The common areas downstairs were beautifully decorated. Comfortable sitting area in the lobby. Nice outdoor eating area.

My room was perfect except for the carpet. It was old, orangish, very worn shag, and did not look clean at all. It would be so easy to rip it out and replace it and I was a bit baffled why that hasn’t been done. The room would have been amazing if it wasn’t for that - I wore shoes the whole time because I didn’t want my bare feet on that carpet.

The room was tiny, however I had everything I needed there. The bed was convenient, location of the hotel is excellent - literally 5 minutes from the old town, very close to shopping street. The hotel was beautifully decorated for the New Years, I felt very festive. Great breakfast, highly recommended to take it.

thin walls. Could literally hear my neighbors having sex and greeting their relatives with the new year - could distinguish words. Luckily, they went to bed shortly. The policy with water is a little "droughting". To have drinking water, you should come down to reception and ask for a jar of clean drinking water, they give it without any issue. I drink a lot and it was it a bit annoying to go down every time, however I understand that it is made to save some water, not to use plastic etc. Not a disadvantage as such, but something to be taken into account, when planning your stay.

It is in a great location, clean and the staff was friendly. The room size is comfortable, as are the toilets. I like that there was also a lift in the hotel.

not much, but the toilet has a strange smell. Maybe it is the detergent/bleach or the use of vinegar to clean the toilet, but the hotel could invest in some air fresheners overall. Even in the corridors. There was a little wear and tear on the basin and the bath tub that could do with a little touch-up. otherwise, it was a really good stay.

The hotel and the rooms were beautifully decorated, room was a good size and bathroom was large. We enjoyed the lounge and onsite restaurant. Location was very good and staff was able to get us taxis quickly whenever we needed.

Air conditioning wasn't cooling well in one room. Staff said they repaired it but it was only a little better. Our other room was much cooler.

Amazing location, I received a travel map and several suggestions for locations to visit. The complementary water was nice and even if I arrived too early for the check-in, I could leave my luggage at the reception, have a delicious coffee and go explore the city. I particularly loved the extra touches, like the artisanal soaps in the bathroom and the cute welcome booklet in the room. The decorations are also very original, my room had a beautiful chimney too and I could open the beautiful windows and get fresh air. I also liked the room key, it looks very special and made me feel secure that it wasn't a digital swipe key, like in a traditional hotels, where it often happens that several people receive the same key.

The only negative feedback is for the water pressure of the shower, it was quite low and the water was draining very slowly, too.

Great location and very cozy room. The common space at the reception area is very well designed. I loved the sustainable solutions and the fact that I could order what I need for the room (kettle, toothbrush set etc.)

Double room was already very small so I am worried that single rooms can be too small for some guests. Also watch out if you have heavy luggage - there is no lift.

The location is great and so is the restaurant with its terrace.

You should redo your bathrooms. Bathtubs are obsolete these days. They are a water waste and difficult to access for elderly and/or physically disabled people. A good shower would be sufficient. You should add some hooks on the walls for clothes and towels. There should also be a place or shelf for toiletries and cosmetics. At breakfast more fruit and some fat-free yogurt would be welcome.

I was late for Breakfast and was still offered a good Cafe au Lait and some cake. Staff friendly and helpful.

This is not a point of criticism, but if you book a small single room, it is really small and the view to the back is to an airshaft. A bit like a ship's cabin with no window. But room fine and functional. Shower though quite crammed for a full size person. But all worked well.

Lovely traditional French hotel in the heart of Lyon. Easy access to tube and busses. A short walk from a fine selection of restaurants (the city of Lyon is worth visiting just for gastronomy - arguably the finest in France) and posh shops if that’s your thing. Lovely helpful staff. Classy hotel. Not cheap but not ridiculous either for a luxury getaway.

The room was charming and quiet, despite being on the street. The hotel location is ideal for experiencing the best of Lyon. The breakfast offered was lovely. The keys were so cute! The staff was helpful and courteous.

I wasn't particularly keen on the price; I thought it was a little high. The curtains liked to get stuck when I tried closing them. Honestly, there isn't much I didn't like.
