ibis Grenoble Gare

Great hotel. My room, on the river facing-side of the building, had a great window view; and there was a large desk by the window, so a little bit of working with laptop I had to do was both super-comfy and pleasand with that view. Arriving to the hotel with car was easy, and they have a nice parking in the yard. Looking at the map, I believe the train station is also very near, and the city center is walking distance away. Breakfast was fine.

Their WiFi Internet didn't work for me. Though, after failing to connect I just used my mobile connection, and never asked the stuff about it, so probably it was just my problem, or could be otherwise resolved.

Great location --- only a few minutes walk from the railway station and close to the river and the old town. Very nice view on the river side of the hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful and spoke excellent English.

The bathroom could have been cleaner. There was some mildew in the shower and mildew under the rim of the toilet. The initial supply of toilet paper was a bit limited, though it was replenished after the first evening.

Room was lovely, perfect location for walking into the town. Lovely views of the mountains from the bedroom also. Staff were very friendly, which made for a quick and easy check in. Breakfast was pretty standard, I liked that they offered soya milk. Suited all of our needs for a nights stop in the city!

Always look for the adress of the selected hotel, there could be more of them in the city

Location and secure parking. Breakfast was very good. Typical ibis room, good enough for one night stay.

Accommodation was what we expected for an ibis. however, Grenoble itself has gone downhill and not the town it was. A lot of damage from recent protests too.

Nice staff. Comfortable room. Nice view!! Good location, very close to the station, not far from the old town. Calm.

It was cleanish not clean... toilet was dirty in less visible places, water would stay under the shower, the courtains had many little holes and the hairdrier (one of those weak ones attached to the wall - it takes forever to dry hair with them...) did not work.

It would be better if there are more choices of the breakfast.

The hotel was great and the staff was wonderful.

This has nothing to do with the hotel and I haven't considered it in my rating, it's just for ppl information. The window of my van was broken amid the night by someone, aiming to rob the van. The area didn't seem so safe.

Good location close to the railway and bus station, satisfactory selection for breakfast buffet, knowledgeable and helpful staff on the reception, reasonable value for money
