The hosts were absolutely delightful and welcoming. There was a welcome glass of champagne upon arrival, and they helped organise the parking. They were charming and helpful during the entire stay. Our room, Verte, was huge and well appointed, even including an A/C unit. We especially enjoyed the breakfast, with a wide variety of options to choose from and freshly brewed coffee. The B&B has a charming look and feel to it, with plenty of flowers and plants paired with antique furniture & art on the wall. The best part was the walkability, being mere moments off the Ave de Champagne and all the best spots for tastings. We couldn’t have enjoyed our stay more!

The check in process was fantastic - warm, friendly, hospitable. They offered us a glass of Champagne each, to celebrate my mum's birthday. The rooms were charming, clean and comfortable - and the breakfast was fantastic! The hotel is beautifully decorated and the owners really go out of their way to look after you. It is ten minutes walking to Avenue de Champagne. We would definitely return.

My only slight criticism is that it would be better not to use single-use plastic water bottles and bathroom items. We need to move away from using these sort of things

Jeu de Paume is in a quiet street, near the centre of the town with private parking. After checking in we were able to walk into town and have dinner in the restaurant we had booked in advance. The old house is beautiful and tastefully decorated. It is spotlessly clean and the bedroom was large, spacious and exceptionally comfortable. The couple who own-and run the house, Monsieur et Madame Gras are very welcoming and delightful company. Madame chatted to us whilst we sampled the champagne included in the stay and Monsieur chatted to us during breakfast. The breakfast was very fresh and beautifully prepared. I asked for decaf instead coffee which at first Monsieur Gras couldn’t find but eventually asked his wife, who produced the decaf instead coffee specially for me. Nothing was too much trouble. In addition to the dining room and bedroom, there is a small guest area where we made tea on our arrival and first thing in the morning. We particularly appreciated this facility. I would recommend this house to anyone but according to Monsieur they are already fully booked for the summer. I’m not surprised. We would love to return.

There was nothing that we didn’t like.

Location excellent being in the historic city centre and only 4 mins walk from Avenue de Champagne. Beautiful property and really comfortable bed. Our room was Papillon which was cheapest but had everything you could need and had ample space for 2 people. Just one point - if you have mobility problems there are no rooms on the ground floor and there is no lift. Excellent breakfast with plenty of choice. Overall would really recommend and would definitely stay again.

Had to be careful the shower didn’t overflow as it wasn’t a sealed unit when you were in it.

Beautifully decorated rooms, with a very warm and home touch. The room had a very good space, very clean . We were received with a nice glass of champagne. Breakfast was in a very cute room, well curated and simple. They allow you to park inside.

I wish they have been more clear about the parking upfront Communication can be hard if you do not speak french, but manageable Our room was on the top and full of windows that we could not properly black out...so some light in the morning

everything! perfect location, private free parking, house was beautiful, very quiet location & walkable to all popular areas. Hosts were so sweet & helpful. breakfast was delicious!

no standing shower. only had a tub w a shower head which was difficult for showering in the morning. I also came with friends but would probably not come with my children. other guests seemed older, couples & the house was nice & quiet. not a bad thing, just recommendation for those traveling with children.

We were so happy when we drove into the courtyard of the hotel. It is a charming very well restored old French house in the center of Epernay. Only a short walk from the main champagne avenue. The owners greeted us and showed us to the most beautiful bedroom with hand painted murals on the walls All very tasteful and in keeping with the french style. Bed was so comfortable and very clean. Lovely bath in the bedroom and nice en suite. We were given a glass of champagne to drink in the courtyard before we started our stay. The breakfast was included in the price and it was delicious. A lovely ambience.

Marie and Bruno offer a chance to sample real French living. The whole house is filled with colour, antiques and art to suit each room and all done so in a stylish manner. Both make time to help with suggestions to ensure you have a fulfilled vacation. Whether hiring a bike or booking a champagne tour. We were met with a glass of Gregoire, Blancs de Blancs which became the benchmark champagne for the rest of the trip. Bruno is on hand to ensure you're fed and watered and if your French is proficient willing top discuss any subject. Breakfasts are in a sun-soaked room (even when it was snowing outside) with plentiful supply of freshly made coffee, bread, cheeses, hams and fruit. It can become a little monotonous after 4 days. The rooms were spacious and depending on which of the 5 you have will offer either a bath or shower. Location is superb being 30 seconds from the centre and only 8 minutes from the Station and 5 minutes to Avenue de Champagne. We travelled with our son and daughter and their respective partners and they all loved it. NB: Nothing was too much trouble even down to doing some bespoke printing and cutting out for a surprise gift.

Don't go if you like a minimalist style as this B&B is full of Marie's passion for Antiques and art.

We loved our stay. Warm, friendly, attention to detail. good value for money. Anne Marie and her husband were incredibly helpful. The glass of bubbles on arrival was a gorgeous touch. close to all locations. plenty of tourist information. Gave advise on where to eat - which was again superb. The breakfast was fantastic. Bed was dreamy, slept log an angel after a hot soak in the spacious tub before jumping into bed

There was nothing.

The place was very clean and in a great location. The bedroom and bathroom were large and the bed was comfortable. The B&B is walking distance from many attractions. The owners were easy to communicate with and provided recommendations for places to eat dinner. There was a variety to chose from for breakfast and it was made fresh each morning.
