Hôtel Restaurant Kyriad Direct DIJON NORD - Zenith - Toison d'Or

We have stayed here before and find it more than acceptable given it’s budget hotel Wi-Fi worked very well breakfast very good. Convenient to the motorway for onward travel.

We had a meal at the restaurant on site which was a bit of a fiasco. The starters were more than fine but the main courses were over cooked. One had the steak which despite ask8ng for rare had been cooked well done, another had a chicken noodle dish whereby the chicken was so over cooked it was very hard. We did raise this and no explanation or alternatives offered, let alone an apology. Whilst we would stay at the hotel again we maybe would think twice about eating there as well

The room was not too cramped and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom could have done with a refresh but it was a perfect spot for us on a drive down to the South. Our room was also pretty quiet, which is always appreciated. The breakfast was good value for money.

The EV chargers were not yet up and running when we stayed there, but I assume that's coming very soon. Other chargers in the immediate area were wildly expensive so we opted to drive a bit further to charge our car at a reasonable price.

Good value for money, friendly staff. Chose this hotel as more reasonably priced accommodation to watch concert at Zenith Dijon: however not ideal to walk from hotel to Zenith as no pedestrian walkway, better to drive. They have cozy restaurant, did not get chance to eat there but able to get drinks after concert.

Breakfast is so-so Could also have better breakfast set-up. Only have one coffee machine in middle of breakfast buffet setup which created bottle-neck with people lining up.

It’s a great place if you need an overnight stay while travelling by car and want to stay close to the highways. The rooms are clean with big comfy beds and there’s a restaurant in the premises, since there’s nothing around the area it’s definitely lifesaving. The free parking is definitely a plus.

The building is rather old with somewhat poor sound isolation between the rooms and corridors.

Room was quite clean and good space for us all with a small desk as well. Clean bathroom with very strong water pressure. very close to a mc'ds and KFC down the road, which is always a good comfort on a long road trip.

Main issue is the noise of pipes within the hotel. If another room above flushes or showers it will likely wake you up. so I had a fairly unsettled sleep. Parking was quite full on arrival so wasn't as straight forward as id have liked to park though a space became available.

We were upgraded to a very large room double bed and three singles in one room, would be great for a family! We ate in the restaurant in the evening a great choice of food, great set meal prices, quick and efficient service, and lovely food. Breakfast usual continental but with plenty of choice. Plenty of free parking.

It was on a trading estate, but for us it was not far off the motorway for an overnight stop, the fact that it had a great restaurant meant you did not have to be in the centre of town, and of course free parking!

The size of the room, the shower was great - so powerful. Everything was very clean.

Only one plug socket in the entire room which was on the far side from the door. This was a surprise as they had a desk in the room for you to work off, not unreasonable to think you might want to plug in a laptop.

Room was adequate and clean. Bed was very comfortable Bathroom was clean

Unfortunately no drinks making facilities... Stepping out of the bath/shower is difficult, especially if you are elderly. There should be a 'Grab Rail' to hold when stepping out of the bath. (Room 207)

Good location, just a few minutes from the motorway. Staff were super friendly and all English speaking, Food was great, the service was excellent and the restaurant was open until 10pm. Breakfast was basic pastries etc, but was totally sufficient. Lots of parking

The rooms were a bit dated and the aircon didn't seem to be working well. The rooms were clean though

Room big enough to accommodate 2 double beds for family of 2 adults with 2 children. Beds very comfortable. Bathroom (with bath), room and linens very clean. Excellent for an overnight stay. Only thing missing is a little kettle in order to make your own tea/coffee and to make baby milk. Fortunately, we had our own travel kettle. Evening restaurant has varied dishes and was of excellent value for money. Service and food quality was above expectations for this type of hotel. Did not have breakfast.

Check-in was busy and a bit slow but staff were helpful.
