Kyriad La Rochelle Centre - Les Minimes

The location: the hotel is located in a quiet and calm location, but also surrounded by restaurants, bars, supermarket, and bus stops. In 15-20 minutes walk you are in the centre of everything in La Rochelle. 10 minutes to the Aquarium, 5 minutes to the port. Shower is great. Bed and pillows are very comfortable. The bed is big. Good housekeeping service.

Room is a bit smaller than the usual. The bathroom got a bit flooded after showers as the shower box wouldn't keep all the water in, but nothing major.

The hotel room was clean but small , the bathroom was good although it had a slight mild scent it was alright . Had a window to open and let fresh air in. Let me tell you, the beds were really comfortable!! We stayed one night , it was a great stay. The area was close to EVERYTHING, 15 min walk to the city and view fort. Close to many attractions too like the maritime museum & aquarium, McDonald’s was nearby literally 2 mins walking and other restaurants as well.

The ONLY thing that worked my nerves was one of the receptionists, she was very fluent in English and she was helpful but she rolled her eyes every time I asked her a question.

Superb value: a very large and bright room; quiet. A varied breakfast. Friendly staff.

About 12 mins of the walk to the city centre is through an old maritime area and past university buildings; all were a bit quiet, and almost deserted at the start and end of the day. Not a problem if you're driving or travelling in a group, or you're not out late in the dark.

The hotel was in a good location - around twenty minutes from the aquarium- which was a flat and easy route to walk. The hotel was ideal for an overnight stay with rooms large and clean. Air con gratefully used. Lady (blonde curly hair - sorry name not remembered) on reception was really helpful and pleasant. Thank you.

Hard to think of anything but maybe more milk in rooms for coffee/tea. FYI - To close the bedroom doors properly you need to slam the door quite hard.

Perfect location to explore La Rochelle,15 minute stroll to the port and old town. Hotel is tidy and well organised for evening drinks and has a broad menu for self service breakfast. Parking was easy, we pre-booked a space ,parked nearby and were given the underground parking access code at check in.

No complaints,very pleased with our stay!

excellent location and the on-site parking was a plus. wide choice of food at breakfast. rooms both clean and comfortable. staff friendly and one in particular, Ina, was exceptional!!! whatever her salary is, it should be doubled!!

internet connection designed to cancel whenever one left the hotel and the log in process had to be gone through every time. frustrating and time consuming.

Friendly staff, modern and clear interior design which I really liked, the room felt spacious and there's shower cubicle so the rest of the bathroom didn't get wet and I'm really picky about pillows, but the pillows were super comfortable!

I checked in later than expected and the member of staff greeting me did not speak English (not speaking French is a fault of my own of course), yet she put in the effort and communicated all I needed to know in a very kind a friendly manner.

Great location, 15-20mn walk to La Rochelle centre, easy parking despite being August. Very comfortable rooms and great choice for breakfast.

One member of staff in reception was particularly condescending and unpleasant. The others thankfully made up for her.

Room and facilities were spot on. Parking was a bonus for us. Walking distance to the town centre was about 20 minutes.

Had an issue with the shower leaking under it's door and leaving a large pool on the floor. Difficulty in finding anywhere to park whilst registering and accessing the Horel parking.
