Guests will have to take turns in getting some pastry and coffee in the morning. Close to the main railway station. Not the safest area in any city.

the bed was huge and very comfortable. the room was really nice with a lovely light-up headboard of Lyon, and it was always clean and comfortable. the location is really good, literally a stone throw from Perrache train station which was really handy. the staff were incredibly friendly, and very helpful whenever I asked them for anything. I would definitely stay here again. Good value for money. i had a lovely few days!

not really an issue for me, but the lift was really small, so I imagine someone with a lot of luggage would struggle.

Receptionist was brilliant. He firstly showed us the off street parking so that we didn't get a ticket. He then suggested that I might like a different room due to the very compact shower cubicle in the room reserved for us. I'm 6'3'' and quite wide! We accepted the new room which had a wet room and was so spacious.....and the headboard lit up a picture of the city!

Breakfast choice a bit limited, but didn't go hungry!

A clean room and bathroom, with nice staff, close to metro station, Gare Perrache and Place Carnot. Also a nice little vitnemese restaurant near, with great food and nice people.

Small room, with no chairs, only a taburet, tiny table, full of a cattle and stuff (things that could be put in a nice cristal glass saving space) and a usless table lamp occupying space. As we had take away products, we could not eat a cake or cheese on it, we had to use the bad. 😳 Breakfast could have some vegetables.

Hotel was clean and nice. Small rooms, but real clean and cozy. Just what you need to sleep and take a shower. We habe been there with 4 kids, 6 adults. We had family rooms, everything ok. Staff was speaking Englisch which is really a plus for a hotel in France, whee mostly they don‘t want/can‘t speak Englisch. Also the hotel was near to the city center- walking distance!

The room was very spacious, exceptionally neat and clean. I was travelling with my elderly father. The staffs were very disabled friendly. Good location.

Don’t like the paper glass and cups. It’s awful to drink water with the same paper cup repeatedly. Because they only keep two paper cups and two paper glasses in the room.
